I think it’s because the market segments they sell to… see Android and Samsung as “alternative goods” and not as desirable as Apple. It’s stupid, but Android as a whole (at least in the US) still is considered the “poor man’s smartphone OS”. Google Pixels are changing that public perception slowly, though, especially when they take demonstrably better photos than iPhones.

Except Ferrari had to bend for the changing market in order to keep making sports cars, the same as Porsche or Lamborghini. It's a diversification. Samsung on the other hand completely ditched any identity it had.

Samsung has been going downhill on design, specs and price for the past 2-3 years. Everything has been just iterative or adopt the worst aspects of Apple, yet charging same or more.
The fact that now they are copying Apple on model lineups and design cues, it is like they are going back to their early 2010s dark age of being knock off Apple. It is sad.
I think Nothing, Pixel (sometimes) and Moto are creating more exciting devices in Android.

Honestly, Samsung advertising themselves based entirely on "being better than apple" yet doing the exact same things but worse. It has the same vibes as the escobar fold phones being literally just reskinned Samsung zfolds, yet them saying that "Samsung is dead"
That's been samsung's thing forever. To the point where they delete old youtube videos mocking Apple, while doing the exact same thing the next year.
They lost that the moment they removed the sd card slot for expandable storage... Just like apple did.

So glad I'm still rocking the Watch 5 Pro and the Samsung Buds 2 Pro. No point in upgrading to these. So disappointed that they changed their earphone design and the Ultra watch doesn't have a rotating bezel. WTF 😢

Crazy how foldables have been there for SIX years and rarely do I see foldables IRL.
I have a zfold 3 personally and even with a really good case, using it everyday, multiple times a day, absolutely ruined the inner screen. And the outer screen was even more fragile.If the materials for the z fold 6 are dang near identical, I can imagine the inner screen would be absolutely shredded in a year or so.
They are expensive and fragile little toy. Only nerds buy it

I have had the fold 3 since launch. Apart from replacing the inner screen protector (Yes, it did piss me off!) I've had no issues. It's absolutely perfect for me.

Glad you pointed out how much wider the Fold 6 is, as a fold 4 user that + the weight reduction is tempting.
i like that older galaxy buds accessories are compatible across their models. doesn't matter if you have the bean, pro, fe, gen 1 or gen 2, the cases are all the same.

The Buds 3 look really cool! I feel like a lot of stuff has oversimplified design language these days, but the Buds 3 have all sorts of cool things going on!
I like the window, the light strips, the colors, really nice!
I feel like Marquez didn't do the differences/improvements justice just because he's seen too many of the folds/flips and seems to have a bias for novelty.
These improvements and refinements add up to something worthwhile, even compared to just the most recent model before it. It's likely not enough of a reason to upgrade but it's enough of a reason to know Samsung is doing real work and to choose one over the other.
Really loved the previous design was comfortable
The fold makes sense for more screen real estate, but I’m not sure what the practical purpose of the flip is. 🤔
I just like flip phones, to be honest. The fact that it can also be used while closed is a huge plus too, phones are too big nowadays.

Samsung Flip is the only one that makes sense. Compact and powerful. Feels futuristic
Nah the moto razr ultra is simply the better device for cheaper. I'm so done with Samsung providing just incremental updates and increasing the price every year.

Huge fan of the new Ultra watch design. The circle within a squircle reminds me of my Panerai...also an hommage to the general squircle app shape on Samsung phones.. The Flip 6 looks much better than before the making it shorter and wider makes this much better and more useful imo..

I love the galaxy ai. I use it all the time, especially the rewrite and the summary features. They are also fast and therefore very usable.

I am guessing they use xMEMS speaker as tweeter in the buds pro, they are not copying apple as you see just the outside. It's actually groundbreaking sound technology. People always judge from the outside without actually understand the components in it, including those so called tech UA-camr when they don't know tech at all.

Samsung should definitely bring Buds Live 2. Its the most comfortable headphone design with a lot of spatial awareness built into it, without resorting to technology.

I have up on Samsung after the S23 series and Watch 5 Pro. They are very middle of the road nowadays.
Feature packed, Jack of all trades. Master of none. Yet costs just as much as the best of the competition.
Ok the design language on these looks super cool right off the bat. Like way nicer than the last few generations where I just felt it looked weird on all Samsung's devices
As a former skuba diver i can give some info on the "100m" depth. You have watches witch say 50m witch translates to "you can swim with this no problem", 100m you can do basic scuba diving with this. But if you really want a scuba diving you need a 200m watch. If you want a depth sensor you get at least a 200m watch
