You're the only UA-camrs I've seen who not only thank the staff, but namecheck them as well. Others say things like "the staff were great", but I don't recall anyone else actually thanking them. This is at least the 2nd video where I've noticed that. Maybe more. It's a really nice touch and another reason why your videos are so enjoyable.
Hi guys, another interesting vlog, you fooled us at the end though as my husband & I were both saying here they go back to the cabin to order food and you did not we were both laughing.
That painted rainbow flag on the sidewalk is typical of Icelandic cities. They’re a country that protects human rights. When you talk to locals, you’d know how deep their commitment is to the dignity of all people. Might I suggest, traveling to a new country is more about the culture than the sights. Even in a small town, I get someone to walk around with me talking about their life, hopes, and dreams. In fact, I tell them to think of me as their auntie, who’s visiting for the first time and show me what they love. Those amazing people share extraordinary things with me. I’m humbled by their lives and the world they let me peek into. I sail away a better human being because of the world they shared with me.
May I make a suggestion to improve the viewing experience? Instead of talking off tour, include your discussion points as your walking around (During the tour) We do want to hear your 1st experience chatter, not the thought out how do we define our tour :-) .. i.e. don’t cut away to a discussion then go to the scene then cut away again. Do the chat at the same time as your doing the tour.. It would add tremendously to the viewing experience. Live is better than after the fact comment.. it’s ok to make some additional after the fact comments or make them before you start the tour or just after to update us on things that you might have said live that you wanted to update? Just a thought.. quite enjoying the VLOG but keep asking myself why aren’t they taking us on the tour?
Hi Rob thanks for your comments! We appreciate the feedback, we have only been vlogging for a very short while and any and all feedback is great! 👍 We will definitely try and take it onboard and improve! 😀
