I hope you enjoyed watching this video. This was my first attempt at building a headless guitar. It is actually much the same as standard guitar build. The only difference is planning the build.
I am not completely satisfied with the end results. There is some color bleed into the pores of ash wood so the border lines on the top are not as clean as I wanted them to be.
It is only an aesthetic issue but I cannot sell this guitar for its full price because of it.
If you would still like to purchase this guitar contact me on my website and We can talk about special price:

yes that raw sound of the tools is ear soothing!
Thanks man!
I never thought about whether this should have music or not but once you’ve asked for ‘my’ opinion(!?) I’m now pretty sure that I don’t want music (don’t ask me why😂)
😄 Thanks. It still helps.
Gorgeous looking guitar.
Thanks man!
Yes. It is good without any music. I like the soft neck heel.
Thank you.
I like the "without music" style better. Hearing the sounds of the tools and the craftwork are soothing
Thank you very much.
8:22 - 🤯 that is the tool I’ve always wanted and never knew existed!!
I would never of thought of inventing such a thing myself
W E L L D O N E, SIR!!
Thanks man! I'm happy you like the tool. Tag me on Instagram if you end up making it. I would love to see.
I absolutely like videos like this without "packaged" music. I do, however, always like to hear with the instrument sounds like when it is played someone other than the builder.
Thanks man. I still haven't recorded a demo for this one. I'll post it on my Instagram when it's ready.
That's one of the coolest guitars I have ever seen.
Thanks Marty!
Lovely guitar. And I really admire the comination of technology and hand tool skills in your process - you have got the balance right IMO. You are a 'proper' craftsman as well as a great designer!
Thank you very much. This is so nice to hear. I'm flattered.
I like videos without music. Usually the music chosen is something that I really don't want to listen to, and makes me change the channel more often than not.
Thanks Scott.
לזה קוראים יד של מקצוען. הייתי מת לנגן על הדבר הזה. אלוהים ישמור אותך אחי
Yeah this is amazing! Your craftsmanship is incredible!
This is my third video I am binging at the moment, but this is the nail in the coffin. Take that subscription!
that neck is awsome
Thanks man! Feels nice too.
Отличная работа и оснащение мастерской!
Thank you very much.
i'm definitely making a sander like that. both. the drum sander on the drill and i like that tight fitting fretboard radius sanding block. that's my next project.
Awesome 🙂
clean simple bold design....so beautiful...
Thanks 😊
I like the sound of the tools and working.
Thanks Rachel.
Stunning absolutely stunning! You’ve taught me a thing or 5 about the process in this video. Thanks for sharing!
That's awesome. Thanks David!
Absolutely beautiful
Thank you Jim.
I LOVE that body shape, great work.
Thanks!
I like the shape quite a bit. The epoxy fill looks better on the fretboard than on the body, imo. Very precise way of building.
Thanks man. I appreciate your opinion.
Amazing job, love the neck heel carve the most.
Thank you Daniel.
That is a clean build! I especially like the cut-out for the jack, I'll need to try that on a future build.
Thanks man. I like the cut-out too. It really puts the jack out of the way.
Signed in just to say yes, greatly prefer the video like this with no music overlays. Really nice build too. +subscribed
Thanks Nathan. I very much appreciate it.
Beautiful guitar, build, and video. I prefer not having background music. Thanks
Thank you very much.
Amazing! Love how original it is. Great job.
Thanks man!
I did enjoy that ... thanks !
Shrooms would go well with this . And play the guitar etc. some of your own .
Завораживает работа мастера!
Thanks!
8:24 Brilliant tool.
Thanks. You can download free plans for this tool. Link is un the description.
Beautiful!!!
Thanks!
Class all the way here. Too notch!
Thanks man!
Absolutely beautiful. Absolutely gorgeous bro👍🏻🤩
Thanks man!
That's an awesome looking guitar
Thanks Jim!
Beautiful work!
Thanks man!
Dude… I am so sorry I didn’t see this sooner. Friggin beautiful.
Super video. Really well shot and put together. I love the minimal talk-over and your guitar work is exceptionally innovative and creative. Thanks for the inspiration and entertainment.
Thank you very much ✌️
I like the videos best with narration so that we know what’s going on. You’re doing a great job. Thank you. I’m subscribing now.
Master builder 🤟🤟🔥🔥🔥
Thanks man 🤘
Dude. I had to watch again. Great job!

Thanks man. I will sell this one on a discount. Contact me on my website if you are interested. ( magicatticguitars.com )
I like the video without music. But would very much like the video with your speaking explaining what you are doing and why.
Thanks. You wouldn't mind my weird accent and broken English?
Beautiful work. So many wonderful & creative ideas.
Thanks Gerry!
VERY cool video and very, very cool guitar! I enjoyed the "no music" format.
Thank Mike!
GOOD JOB MAN
Excellent
Thanks
Wow! This gives me some interesting ideas. Amazing.
Nice. Thanks man!
Isso é trabalho, não as grandes marcas que mandaram pra china e lá se cospe instrumentos sem fim.

Well done ! Beautiful job, a lot of it freehand: fascinating !
Thanks man!

16:40 Hey man can you give us a shoot of your spraying booth? looks sweet. Awesome work, subscribed.
Super beau travail
Thanks
So talented, I was thinking I would miss the music but I did.
Quality build, can’t wait for your ggbo entry
Thanks mate. I still have no idea for the ggbo. I will probably do something under pressure of the last moment.
linda guitarra , seu trabalho é o melhor , parabéns!!!!!!
Thanks man!
4:28 - Those Pants! :). You do beautiful work. I wish I could afford one of your guitars. Genius move with the magnets :) Thank You for the video and letting us look over your shoulder. Best Regards and Best Wishes!
Awesome guitar man! I wish you could also make a demo for this beauty.
Can it solder? Can it cut? Weld? is it an accessory that lasers of your fret board to teach you? What type of laser?
Wow. Beautiful job done! 👍🏻✨🌿🌍
Thanks for video!
Thanks man!
I like the video without music, it's relaxing.
Thank you Pedro.
Amazing job!🎸🎸🎸🎸
Thanks man 🤘
I like your raduis jig!
Nice. Thanks!
I dream of a time when they will be able to fit the model of the exact action of the bend and overstretch of the string, the nut and the fan structure of the frets to a general formula with all the amendments. Such a guitar should be seven-stringed, balanced on the shoulder, light and resonant, and enriched with a B low note.
Well, of course, the neck pickup should be for accurate and final adjustment of the scale, after the guitar wood has dried, and it can be assigned the duties of a sustainer. It is from him that the tone must be taken, in order to measure the errors of the system, but these tones can also be extremely beautiful to the sound, if everything is adjusted and rebuilt.
Man this is very specific and I'm having hard time to understand it all. Thanks for sharing though.
@@MagicAtticGuitars The neck pickup delivers a signal that more accurately reflects frequency and doesn't have the dominance of harmonics that confuses a digital tuner's tuning. On a neck pickup, not only are measurements more accurate, but the harmonics and harmonics match the true tone exactly. All scale adjustments should be made precisely and only on a neck pickup.
Your guitar does not have a neck pickup.
Well, the second. The shift of the temporal order of the string on the fingerboard is subject to two factors: - additional string tension to clamp it at a certain fret - and shift of the oscillation breaking point, which depends on the thickness of the string and its elasticity. Therefore, the system will always have a different error on guitar strings of different thicknesses. You've probably heard about looking for equal tempo on the guitar. This is actually a problem that has not yet been resolved.
Great work! Enjoyed your video very much. What is the black plastic-like thin material you use for the body? What kind of silver powder have you used for the inlays? The look cool! Thanks
Thanks. The black material is a maple veneer that skateboard builders use and the powder is aluminium dust.
Wooowww...!!! Amazing.. nice video 😁👍👍👍
Thanks 😊
Beautiful clean and the lines so 2022
Thanks 🙂
Damn, dude, Ur guitars are beautiful
Just subbed
Thanks man 🤘
Amazing👍👍👍🎸
Thanks 😊
Great content.. you encouraged me to purchase that engraver! But I don't known what Is the máximum Depth of engrave.. you could give me some enlightment about it
Thank you! It very much depends on the material and settings. It's impossible to give an general answer to this question.
@@MagicAtticGuitars For wood.. could I engrave a body or neck?
Yes sure. It also depends on the density of the wood. I was cutting 4mm thick walnut with it.
@@MagicAtticGuitars Pretty hard wood.. no jokes on it! xD
This turned out killer. You mentioned templates? Those for the Ortur or just to buy? I’d love some.
I can make templates for your custom design if that's something you would like. You can contact me on my website.
Did you spot that fly's cameo? xD.
Good job, man. I wish I had this talent and build my own guitars
Haha you are the first one who noticed the fly 😄 Thanks man! Talent is developed by practice.
Very cool. Just found your channel. Though you said it was a 3MW laser! 🙃 "Oh boy..we are going to see some cutting now!" I appreciate no music and just sound effects and narration. Love your work Sir. Best Regards and Best Wishes. Subscribed.
Thank you very much. I really appreciate it.
Excelente Acabados y calidad 10
Thanks Jose!
What is the Black material you glued between the body Back & body Top?
It adds a beautiful accent!
It's just a black veneer. Thanks!
Liked your video! Your channel is seriously underrated
Thanks man.
@@MagicAtticGuitars Your videos should get millions of views.
@@Jyotisha-veda I'm very happy you feel this way. It would be awesome 🙂
This is awesome! Lovin this guitar build of yours! Cheers!
Thanks man 🤘
What are those string locks you used behind the nut? I've been looking at different string locks but haven't seen those before. I like those a lot better than what I've been seeing!
Those are ABM.
Wow!
Thank you Jeff.
Nice work man! I would almost bet, judging by your Eng accent, that you come from the small and beautiful country that has about 40km of Adriatic coast and a 2850m highest mountain. Can I ask why you opted for the glued neck, was it aesthetics or also sound? And did you make your own pickups? I have never seen that shape of pu's before. Last question :) ... what gauge strings did you put on. The low E looks like it's quite thick, like 54 or 60. Cheers
Haha true. 😄 I believe that set neck has an influence on a string vibration enhancing the tone and sustain. If the joint is made properly it is almost like necktrough.
Pickups were custom made by Gorilla Pickups. I highly recommend them.
Strings are just standard daddario 10s.
But the guitar is tuned to D# standard.
@@MagicAtticGuitars mam eno vprašanje, bi lahko jaz enkrat prišel pogledat tvojo delavnico? Nekaj časa se sam ukvarjam z nadgradnjo in servisiranjem kitar in me zanima kako izgleda. Seveda bi moral zdržat tud kako vprašanje ;)
Too many gadgets & tools are being used !! Lacking simplistic skills.
I'm a sucker for tools and gadgets:)
The lure of sponsorship makes him less crafty in the workshop and rather soul-destroying for us. I'd prefer a through-neck build for this type - for stability and that beautiful lamination down to the tuners!
If anything, I'd opt for a longer video. like 30 minutes to one hour.
amazing
Thanks
Ach, gdybyż można było dać 5, albo jeszcze lepiej 10 "like'ów" - dałbym z radością! Pozdrawiam z Polski.
Dziękuję Ci Papa Pluto :)
I love this
Thanks man!
Awesome video....!!!
❤️🎸
Thanks James! 🙂
Iam doing a headless now...and seen where I can do better...that Lazer is awesome!!! About to Subscribe 👍
@@James-qc1zq that's very nice. I'm happy my video was useful to you.✌️
Lovely looking guitar. Which bridge and head piece are they, are they any good?
Thanks Ian. I'm using ABM parts. They are manufacturing high quality guitar parts in Germany. I like their stuff.
@@MagicAtticGuitars many thanks.
@@Cadmonkey no problem.
Very nice guitar where r they available to buy ?
Thank you Lorenzo. I am seeing them on my website ( magicatticguitars.com). If you are interested in this particular one contact me and we can arrange something.
dude i really love how you choose different head style, i love how badass the guitar looks, and i really support musicless video, ASMR of woodwork is the greatest of them all!!
As always it's been pleasure watching your work 😁😁🎸🤘
#KeSiUrbi 😆
Thanks bro.🙂🤘
#prit na kufe😄
another excellent build Izak. love the laser engraver purfling, looks fab! how deep can the laser cut?
Thanks man! It very much depends on the material. I haven't tested it to the extremes yet but I managed to cut 5mm walnut in few passes. I think I will be using it a lot for my builds.
@@MagicAtticGuitars oh that's cool, 5mm was deeper than I expected. Looking forward to see what else you come up with
making guitars with a laser cutter is cool ....but a guitar that makes lasers that cut would be cooler !!!!!!
A guitar making laser cutter that makes guitars. 😁
@@MagicAtticGuitars isn't that "the singularity" of AI Isaac Asimov warned us against? The robots are taking over!!
@@gavriloprincip11 😅
reminds me of the black rangers battle axe from power rangers. they don't look anything alike but this could be a power ranger weapon.
Could be🙂 Thanks for the comment.
Have you had any issues with the audio jack over hang behind so thin? I would be afraid of dropping the guitar and cracking it
How thick was the material for your templates? I heard MDF does not laser cut that well, what was your experience on that? Great video
Fabrique pour moi une guitare basse comme ça
I would like to thank you for sharing one of the most ideas people in guitars building are thinking of. I salute you my friend and keep the great job going please and will support you all the way. Best Regards from ENGLAND 👍👏
Man you just made my day with your comment. Thank you so much. It means a lot to me. I will certainly keep on going. Best regards from Slovenia.
Do you also make custom headless guitars?
I do.
