Loved the place nice rooms been lucky to have been upgraded once had breakfast and evening dinner sometimes offers like money off hot ice shows
Me and my wife stayed here for three nights,and was charged for parking our car nightly,this is extra on the accomodation,staff were ok can,t understand why they charge extra for parking,so next time we came we parked on the road outside the hotel,big blue need to sort themselves out over this issue,bit of a rip off,you could use that money to get a nice meal elsewhere,breakfast was ok,but run out of some of the items,

Brought back memories, this vlog, as used to work there.....(house - keeping). There is actually a little gym in a designated room.....not sure if its chargable. No pool. Family rooms are out of this world, with separate bunk bed rooms, with little tv's built into end of bunk beds. If you want more water, (or anything else), you just ask. The customer is King/Queen there! Great review....thank you so much. 👍🌈🌸😃

Stayed their a couple of times, they allow dogs to as long as their well behaved, on the first floor I have to say though it looks the exact same as the rooms we got, No different something to take into account then if your going to pay extra for Delux, no need, no difference, honestly... Lovely hotel no faults 🤗
We stayed there in Oct for 3 nights we got upgraded as well.They do it if they are not busy.We paid £280 for 3 nights B and B.So worked out at under £50 each per night,okay as far as i am concerned.But they do charge £18 per night for on site parking.The buffet breakfast is outstanding though.

Stayed at Big Blue few years ago. We got family room which was lovely apart from overlooking the Big One, every few minutes the thundering past window, but didn't spoil the break.

I usually stay at the Imperial but would definitely stay at the Big Blue, love the big beds.
Do you think they upgraded you because someone might have see you on UA-cam or another hotel told them about you staying at a hotel.

Hi Paul, yes stayed there a few times. Standard room is fine and yes price changes day to day . paid £130 for a Sat night and £85 for a Sun night 2 years back. Food is spot on as you said, we had a club sandwich and crisps at about 10pm and it was spot on. Staff are great, early axes to the park if you are going thee for the day. I would go back. However we stay at the hotel opposite (19.44 on your video) New Esplanade, That is a fantastic hotel with lovely staff, great rooms and a warm welcome. Give it a try if you like. They are currently out of season and are always updating the hotel. Yes Big Blue id a great hotel. Love the video as always ;-) Safe travels pal.

I’ve stayed here before and found it very nice and staff are great. I also like the number 1 south beach, it’s about a 5 minute walk from this hotel opposite the big silver disco ball. Yes it’s a five star but it’s unbelievable

We stayed there a few years ago in a standard room and it was lovely, but parking was free then, there is no way i would pay £18 per night for parking, particularly as we would always want to stay for a few nights not just one. thankyou for the reviews, we have actually stayed in another hotel that you reviewed and it was great.

We have stayed here also in a deluxe room for 2 nights could not fault it room was lovely, we drank in the bar and ate in the restaurant food was good quality could not fault. Did look to rebook but prices have really gone up since our last vusit ( prob due to covid,energy prices and food etc) so not been back yet.

I think it looks lovely and I was surprised by how low the price wasalthough it would be interesting to know how much it is peak season. You should have been there a couple of weekends ago the strictly lot were staying there.

I guess I can understand why people dont like to be filmed, even in a public place, their privacy needs to be respected.
Correct that's why I only do short film cuts It would be nice to film the full breakfast but It looks wrong when your standing there with full camera equipment videoing a sausage

( im original from manchester so grew up going to blackpool on day trips and holidays but have live in Bristol for 18 yrs) ...planning on going back at some point i usualy stay north shore though at one of the LGBT hotels ..the last one we stayed at was Ledgends and it was realy nice!

Take a picture of your breakfast 🥐🍳 & just show the pictures if you can film. Looks a lovely place to stay, but you can get a room cheaper v& a full English & an evening meal at other places.

Next time give the Hotel Boulevard a go , 5* and its owned by the same as the big blue family
21:16 going on the first of April 2 nights £200 dinner on first night and day at the pleasure beach I think it’s a bargain

Price very fair between £85-£108.
I stayed 1 night in Travelodge,south shore cost me £94 room,staff&food very nice just had some annoying guests there view opposite Blackpool Football Ground look forward more great videos keep them coming👍

WE BOTH STAYED IN THE BIG BLUE WHEN IT FIRST OPENED AND IT HAS NOT CHANGED AT ALL APART FROM THE TOILETRIES, IT WAS ALWAYS A BIT PRICEY.

Don't understand your point I showed my breakfast as explained in the video as you would be aware if you have watched that hotels take offence to people video restaurants and clientele and you have to remember I am there as any any other guest to give a true review as I see it
