I never doubted his willingness to do well, but his temper was a problem, that is true! He was never the leader that Roy Keane was, or the role model that Scholesy was, but still he drove men forward, United were at their attacking best with him on the side. Always pressing opponents.
this is so true. the guy is an extremely talented player. he's got great speed. he can dribble excellently. but his attitude and behaviour is just not acceptable. he dives and he complains way too much. he's talented, and he's one of the best players i've seen...but when you talk about his diving and complaining, he's a disgrace

Cheers mate. I just re-read what i wrote and I realised I made so many spelling mistakes. lol. People overrate Ronaldo because he looks like a superstar imho. Bottom line is that he isn't an intelligent player. He's a good player with ridiculous physical attributes and endurance. He has hardly been injured throuout his whole career which is why I think he manages to play so consistently.

tbh, they made some pretty fair points. All the people who are getting all heated and pissed @ this vid are proving Eamon Dunphy to be correct when he talks about people being blinded by the hype.
Truth is, Ronaldo is not a true legend. He's never cut it in a big and tough game. He fails when it matters and generally has a very poor attitude. He doesn't play for the team and is ball greedy. MESSI BLATENTLY DIVED, LOOKING 4 A PENALTY WHICH IS CHEAP AND PLAIN CHEATING, TRYING 2 GET A PENALTY IN A CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL, AT LEAST RONALDO DIDNT USE ANY CHEAP MOVES LIKE MESSI.

Aye exactly, see the media who promote the premiership obviously need certain players, that are good to help advertise it. top players and top teams very rarely do get critisised. They want to suggest that there are no other players like the players that play in the premiership. Ronaldo is a dive, he always was, and that no matter what way you think about it, is a negative example to kids.

At times i find thats too much from him but what he gives throught out the season is far more promsing and helpful to his team than the odd dive. Which Premiership team do you mean? Having good fitness levels is one thing, but actually having the quality is another. I have no problem with lower league sides whatsoever, in fact I actually have a mate who plays for Colchester (or at least he did, hes recently been loaned out to Chesterfield). I dont doubt the fitness levels of lower league players, but I assure that if they came up against a prem side, they would resort to negative, everybody behind the ball tactics

Anyone, and i mean anyone that says Ronaldo is better than messi is very biased or is clueless about football. I hate barcelona, but even i can see messi is leaps and bound above him. When Ronaldo was at his best, the 07/08 42 goals season, in the two games they were both in, Messi outshone him completely, even though he was injured for 6 weeks.
