I've watched all the walking dead episodes before including the spinoffs but I'm even getting sick of her all over again. She keeps doing stupid stuff daily and cries "I've learned my lesson I'm sorry" then she does something worse the very next day😂
The whole claustrophobia thing with Carol is something Daryl remembered from all the way back in the Season 1 finale When they were in the CDC’s elevator she quickly mentioned how she was claustrophobic. Nice little callback there.
The thing about cave ins is that everything doesn't just fail - weaker material falls, rocks and debris crumble, there are different sizes of detritus and all factor in the survivability of people trapped within and beneath. You'll probably die because of asphyxiation rather than getting crushed. Maybe blood loss or infection if you get a severe bone break. Lots of variables involved and that's why if there is a mine cave in or building collapse in real life we don't just give up and chalk up everyone as dead - we start digging for survivors.
17:24 This scene where Negan asks Alpha if this is a “praying mantis” moment where she’s gonna cut his head off is actually a nod to the comics In the comics, Negan kills alpha by seducing her and then cutting off her head when she lets her guard down.
Honestly when the episode itself is very dark, the best thing to do it turn off your lights. I get you guys film but I think we’ll still be able to see y’all just fine- and it’ll be a lot easier for yall to see what’s going on
Carol messed up and I hate that she got both of them killed but she did so much for the community overall that I don’t know why so many people started hating carol after this episode
I see a lot of people say Siddiq dying means Carl died for nothing but I disagree Carl’s death is what made Rick believe in his vision of the united communities if it wasn’t for that they wouldn’t be as strong as they are now Negan would be dead Siddiq wouldn’t have had Coco Carl’s death was about so much more than Siddiq.
He also trained Enid into being a doctor, and by doing that Aaron was saved from his accident with his arm, and also when Siddiq and Enid were at the fair for the communities they had basically a little booth open teaching many other people medical training, like in the scene you can hear them talking about CPR. So many other people have a good base knowledge of some medical care.
It’s interesting to see Daryl and Carol’s dynamic so off balance right now this is the biggest conflict we’ve seen between these two Daryl was heated there at the end about what happened to Connie and Magna couldn’t even say anything to her and just pointed. Also Kelly Jerry and Aaron were MVP’s this episode and Negan sure did make an interesting choice to Canoodle with Alpha.
As a teenager I thought I understood why tv and movies have "intimate" scenes. As an adult I can't wrap my head around it, which makes me wonder who they are making these scenes for when underage people aren't meant to see it and adults don't care...
Negan allowing a woman who wears rotting dead skin on her face to get it from him without much hesitation has forever made me question his standards after the sanctuary and his wives were lost 😂
It’s a chaotic moment so just in case you probably missed it When Carol was on the edge about to fall and die she reached for a dynamite stick and accidentally dropped it down into the hoard which shook the cave and caused it to collapse THEN as the cave was collapsing two Whisperers decided to attack Magna and Connie from behind separating them from the group There was a bag of dynamite on the ground and when the cave collapsed it hit the dynamite which caused the explosion.
And THIS is the episode where i completely stopped enjoying the show. There was no more consistency with the characters. Since when was Carol careless? She has always been patience, conniving, keen, calcilating, scheming. This writting, did not portray the Carol we know. Besides her being selfish and careless in this episode, she did so, while being claustrophobic. COME ON! GIVE ME A BREAK! This show USE TO BE one of the best written, and best acted shows in the history of shows. Too bad it didnt finish on that note.
@totesmegoatscrystal9688 Bs. Losing Henry made her want revenge. She would have drawn on her skills to accomplish that goal. What would have changed, is how she felt guilty over killing. Even though every single kill, in her eyes, was self defense. THAT is what would have changed. There is no way she would have become careless. That is not Carol. And losing a child would not make you careless. She would have gone against the group, for her revenge. But she would have gotten it. Besides all this, NO ONE EVER, has been in a panic attack from a phobia, and went further I to the situation that is the phobia. The entire episode of Carol's story was straight non sense.

nah i remember the first time i watched this episode thinking jerry was gone for sure 😭😭
Carol’s claustrophobia is a callback to Season 1 at The CDC when she told Dr Jenner she’s claustrophobic.
Yeah in a show about zombies, Jerry cheating death is the most unrealistic thing in the whole series.
Dude’s got more lives than a f*cking cat! 😂
Carol was going thru it this season, especially this episode. The hate she got from the fandom after this episode was WILD
I didn't have hate for her. I had hate for the show writtera, producers and show runner. This was completely against her chara ter.

I can't believe our original series journey is getting close to the end! I hope y'all will be doing the spinoffs!!!
Every episode in the second half is significant with huge moments.

Losing kids changes people. Sophia's death made her stronger, Liz and mica made her brutal and Henry made her careless.
