I was just about to use my track saw to cut a tapered jamb but you know...I really like the way you cut it using a table saw. Nice work!
Thanks! I’ve done it with my track saw many times. I find the table saw method to be a little more accurate.
I like how you nailed in on the opening , most videos they make a box out of the pine on the floor then bring it up to the window which seems harder to make plumb.
I’ve done it both ways. But if precision is important then I find nailing it in place works best.
Good stuff but you didn't mention at the adjustable square the beginning when listing the tools.
Good call! Sometimes these videos get filmed over a few days and things get lost.
It would be helpful to have a couple of close-up shots of the edges and corners to see what it's supposed to look like.
