Hitler was not a good artist he struggled with line work perspective and scale all things he should have had a firm grasp on if he actually took art seriously before applying to art school. Theres just far too many mistakes in his paintings that he clearly wasn't taking them that seriously and probably treated it as a hobby since he hadn't written the story for CoD yet.
By the time you are trying for art school you should have your own style and be competent in others already Hitler could barely do postcard settings.
