@@kattaoulie924 Hi! As long as your livers aren't hurting, you can try drinking lots of water and changing your underwear when twice or thrice a day! Wear loose underwear and bottoms when possible !
Rmb to wipe after peeing! But its best to go to the docs if pain is constant (eg a week and liver starts to hurt!) .
Do let your parents know! So they can bring you! Uti is actually very common infection! Most women will get it!
Initially for me it hurt to walk, drink water and sit! (mine was through poop particles entering my urinary tract as I had a bad diarrhea before that!)

I was diagnosed with this last night in the ER following an urgent care visit on Feb 28th 2023, the left one however was far worse, I went in complaining of back pain and high fever (104F orally). Had blood drawn 2x, 2x urine samples, CT scan with contrast, tons of docs tapping around on my back, EKG 2x, temp, pulse etc. I do have panic disorder but my BP remained 112/74 yet at its worst my pulse was 146!!
I had no UTI (was able to pee just fine, no blood, was hydrated, all seemed normal in terms of toilet usage) so they were very confused, they tested for pneumonia, flu, covid, all which was cleared so they went a bit nuts on the blood tests and sent me to the University ER with actual docs not nurses (nothing against them- but one of them told me I was likely going to die of pulmonary embolism since I recovered from covid and they misread X-rays that MDs later looked at and concluded my lungs and heart are fine, and the nurses at the UC told me I may literally die due septic shock based on my EKG and xrays- which a MD looked at and said it's actually perfectly fine and if anything indicates kidney issues along with a new blood and urine test.
I had covid + was fully vaccinated, but tested positive Feb 9th and have been negative since the 18th, it is now march 1 2023. So could it be that I had a rarer case that was caused by another viral infection in my body such as covid? you mentioned in the very first part of the video that it can be spread through blood. considering no UTI was detected, but they did find an infected kidney in the urine apparently.
I'm not nauseous, vomiting, no incontinence. They had me on fluids and sent me home with 2x a day ciproflaxin. I'd say the pain renders me motionless 60% of the time especially bedtime. I try to use heat only now that I know its not just a pulled muscle. Ibuprofen was useless but I did take it when I thought it was a pinched nerve. Tylenol helped much better. I had a 104F fever the night before I went to the ER and they said my white blood cell count was around 27,000 so does that mean that mine was very bad? After all, they send me home with one dose of ciproflaxin and one liter of IV hydration already administered ,and I'm going to take the antibiotics twice daily for 5 days.
I've heard 14 days was more common, but I have gripes and concerns with antibiotics like yeast infections which I made clear. Is this perhaps why they shortened it, or would this just suggest my case was non-lethal?
Any day to day finctioning and positioning tips? I find it very hard to get comfortable, I am a left side sleeper and my left kidney is the main culprit by far so is that making it worse?

My problem is that I'm relatively resistant to pain, I didn't even notice it at first and since yesterday I've been writhing in pain, have fever and a strong urge to urinate. I went to the doctor today, it's a kidney infection, I've already taken antibiotics and paracetamol, I'm very dizzy, have to drink a lot and keep my kidneys warm.. hopefully I’ll get better soon!🥺

I was just discharged from the hospital with flank pain. Was told CT scans and ultrasound normal. I’m on antibiotics for a UTI. In 2018 I had an infected ureter travel up into my kidney and it ruptured. It was an immediate emergency. I have the same pain that happened right before the rupture but the doctors said my labs and scans are normal and I am very worried. I know the pain is my kidney because I have felt this pain before. No stones, cysts, fibroids. 38 female.

I believe this is what lead to my mother's death just before Christmas.
She was on Macrobid for a UTI.
She had been sick twice in one day and collapsed while waljing her to bed.
I got her to A+E,I told the Dr I was worried about sepsis,he said mothers blood test was clear and she was just dehydrated.
She was put on a drip and we were sent home.
Less than 48 hrs later, exactly the same scebario But this time my mothers poor heart didnt recover from the blood pressure dropping.
It was very distressing to see her that way.
The only solace is I was with her holding her hand.when she went.
My mother's Gp said she was surprised no urine sample was taken drom my mother in the hospital ..also ahe said my mother's white blood cell count was raised from the A+E report.
I think my mother would be alive today if they had done more tests and kept her in.
I have written to the hospital complaints dept and await their response.

Please give me an answer for this. Think you have helped a person. I had UTI on 22 July. I had pain in urethra, vomitted once, frequent urination, abdominal pain, small fever.
Then after taking Augmentin antibiotics it turned in to normal a bit. But again it started due to stress at work, I couldn't consume more water. Then doctor gave me Ciprobid antibiotic. Now urethral pain is okay but occasionally there is a pain near kidney. What should I do. Sri Lankan doctors are sometimes very careless. Once when I went to the clinic that OPD doctor said to another peer doctor who was near her she doesn't understand my situation and check me. I went to him he also didn't care much finally I ended up with the previous lady doctor and she wrote the medications I should consume. I don't know what to do they were very rude too. This is very depressing 😭😭😭😭😭

I had pyelonephritis recently and I wasn’t aware of how serious it was so I waited about a week or week and a half to go to the emergency room and I developed fever and all that but I also had got this unbelievable unbearable headache like I have a high tolerance to pain and this headache interfered with my daily activities and I wasn’t able to take care of my kids I had to have my parents help me with my two kids the headache I had was indescribable I wouldn’t be able to put into words the amount of pain I was feeling. It was like someone had scorching hot ice picks and slowly stuck them into my brain in different spots and then yanked them out and then got them scorching hot again and inserted them back into my brain but into different spots is the best was I can describe it but even that doesn’t fully explain the pain from that headache … so my question is why? How come I got that headache that was that bad but it’s not listed on the symptoms anywhere I’ve looked. After I started taking the antibiotics the headache went away but I accidentally missed a nightly dose of my antibiotics and the headache came back but as soon as I took the next dose it went away. So does anyone else get a headache like that or what was up with that? My ER doctor didn’t ever answer when I asked him he just ignored it and went on to talk about whatever else

I’ve just been dealing with a similar experience. For me the pain wasn’t just in my head either, it spread throughout my entire body. The worst agony I’ve ever experienced in my life. What we were dealing with here is actually the early signs of oncoming sepsis (blood poisoning). This is so easy to allow to happen if you ignore the less-obvious symptoms such as frequent urination, back pain and nausea - like I did. Thankfully I got to a doctor on time and I’m being treated with antibiotics now, and I’m due to go back for a checkup tomorrow to ensure my bloods are doing ok. I hope you’re alright after this horribly frightening experience.

My first blood analysis that i did last year in December showed kidney stones. I have 25 years old and i took medication for kidney stones. The problem didnt go away the pain was the same. A month passed because it takes a long time to get investigated, making an appointment etc. I still had the same pain. I went for another blood analysis and urine analysis. I had no kidney stones. Now i have over 100,000 bacteria of the same type. Then i took medication for bacterial infection. It went better during that period of taking antibiotics. After the antibiotics finished i started having the same symptoms and pain so then i took the same medication for another 5 days (previously 7 day treatment). My 5 day period ended yesterday. Today the symptoms came back and the same pain is back. The problem started in December last year and now its March 2022.What do i do now?

@@Matt-bm6vy My problem is fixed because after the antibiotics period ended. i started eating healthier. low sugar products low protein products. Because these were affecting my kidney. Not because of bacteria or the antibiotics. I just needed to eat healthier so the kidneys could recover. Now i feel a lump when i touch my back side where the right kidney is and when i touch it, its a sharp pain but other than that i feel good.

Almost same timing as I been going through. But one doctor finding blood in my urine didn't give me antibiotics. Had ultrasound no stones anywhere. I had flank pain went to ER doctor thought I had spasms because of no health insurance he didn't want to make any exams but prescribed pills for spasms. I got side effects with those so stopped taking them. 4 months passed I went to ER to the next city. Doctor prescribed antibiotics. Symptoms were gone while on pills. Now sometimes I get this achey back pain seem coming from kidney kidney. I do get chills or my feet get cold. Idk what to do you keep going round and round getting nowhere.

I am currently healing from inflammation of the kidney and unfortunately it started exactly on the same day as my period. Because I was having huge body temperature (40°C) and from all the exhaustion, I literally lost my period in the first few days, later when I started to feel better my period slowly came but not as much as when I'm healthy. So yeah it definitely effects it. Cuz your body is already drained and has no strength for period above all. Hope youre well 💗
