@@zurthr2081 people who work repetitive manual labour jobs on fordist production lines tend to be paid very little. We don't know for sure but it's likely. The fact that the process is split into so many steps means the workers might only be trained to do one step (e.g.: one person is literally just trained to put the sprinkles on the cake and can't do any of the other steps) which allows the company to pay them less. This company could be different and decide to cross train them all in the whole process, give them decent pay and allow great opportunities for advancement but unfortunately historically speaking it's been more convenient for the company not to do any of that

It’s so different from North America, isn’t it? In Korea it is the same process, just BIGGER. In North America, it’s much more mechanized. Hand piping would be done in a pastry or cake shop here, but in a factory it would be squirted with a machine. I assume it is because labour is less expensive there. They don’t use corn syrup as much in Korea or Europe as much because it is much more expensive there. I’ve seen it used in this factory for confections, candy etc. Corn is heavily subsidized in the US, so that it ends up cheaper than cane sugar. (And we wonder why Carribean and Central American countries are struggling- their main exports are being shut out of the largest close market). Oh, sorry- soap box moment- big pharma, chemical and food producers work together to control of the US agriculture and food markets. 🤨
I h8 honey in some countries! In our country it’s filled with a lot of stuff so it’s like thick and lighter. It’s like 15% real honey or something xD A few years ago my dad bought honey from a friend who has bees long away. We still have some of the honey since we Got a lot but it is sooooo good
@@AnimatingOwl I know exactly what you mean! We had that problem in Canada- where stuff filled with sugar syrup was coming in from China. We could only get good honey direct from local farms. The regulations have since changed. The price doubled, but the stuff in the grocery store tastes like proper honey again!

I'm sure it's a cleaning team and they have industrial dishwashers. When I worked in my school cafeteria, we had one where dishes were racked in one of several heavy plastic square trays with posts to stand them up and holes in the bottom. That slid through a channel over a sink with a garbage disposal. There was a high pressure hose we used to spray any solid food debris off of the dishes into the disposal, then push the tray down the channel onto a chain drag that led directly into a huge square metal industrial washer/sanitizer. The chain would pull it inside, and we'd pull down a door on both sides that triggered the machine to wash, rinse, and sanitize the dishes. It used a sanitizing chemical and the water temperature spraying inside was 185 degrees - we were very specifically warned DO NOT PUT YOUR HAND THROUGH THE DOOR EVER) - the machine took about four minutes and then the doors opened and the chain pushed the tray of clean dishes out the other end where up to three racks would sit over a draining channel and air-dry (very fast since the water was steaming hot and evaporated quickly) and then the dishes were racked and the wash trays went back to the beginning.
The amount of steps and volume of work that goes into preparing these cakes is huge. Kudos to the staff that make them. I'd love to taste one and see if they are as good as they look.
Estou absmada com a higiene, adorei todo processo que os colaboradores passam antes de iniciar o trabalho. Que muitos países e fábricas sigam o exemplo.🇧🇷🇧🇷

Everyone keeps talking about how clean they are. Sure, that's impressive. What's more impressive to me is how clumsy they aren't. From the pulled pans, to picking up iced cakes - without dropping a thing. Only in my dreams.
True! Same here!
I was thinking the same thing!!

Maybe it's because they were being recorded, thats my assumption
I don't think they would've filmed anything getting dropped 😂
I absolutely love how serious they take cleanliness in the bakery! Everything was pristine! I would like to know who washes the dishes! Y’all use more dishes 😂. Great video

Your baking art is very safe and hygienic, ensuring safety for consumers. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
God the attention to detail is so incredible to see, even up to the tiny chocolate decorations. The way they pour things into the mixer, the way things are layer out on the counter, the order in which things happen, everything is designed for ideal efficiency. Everyone is impressed with the hygiene and safety, but that is to be expected in a factory like this. What I was impressed the most by was the fact that they don’t waste any product and actually scrape out the bowls entirely. Stunning video.
I liked the scraping too! I'm bowl-scraper-maniac. 😬

Don’t you think that it is racism? They are already well paid and working in a sanitary & safe factory. Do not think that Asian workers are being treated like slaves 100 years ago at your disposal. As a Korean, it is very unpleasant.
@@chipo477 I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that Briana was saying that more because in a production like that in America, many of those types of jobs would be minimum wage jobs, which isn't actually congruent with the cost of living, even though all those workers seem to be doing highly intensive labor
@@ckilbarger01 But this is a video clip about factories in Korea and Korean workers. It is very rude for an American to make such remarks without knowing exactly what is going on in Korea. Don't try to teach Koreans about Korean affairs.

@@nx1100 okay but why would you say that?
More than likely minimum wage. Of course, I know that Korea is largely capitalistic, but I'm not sure if they're nearly as bad as America.
They are probably getting payed 7-8$ per hour because that's the minimum wage
@@zurthr2081 people who work repetitive manual labour jobs on fordist production lines tend to be paid very little. We don't know for sure but it's likely. The fact that the process is split into so many steps means the workers might only be trained to do one step (e.g.: one person is literally just trained to put the sprinkles on the cake and can't do any of the other steps) which allows the company to pay them less. This company could be different and decide to cross train them all in the whole process, give them decent pay and allow great opportunities for advancement but unfortunately historically speaking it's been more convenient for the company not to do any of that

Imagine working here and either wanting to eat all the cakes and have to resist all the time or never wanting cake because you see it everyday
I can attest to the fact that the first week there would be resistance and after that you would never wanna eat cake again
When I bake many cakes I smell it all day so don't feel like eating at all. But days I don't I don't mind eating cake 🤷
One day my mom told me to wash the chicken pieces, there were some blood stain which after many many hard tries just wouldn't get out. Mom told me to leave it like that as most pieces are like that. After hearing that, I couldn't enjoy chicken anymore. But idk why but I still like chilly chicken.

Wow. So clean. And it may be mass production, but those were real ingredients. No high fructose corn syrup or fillers. I'm impressed.

I can't imagine who clean all the stuff after baking in that bread factory 🙄
I hope someone else is cleaning as they go🤔
