Sometimes I just have to pull up this scene again and cry because that small smile at the end means it finally happened. Anakin finally got his happy ending. 😭
Kevin Kiner kills it with the score here too. Great scene. I like that Ahsoka knows he's there but she doesn't see him. Anakin just chillin, proud of his Padawan.
no she definitely sees him. they both just look at each other because there isn’t much to say anymore. her training is complete and she doesn’t need him anymore
I am an adult and genuinely teared up watching this. Still gets the waterworks going now. Something so nice about seeing him there with her. Both Anakin and Ahsoka know they can’t forgive Anakin but she still has that thankfulness for his teachings and there’s a mutual respect there that just brings a smile to my face and a tear to my cheek. His slight smile just lets her know that everything will be okay. The music is perfect here. Amazing ending.
Not sure what you mean by that. Anakin returning to the light and becoming a force ghost was his forgiveness, both by the Force itself and him forgiving himself. Ahsoka already forgave Anakin for what had happened, she just had to forgive herself for not being there to stop him from turning
Goosebumps every time. Grew up as a little kid loving Anakin & to now be 26 seeing Hayden return and finally get the love he deserves and seeing Anakin in this scene at peace watching on is pretty special.
Ngl, when she turned around and knew something was there, I could see a moment where she could have said to herself "Thanks, Skyguy." I'm glad we heard Anakin say Snips, but it would have been cool if she said Skyguy at some point, but I loved the music that goes with the scene and then seeing Anakin as a Force ghost was beautiful.
If you hear more cloesly 0:01-0:18, there is a highly significant but brief, subtle musical reference to John Williams’ “Across the Stars,” the love theme for Anakin and Padme’ from Star Wars Episode II: The Attack of the Clones here, which is followed immediately by Sabine’s theme. (To hear the “Across the Stars” fragment, listen to the Ahsoka Soundtrack Vol. 2, Epilogue II front.) While it indicated Sabine did sense Anakin's force ghost, it is also foreshadowing Sabine’s romantic arc in this series involving Ezra. Anakin’s possessive desire for Padme’ and his inability to accept death as part of life ultimately led to his fall to the dark side. This unoffically confirms Ezra and Sabine's romantic future together.
this made me cry. 1 to see hayden come back as anakin and 2 the emotional fight between her and anakin as darth vader. and he redeemed himself. love it so much. they did an amazing job extending anakins pain emotionally, it was more then obi wan and his fight, before then he was training her even though he was not a jedi master, only led to his downfall to the darkside but anakins soul was still there. and yeah... i am canadian and hayden is too and lived in toronto with his parents whom knew my parents best friends who met him way before he became a star. i wanted to meet him but they said he has been away for so long since the prequels
One doubt I have, when Jedis die, do they meet their loved ones who died who are ordinary people or will they only be reunited among the other deceased Jedis?
The true Rise of Skywalker.
Hell Fucking Yeah It Is
Right
Thrawn: That's acceptable.
So true
An acceptable replacement. Mark the screenwriter for a citation.

Not to mention he’s probably as far away from any sand as he can get

Totally agree with you Lord Keanueraine
I think that Ashoka is communicating with him but will get the actual communication happen during season 2
I feel that Anakin and Ahsoka looking at each other without saying each other is just good enough
no she definitely sees him. they both just look at each other because there isn’t much to say anymore. her training is complete and she doesn’t need him anymore
@@PARKERC99she can still talk to him
People saying she couldn’t ever forgive him, but THAT was a look of forgiveness and joy knowing he found peace
of course ahsoka forgives her master. no question about it
Powerful moment love the way the camera moves to reveal Anakin Force Ghost , incredibly emotional
Very powerful! Solid ending.
@@starwarsarchitect starting crying
The peace we all wanted for Anakin
Anakin always watching over his apprentice, whether in life during the clone wars, and beyond the grave.
This makes me kind of emotional, remembering all the tribulation of Anakin and the horrors of Vader, his heroic and tragic story finally ends
anakin maybe not alive, but his adventures as a ghost need to keep to going
#holyghost

A really epic cliffhanger. It was really intense. Force ghost Anakin being the last shot was best way to end the season.

People dont realize rhe significance od this scene we are seeing anakin force ghost after 30 years after return of the jedi ITS A BIG DEAL
HUGE DEAL!
technically its only 5 years after return of the jedi, not 30
I can't beleive we can see more Anakin and Hayden Christensen in the big screen!!! absolutely love every moment with him
Dude I know it’s so epic!
One of the best songs Kevin Kiner has composed. Super emotional and is perfect for this moment.
Ben Solo should have seen Anakin's ghost, too. That way two Skywalker ghosts would motivate Ben and Rey.
But Anakin wouldn’t have known them regardless of Ben being his grandson
@@haydo-9916 So we get Han instead. I get it.
At that moment i cry😢😢😢 perfect ending.
The best ending that could’ve been.

Good point didn’t even think of that. Yeah it would’ve been nice to hear that one.
@@starwarsarchitect thank you. Glad you agree
Would've ruined the scene
SKYWALKER FAM ❤
This is one of those scenes that you let your tears roll
Indeed
Man when l saw Anakin it just made my day
This is the best scene in all of Star Wars it had me in tears.
Anakin: she chose to live.
This Is where the fun begins
I was so happy

Loyalty from way back in 1977. For me, Star Wars will forever be gold. Gave a kid with a shitty family a hope. Thank you, George Lucas.
