I remember watching this a year ago, just before my group encountered some Beetle Barrels, as we called them, in a gnome cave. Fresh with the knowlage of Apparatus of Kwalish, I was certain these mini tanks at least had Spider Climb, so I ran it into a wall and broke off it's claw.
I think they were litterally just there to be damage spounges for a slightly high CR dungeon at level 2, but we managed to get through it without them with some illusions and a mage hand. Ended up using them to drive back to town and trade them in for a slightly higher reward.

Not going crazy; it's Aqua Mamba's Americanish accent (and perhaps just a bit being used to calling Tom's character 'Birdie'.)
The alveolar stop is not voiced. I'm pretty sure the sound made was 'tee' and not 'dee'

I have an idea for a series that teaches/talks about the creation of a DnD campaign, Story, Character creation, World Creation so on and so forth. I want to start playing DnD but don't have a group so will need to learn how to be DM
I also wondered if maybe fans could send in character creations that could maybe be used as a "quick character" or NPC

@@cuffedjeans7320 YEEES! Gnome dies in acid in this series, gnome wizard in my first campaign got instantly incinerated by a dragon, gnome wizard in my friend's campaign gets skewered by a spear, and in my second compaign gnome wizard got torn to shreds by Gnolls

Me thinking about if i were in the situation that boomer and bertie were in, always playing some kind of spellcaster... i use misty step as it only takes a verbal component, puzzle solved

Also, why is a shark attacking a giant metal lobster? It is inedible.
Because it looks like a lobster. Sharks bite surfers because they look like turtles from below (oblong shell with limbs out to the sides)
Mark did also say that it had attacked and sunk ships. If it was just a megaladon, the natural instinct drives it to take a testing bite was what drove it to attack. After that, the apparatus fighting back triggered its self-defense instincts. Additionally, it's probably a monstrosity. Or a mix of both.
