Fun video, especially the intro! I made the mistake of buying a mini disc player back in the day, but it was a nice little device. And I remember when Zip Drives were big. I used them for work but I didn't know many people who used them at home. And the problem with jogging with portable CD players was not the size at all. It was the skipping disc. I remember the first time I saw someone put one of those in a car, it would skip every time he hit a small bump in the road. But that got better of course. Eventually that same guy had a huge preloaded carousel of CDs in his trunk so that he could hit a button on his dashboard and choose between 20 - 50 or so CDs. Now we can carry that much music in a key pocket in a pair of jeans. Mind blowing to me how much technology changes.
Right! … it advances so fast…and how quickly we get accustomed to the new normals! Oh yea, I totally meant both size & skipping was the ill of running with CD’s. I remember when I borrowed a CD player with skip protection for the first time when I was like 13… I just walking around and tapped on it to see how much force was needed to get the skip. 😂😂
This channel should be bigger for its production quality.
You Flatter Me, feel free to spread the word ☺️☺️☺️☺️💪🏼

Thank you!!! 😊 👏🏽
I was there for it. Beta tapes still play to this day... but VHS was throwaway cheap... 🤷
No doubt…. Cheap & easy seemed to catch our eye. 👁️
@@GeneralBuckles I was a beta holdout for years even as a teen. VHS Tapes popped sooo easily and quality was horrible...
@@CX3Productions there’s a reddit thread I think that still celebrates it
@@GeneralBuckles I ran across them. They are hardcore :-)
