I don't agree with it being cheap. It's expensive if you want to eat healthy. At least in my country fruit and vegetables are really expensive, same for tofu and all kinds of meat-like products. That's why poor folks rather buy a salami pizza or some chicken, because those have a lot of calories for little money. The only thing that can be cheap is rice and oil, but that's certainly not good for you.
And how is vegan cooking easy? Popping a pizza into the oven is much more quick and simple than cooking anything vegan. I cook vegan most days and it takes a lot of time. And "no excuses" is also untrue. Some people have a serious disease like myself, they can only eat very few foods. Should they die to save the animals? My own blood protein levels are really low, I can't eat soy, beans, lentils, seitan etc. So should I stop eating the only source of (animal) protein I'm allowed to have?

I remember Hench mentioning how in retrospect he would have up'd his fibre intake a bit more steadily from day one, but you guys jumped right in but stuck to beans on toast for a while, so I'm guessing the mentor will lay out the best bet for steady fibre uptake, and the benefits of digestive boosting apple cider vinegar (alway diluted, I table spoon vinegar, 1:4 water, for anyone reading afresh). I've also viewed Joey mention this topic, I was like him with one thing, trying to glug a good volume of veggie goodness from a newly acquired blend your health kick blender, well actually I had a jumbo straw, but like Joey said also, it was just a bit too much, too soon, and I wasn't ready for much fresh greens. Should have just stuck to soup more. Love my little NutriBullet 1200 model, I lightly steam my kale, roughly chop it, and just buzz it up with some water in there no problem. I also use this cup blender to grind whole flaxseed (so good for me and my dog). I worked out that if you fill a 20oz Bodum storage jar up the the base of the silicon grip mark, this is the ideal amount form this Nutribullet model to process, it still slows the blender down after 7/8 seconds, but you can hear the motor work a bit and know when to stop. Anyway, I get my flaxseed /Linseed from BuyWholefoodsonline.co.uk and keep in the freezer, thickening up things like watery kale blend is what I do, then flavour up with garlic, paprika, spices etc to your liking and have it to the side of some soup (or what have you) still cool and fresh with goodness. My other one proud investment is this spoon, ....wait, wait, hear me out. Scoop honeydew melon, butternut squash seeds and or course an avocado, but really just have a better time holding a perfectly practically sized meal spoon which I use oh so often. And just to mention, I'm not tied to the company in any way, but here it is: Genuine Table/Serving Spoon Made In Sheffield England!. They make them with white or black handles, just ask. The problem is the vast majority dont realise how there killed and others dont care but its been ingrained in peoples phyique for centuries to the point were they dont think about it , i dont personally eat meat becsuse i dont like it , but mel and steves videos got me thinking about animal agriculture so i looked it up and was shocked because its full of morally wrong practices.
I think the first woman didn't have the wrong idea, just wasn't the one you wanted. People are only willing to shift their behavior as much as they are comfortable with. I think some times you should enjoy the small victories, because that might be all you get.
True but its difficult for people who are passionate about a subject. It took me 2 years to go vegan from initially thinking about it. However that was without seeing the footage, it was the footage that was the final determining factor.

Wouldn't it be better for animals and the environment if you ate locally produced grass reared meat, free range eggs and dairy? An entire family could eat for a year off one cow. That's one animal dead per year per family and little if any ecological damage vs the massive impact of your lifestyle.
