That’s an incredible spoon, i thought there was no way you had enough wood on the end of the handle to carve a Raven 🐦⬛. But as usual you have created another masterpiece. Well done Mr Stinnett.
Thank you very much, Kev!
I'd like to thank your daughter for getting you that spoon carving knife! I always love watching, thank you, Mr. Stinnett!
Mike that Raven was talking to you! There's more going on in this world than meets the eye my friend, as I'm sure you're aware. Another great piece too :)
I've had them talk to me quite a few times while out in the woods. They're pretty smart birds. Thank you kindly!
The scoop turned out stunning. The little meticulous details really bring the raven to life. Also, Pearl in her little white sweater! Adorable!!!
There you go! You started making a spoon, and you made a work of art again! It turned out beautifully, Mike, as always. +
Thank you very much, Alexander!
What's not to like, Mike? A great little scoop. I love Pearl's sweater. And it turns out that talent runs in the family. I bet all these make that coffee taste that much better.
Bill
Thank you Bill! I think so. The coffee was great!
What a gift from your brother! That really touched me. Thank you for sharing!
Love your work ! Scratch Pearl behind the ears for me .
WOWWWWW that's a beautiful spoon!
Thanks for showing the creation of it.
Regards from the Netherlands.
🇳🇱
With the skill level at which you work, honestly, using a wood burner is not cheating, it is yet another skill you've mastered!
Wow,what an incredible gift you have sir, they are beautiful 🏴
I’m just a simple 54 year old Iowa fella living vicariously through your amazing wood art, calming demeanor, simple ways, nature, and dog. Wish I had your talent. Well shit, at least I have the dog anyway. Thank you sir for sharing yourself with us. I mean it.
I like that you took suggestions from the birb. Lovely result!
Fantastic as always, Peral is looking quite elegant in her sweater. Keep on carving, from Richfield N.C.
A Rockwell jawhorse is hands down one of the best tools I own. It’s cumbersome to move but incredibly useful.
Totally agree!
As always, your work is at the highest level, Mr. Stinnett
Wonderfu! Once more you've made me feel more relaxed and thankfull. The Spoon and especially the raven looks wonderful! Haha, and I went Ohhwww as Pearl was sitting in your lap with her little warming pullover. Thank You Mike! Greetings form South Germany
Thank you very kindly! I'm glad you enjoyed the video! Pearl really likes her new sweater, haha!
Man, you and that scoop are cooler than all outdoors.

I just came in from some bushcrafting to find this channel.. Funny part is, I am Mr. Stinnette. How cool to stumble on your channel.
That recipe really darkened that raven up. Looks great! What a great touch hanging it on the tree. Great video as always.

Hey Mike looks amazing. The bark on that water Birch almost looks like our black alder .
Yes it does. The two tree grow along side each other here. You can tell the birch by the copper looking sheen the bark has. My next spoon will be made from alder. Thank you, Glen!
i can see the more Art in your hands than your created artistic spoon. ❤
I like how you got your inspiration from the crow 🐦⬛as you was talkin about what you wasn't sure what you was gonna do. Fait has it's way of shinin thru
Great lookin spoon Mr. Mike
Looks like pearl approved
Beautiful work my friend..My neighbor used to carve .I wished a million times over I had learned from him but I was a dumb teenager...
Thank you, Jeff! I just learned by practicing. I'm sure you could learn to carve.
I want to thank you for sharing this video with us.the Crow 🐦⬛ spoons is awesome.i Love it. The coffee was looking good to so I just made a pot..have a great day Sir.
You are very welcome, Timothy! Thank you! The coffee was good!
This is one of the most badass things that I've ever seen.
Immaculate talent that nobody could buy. A life very well lived while you're carving a spoon and your dog, the little sweater wearing cutie pie is on your lap. That's what life is all about you know. You've won it. You've achieved what people with hundreds of millions of dollars try every day to do. This whole video screams contentment, talent, and appreciation for the things that life has given us and what we've had to make for ourselves in order to do what we need and what we want.
If I had to describe this video in one word, and one word only.
It would be balanced.
Amazing raven! You and your craftsmanship inspired me to start woodcarving and I hope to be as great as you someday 😊👍
You love challenging yourself and so do I because I can watch these videos all day!! ❤️🪵
We have big Crows here in Fargo, but i don't think I've ever seen a Raven here.... I wish we had them!
Thank you for making and sharing your videos... You bring peace to a chaotic world...
Wish we had crows here
@@piperatthegatesofdawn Where is "here"?

First video I see from this channel, and I already love this man. So skilled and relaxed. I really enjoyed watching!

Meine Fähigkeiten scheitern schon am funktionellen Löffel 😱
This randomly popped up on my you tube and i have to say that was amazing . You just got another subscriber

Wunderschöne Handwerkskunst!
Weiter so 👍 💪 🇩🇪 !!!
Excellent, you are the genies, the great artist. I watch all your videos always
Thank you kindly!
Pearl approved and she's the cutest steady rest ever or nuisance if you prefer..🐾
Mike, love it, turned out amazing. Nice to see you taking the path less travelled and experimenting with trying to use only knives/hand tools. Absolutely 100% the biggest thing is learning how to not cut yourself with those sharp carving knives/tools.
Your brother may have inspired me to finally do something with the 10lbs of clay I bought last year, actually bought it to make my own mug as most are too small, but too many ideas of how to do that floating around, best to keep it simple I guess.
Thank you very much! I really enjoy carving with knives, but, man, it takes a lot longer to do a project! I could have made several raven spoons with power tools in the same time, haha!
You should check out some videos on primitive pottery firing methods. If I wasn't a carver I probably would be a potter.
Hahaha, yup I can imagine, kind of like only using hand tools to do wood working/build furniture, but oh the reward of knowing that you did it all by hand, the skill required and patience.
Will definitely check out the primitive firing, because I don't have a kiln, although have seen some simple methods for making one out of an old drum.
You are the sickest wood csrver I have seen in my life all of your work is pure art. I wish I can own one of them.
Thank you!
Very nice coffee scoop! And love the raven you added to the scoop. Great job!
Thank you very kindly!
you can tell by the way he uses the tools that he is a master at what he does.
Thank you! I try to not cut myself. It takes a lot of careful practice.
That's brilliant. I love corvids. Such intelligent birds.
Hey 👋 Mike!!! I love how you say, "I'm going to use my wood burner and "cheat" a little bit"😂 you still amaze me with your creations my good friend. It may be just a spoon but to me it's a work of art for sure!!! and I like Miss Pearl's sweater😄 take care and God Bless my friend. Jay.
Thank you, Jay! My wife made the sweater. Pearl is really proud of it, haha!
Mike, that was a true pleasure to watch. Great work. And I got to say, I like your dog, too. :)
Thank you very much!
I absolutely love your work ❤❤
Thank you very much!
Nicely calming video. I’m learning a lot about just letting things go and focusing on the task at hand watching. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it, Bob!
Wow. Just wow thats so beautiful. Thanks for sharing
Beautiful as always brother! ♥
Thank you!
Gosh, Mike,
I am really enjoying the way you use natural ways of colouring your carvings. I was intrigued when you started doing it and I am still intrigued. Ilove the way you made that Raven black. It looks really nice. (^_^)
I hope you enjoyed the weekend and I wish you a great week ahead.
Warm hugs sent to you, my friend.
Liz.
Thank you very much, Liz!
I'm really glad I found out about the ammonium chloride. It chars the wood nicely. I think I will find a lot of uses for it.
God bless you Liz, and have a great week!
How wonderful, i am so fond of ravens, such clever birds, they kept me alerted of neighbourhood cats when i was trying to help a baby squirrel last year because they knew i would say thank you but realistically i knew it was for the dried suet and mealworms, well they earned it, God Bless you
Great video. I’m going to carve a tribal mask soon. You videos got me into it
Gorgeous!!
Wow! Beautiful!
Wow, you boys are full of talent.
Beautiful spoon ! The bird is amazing !
Thank you very much, Aldo!
Love watching your work enjoyed
Thank you!
Hugs from Portugal,⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐for you.
Thank you kindly!
Hi, Mike. Seems you have a very talented family, the cup is a little gem. Thanks for another fine video upload. All the best from Tassie, Australia.
Yes, my brother Dan is really talented. You're very welcome, Rod! Thank you!
That was really wonderful
Beautifully done 👏
Wow! Just amazing
Love that you responded to the raven’s request! ☺️
You have mastered your snake carvings and they are the very best. I also like to see you either power carve or hand tool carve other things like this Raven spoon. You are a natural master at carving and we love to see you start from a piece of limb or block of wood and finish with an animal or bird. Keep these videos coming we appreciate your carving skill.
Thank you very much, Tom!
Oh this is incredible! What a talent you have Sir.
Thank you!
Oh my heart! How lovely ❤
