A quick update. Thanks Emy for the ultra quick postage. Ive been using the pen for almost a week now, and it has become my daily writer. Its overtaken my Visconti Wall street, red celluloid EF which I love. It took a few days to get used to the girth of the pen, as most of my pens are slender in comparison. But that nib. Yep its a gusher and I do prefer EF nibs, but normal writing is not EF, but reverse writing is perfect, not scratchy either. Perfect pen. There is feedback for both normal and reverse writing and its a bit more than I would have preferred, but I have noticed it depends on the ink being used. Currently using Diamine Robert (yeh I know its not green), but will use a wet green ink once the Diamine runs out. Thanks again. Ciao.
hmmm - it takes less pressure to flex it, its softer and much more easy to bend if you over do it, wetter and has a much finer starting line than a Leonardo
Hey Dave , Thanks for the support. Yeah I’ve seen that all of them need to be very tight in order to have those facets align, and it’s with all pens that we have in stock
@@pen.venture I removed the section of my Piuma, then I closed the cap, the faceted sides easily aligned perfectly. Perhaps the section is a tad too big. Anyways, does the La Dotta have a screw in nib unit like the Feel? Fantastic in depth video as always. 👍🏻👍🏻
Perhaps :D im not aware of this fact - when they are delivered the cap is very tightly screwed in. It does have a screw in nib unit just like the feel, but in my experience they are very tight and 90% of the cases when i tried this , it resulted in a nib bend, probably the best way is to pull the nib and feed out without trying to unscrew. - this is just my experience, proceed at your own opinion
@@pen.venture I’m worried to crack the resin if I tighten it in order to align the facets. It’s bothering me a little bit. I see, I received the wrong nib for my Feel, despite the box indicated the right nib. So, the store sent me a replacement nib unit, with feed and housing included. I managed to unscrew it which was really tight for the first time. Fortunately there seems to be no damage / no bend.
You have a beautiful writing I personally wouldn't use such a wet ink with a flex nib thou. Shading might be pleasant but there's too much ink on the paper and the result is not under control.
Beautiful demonstration of the nib. Just the way I’d like my writing to look.
You and me both! Thank you so much for your support Michael
Are you kidding me!!!!!!
Just ordered it. WOW, just WOW!!
Hey Nick - pen is traveling your way :D very happy that i could ship all orders early Monday :D
@@pen.venture Great news. I literally cant wait.

It’s a simply beautiful writer! Like this new model a lot!
Thanks David for the feedback and support 👍🏻
What a wonderful nib - in the hands of an expert! Thanks for the thorough review. :)
My pleasure Scot! As always thank you for your kind words :D
@@pen.venture How would you compare this nib to the nice flex Leonardo nib I now have some experience with...?

This looks amazing!!
like 5 minutes ago we got the confirmation - they are on the way here
Must have one!
I think we still have some :D
Beautiful
Thank you! Cheers Lorenzo :D
Lovely Emy. Even I love Scribo pens. I have the Feel Panarea in 18K Fine and I simply love it.
Good to know K ! they are due to show up any moment from now and the preorders will be shipped out - Ai Colli i didnt seen it yet so im very exited
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you Mark
Gorgeous pen ... gorgeous ink! Love my Scribo Feel and Piuma. I would love my Piuma even more if the "flats" lined up without force!

@@pen.venture BTW ... would love to get my hands on a "Zucca" hint, hint!

Would have been nice if they did a Feel Model like this but with the Utopia color, i would buy two of those. Beautiful pen but not my color.
That could be a nice choice for a material :D

Thank you :D I have one of these in Fine and I find it to be very nice in writing although its super super wet
