- Опубліковано 2 жов 2024
- Today we will continue in Endler's Livebearer series, and as last couple of videos have been about strains from class K - guppy hybrids, I have decided to mix it up a little bit and prepared video about another wild strain from class N. El Tigre are an amazing strain with great story, and definitely belong to fish room to every endler or guppy nerd. Once again, thanks to Ján Kristín for letting me film in his fish room, if you guys wanna check what other types of endless he keeps here is the link to his web-page: www.endlerky.eu

Hi Pat, these beautiful P.endler El Tigre excellent information and explanations of this species ... you have a beautiful colony. I signed up, I also have a channel that deals with aquariums and tropical fish.
Best regards
Marco
@Marco Isidori thank you very much, I really appreciate your support, and I will definitely check your channel as well :)
@@undersurfacechannel thank you very much my friend! Have a nice day.
Absolutely amazing video. Did not know there was other location than Campoma or Cumana 😊 thank you for sharing!
@Guppy George thank you very much! Well, endlers are super cool species with lots of surprises :)
Great info 👍🏼
I always thought that they were called El Tigre because the stripes lol. Thanks for opening my eyes
Thank you for your comment 😊
Another fantastic video, and on my favorite "strain" of Poecilia wingei . Thanks Again Pat!
@Dachsjager thank you very much for your support! I really appreciate it :) I am glad El Tigre is one of your favourite strains, I really enjoy these little guys too.
@@undersurfacechannel Sure wish I could locate "El Tigre Creek" on my map of Venezuela though. Curious regarding the geographic relationship to Cumana & Campoma drainage systems.
Dachsjager I am absolutely with you on this. There is such limited data on all of this, I wish we would be able to know much more about this amazing species... Hope by time and maybe interest of more people we can also get a bit more information 😊👌🏻
I've been looking everywhere in England for these beautiful fish. No luck! Do you know anyone who can sell in or to England? I've got a paludarium waiting to stock.
@Jim I know a person who breed Endlers in UK, I may find out whether he also sells El Tigre, or would you also be interested in other strains? If not, I am travelling to UK quite often for Fancy Guppy Shows so I may bring some over in worst case :)
@@undersurfacechannel Absolute gentleman, that would be awesome. Although I imagine that it will sadly be a while till the next guppy event or any event here in the UK because of the pandemic. If you could ask you're guy that would be amazing, I've really got my heart set on El Tigre but have you got any other recommendations?
Jim Yes exactly, does not seem very good with upcoming shows 😓 El Tigre are amazing. There are also other cool strains but I’ll try to find these for you!
Jim I have at least 1 breeder who has them in UK maybe I’ll even find more. Where are you located? You can contact me on patsfishtanks@gmail.com so I’ll give you contact on breeders and all details 😊👌🏻
@@undersurfacechannel Your a legend! Just sent you a email. Cheers
😍😍 Another nice video! Thanks
Tom Lee Thank you very much! 😊
Thank you very much Patrik! It was my great honor to work with you!
Ján Kristín Always pleasure to co-operate with you my friend. Thank you very much! 😊
What a beautiful colony mate!
Pure Shrimp Cheers mate! 😊
Greetings you sell them you make shipments to Florida I'm interested
@Hector L Muñoz hello, I personally don't usually sell my fish, and as I am based in Europe they would most likely not survive such a long trip. You have the best Endlers breeder in the world based in Florida though (Adrian Hernandez), so if you want, get this strain from him. He is original preservationists of this strain :)
@@undersurfacechannel ok tanks
@@hectorlmunoz6955 You're welcome :)
Endlers are some of my favorite !
Langen and Animals Thank you for your comment, yea definitely I absolutely love Endlers as well 😊👌🏻
They can only be N class if registered with Adrian Hernandez otherwise they are named by location documented as caught at. There has been a lot of mixing in wild strains now so that it would take a genetic test to prove if they are pure Wingei or not.
Ok, I did not know that. I know that for fact this breeder bought it as pure wild line and is keeping it pure and selectively breeding for the original pattern. Of course majority of breeders call it "class N". Although data is describing class N as fish that's origin can be reliably tracked back to their native waters. I am not sure if this includes all the breeders the fish went through, or just origin, but origin would make more sense to me :) But would definitely like to know more about this Craig. Thank you for your comment! :)
Craig Winans is Adrian Hernandez's the founder of Swamp River Aquatics the first conservation project?
I have also seen the Endlers Shop has a registry. Other sources have also used the term N class I to would like to know more... Cheers !
@Tom Lee, I am currently in touch with Adrian Hernandez... he promised to explain everything to me... So I'll try to do more videos about everything about what I'll learn :)
@@undersurfacechannel Thanks for the follow up!
I have a colony of these little beauties myself, but despite changing my water temperature I cannot seen to get any male fry at the moment
@runefang78 wau, that is really interesting... I've heard some roomers that temperature may have some effect on the gender, but having no males at all in the drops, I hear that for the first time :) Looking forward to see you during the weekend mate!
Pat's Fish Tanks I will be bringing my El Tigre and black bars this weekend
@@runefang78 I may bring "Galaxy Tigers (Class K)" but few people think they are 100% guppies so maybe I'll end up signing them up for guppy show :D will be bringing my main pair for show of Lazuli Blue guppies... hope it'll do well :)
Are they hybrid?
@ツtake the risk they are supposed to be natural form, but nowadays you never know :)
Where part of the world you live in?
@pigeonsontraining I am located in Northern Europe :)
@@undersurfacechannel far away from me, can't deliver fish to USA
Do you know anyone in the USA who sells those fish
Hi- how old are the males when they develop color? One male is beautiful and the other only has two dots of color.
