Fat outside the heart is not what causes heart attacks. That is from plaque buildup within the blood vessels of the heart.
However, all that fat on the surface of the heart would tend to make muscle activity more difficult and that could result in cardiomyopathy and potentially heart failure.

In april 2023 I weighed 345 pounds. Now, October 2023 I weight 302. +40 pounds lost because of 2 triggering events: I broke 2 office chairs in a span of 3 months (Jan-Apr 2023) and because I saw various visceral fat videos from this channel either on YT or Tiktok days later after the second broken chair incident.
Both events rewired my brain and made me understand and acknowledge that I have a very bad lifestyle and I needed a change ASAP.
