I love how they cast JDM's real wife for Lucille. It felt so real because the love is real. damn this episode was good.
And I read that because they cast Hilarie as Lucille they were able to do the scenes they did between them because casting someone that Jeffrey wasn't in a quarantine bubble with would have changed things because of filming guidelines due to Covid. So we got a better episode because they cast her.
Finally see Peyton Sawyer as a Zombie lol, Hillarie did an amazing job.
They're Gonna Have their Son in the Next Season Episode 5 but He's Gonna be a Zombie
You know I always appreciate little things like that, when an actor who's married or going steady with someone actually brings their partner into the show with them rather than cast another random actor for the love interest. It really speaks to their commitment to the other person and helps their chemistry.
Like the Chris Hemsworth interview about one of the Thor kisses "okay here are all of these actresses, which one would you like to kiss for the scene?"

The fact that Jeffery Dean Morgan's wife plays Lucile really makes this episode a million times better than it already is. The chemistry is so real and authentic.

Because in The Walking Dead Survival Instinct Merle Had a Gang Called The Savage Sons Motorcycle club and what If Merle Didn't kill them all and a Few escaped and these guys that captured Negan were those few that escaped

I loved Negan from the start. I thought Ricks group deserved a couple deaths after they slaughtered 30+ of Negans men in their sleep when the Saviors had never done anything to them. I've hated Rick at times, but never Negan. Glenn and Abe deserved their deaths. Love both of them still though.

Would I be mad at Negan for getting justice for the 40+ people they murdered, no. The group got off easy with him only intending to kill one of them. Daryls the reason Glenn died. That wasn't Negans plan or intent going in to it. Daryl forced him by attacking him.

The smile at the end............He's burnt Lucille meaning he knows it's time to move on and I think he now understands Maggies pain, I think he's ready to die and knows the only way he can "give back" so to speak it to have Maggie kill him - the smile is his way of trying to provoke her into doing that.....

I think its because he knows that he's won either way, either she'll kill him and he will be reunited with Lucille, or she'll let him live and he'll be able to go back to how he was before maggie came back

This episode honestly made me cry bc I felt so bad for Negan. It’s always the bad people who had really tough shit in their life that changed them. Negan lost the love of his life and he was trying to keep her alive longer. Just seeing him cry is honestly heart breaking.

I just saw this episode yesterday and my mouth was wide open when he gave that speech. It’s like his negan persona was to deal with his grief.
I could watch nothing but Negan forming the Saviors over time up to the point where the Survivors encountered them and I'd be perfectly happy with a whole series of that.
I was hoping they'd order a pizza and Glenn would show up and deliver to them.

Oh my god, i love watching this reactions.. from the day i found out that there was a person compiling all these reactions, i never stopped watching, and i always wait for new reactions. Watching this video made me happy because i found out how they reacted and some people reacted just like me especially in this episode.
I dont kno if anyone noticed in the episode but when negans wife was in the car and turned the radio on after u hear the announcement that the dead are eating people she turns to another station and u can hear the song theme from the original return of the living dead movie. At least Negan didn't kill people in their sleep or executed people that had already surrendered. Or burned people alive because they roughed up his son. Or went on a vigilante's murder spree. Or stabbed people in the back that had saved his life like 10 seconds before
Negan may have pulled some messed up shit but the others weren't much better. They just get a pass because "they did what they had to do."
