I was there this May 7-9 and saw nothing. I did hear conversations in certain areas, but as soon as i went to check it out...nobody was there and then silence. Very clean place and the ladies who opetated the bar and kitchen were very nice. This video made me want to check this place out. The Stanley Hotel is next.
Yeah Victor hotel can be hit or miss. It’s a lot harder to rule out if something is paranormal or just other guest when staying in a hotel, mostly the reason why now we have transitioned our stays to private locations. I think we more appreciate the charm over anything else when it comes to the Victor hotel. As for the Stanley hotel, we have our personal opinion about that.. lol. Don’t get me wrong we love the hotel but I think with that place most people especially paranormal investigators embellish the movie “The Shining” and convincing people that it’s known for ghostly activity. We have never had any experience while staying there and we use to go every year in the summer.
I felt an energy when at the Victor and the Stanley Hotel. Hard to explain that feeling. I'm from Massachusetts and have had a number of experiences with the paranormal. I get vibes in certain forrests in Massachusetts and in homes. This includes a shadow person in the woods of Massachusetts with my friend back in 1988. I like your channel. Its intelligently done.
Thank you my friend, that means to world to us. Yeah our channel isn’t over the top, but we like to keep it more natural to how we are in our everyday life, minus the inside jokes.. lol.🤣 Anything or a method that we would doubt the sincerity of it in others investigations we steer clear of it in ours including staying away from creating false narratives which is easy when using phone apps and the Estes Method.
I'm glad I found your channel. As I live in pueblo, I visit these locations at least once a year and when I feel the need to go back, I come to your channel.
Thank you so much Joshua!! We really do appreciate that, and the fact that you’re a local is awesome, so you can relate!! We hope to start off the new travel season of 2023 with a revisit to a couple of the local spots for sure. Thanks for the support my friend!!!👍
i stayed at the victor last year and imma just say if any ghost hunts there go on a daythey arent hosting an event we got alot of activity earlier in the day but when everyone else started doing stuff almost noting. Also the entire 4th floor last time when i went is trying to be kept as the historical rooms. The sinks can shock you it it out of the bathroom
Just book this hotel for upcoming weekend. I will be staying in room 201 as well. Any recommendations on things to look out for or maybe the story about why this room as I was told by hotel is one of the haunted rooms along with 301 and the 4th floor.
Hey Travis, only rooms I’ve heard of any activity was 4th floor, Room 301, elevator, kitchen, and basement. I didn’t hear anything about room 201. Maybe possibly they’re saying that because it’s directly below Eddie’s room?? Hopefully the night you stay the hotel is mostly empty. We were able to explore freely at night since it was mostly empty on the night we stayed. It’s defiantly a really cool hotel overall.
I appreciate it, ya hopefully it is. I am bringing my equipment with me and if catch anything I will let you know. By the way in places you recommend checking out in the area?
@TravisOtis if you’re ever back in the Cripple Creek area, you may want to check out the St. Nickolas Hotel. It also has a very haunted history/background.
I'm bummed that nobody here has had an experience. I visited the hotel with my family over the summer. We arrived late and were super tired from the long days travel. We were going white water rafting in the morning so we had to rush to bed, which we were all fine with. There were three of us and I slept in the bed next to the door alone. We were worried about altitude sickness and the 14 year old got headaches very easily. As I laid there in bed, going through the next day in my head, we couldn't be late to the gorge and it was a decent drive. I suddenly felt a semi-forceful tapping on my foot. The first thought in my mind was oh shit, hes got altitude sickness. The tapping persisted so I looked down at the end of the bed to see what was wrong and... there was nobody there. My family members were sound asleep. I was so confused when I laid back down. Then it hit me... this place is haunted.
Yeah I love that hotel. It just seems like everytime we go there, we’re always rushing and don’t get enough actual time to investigate properly. We plan to make a trip back that way next summer hopeful to do a better investigation of some sort.
Honestly that trip, no we didn’t but we didn’t do anything serious to make contact. We didn’t do any EVP sessions at all… it was our earlier days, still was learning the ropes a bit.

@@BBQROCKSTAR178 words can’t explain what that means to me.. “I just told my wife what you said”…. We never, I mean never get comments like that, so It means the world to us to hear that.
