- In this video, we take another look at DIY Detailing Products. This time, the Ceramic Gloss Detail Spray/Drying Aid. DIY Detail's Ceramic Gloss is a high-tech ceramic detail spray that forms a chemical bond with your paint to increase UV protection, shine, and slickness. Ceramic Gloss technology makes it superior in both longevity and protection vs. traditional waxes and detail sprays. Ceramic Gloss can be applied to any surface on your vehicle to create a streak-free ultra-slick surface.

Seems like a decent brand so far. 👍
Thank you Brian, happy you enjoy it, and great test. We never tested for heat like you did, we will have to send the chemist back into the lab.
How does this compare to nv car care
@@neildorrity9507 hopefully better NV care care is garbage to me. Not even close to being something top notch.
Brian, what do you typically use these days to strip wash a vehicle?
I've heard 1oz of Greenstar works good. Any other suggestions?
Thank you for showing us new, interesting products.
Great video! Got mine not long ago and I'm looking forward to using the lineup! Very impressive for a quick detail spray. 👏 👏
I absolutely love the legitimacy of your reviews and because of that I'll always be subbed and watch your videos
Here here
Very impressive results. Will check it out.
Thank you Brian
Another great video and review Brian. In your experience what product coating , spray sealant or wax gives the best darkening or jetting effect? Thanks always enjoy each video.
Would be interesting to compare head to head to BC3. !!!!!
Yvan Lacroix and Nick McGurk from Hawk Pro Detailing in Heber City, Utah collaborated on the DIY line of detailing chemicals. If Yvan backs it, you know it is good.
Thank you for the vote of confidence Ron!
I would have liked to see this paired against Phoenix EOD Titan
So far I've been impressed with both Ceramic Gloss and Bead it. Both exceeding my expectations
Thank you John.
This is the second test against the competitive that I saw the DIY win!
How the hell did i miss this one🤔.. anyway.. Awesome stuff Brian!! Definitely Interested in the DIY line👍🏻👌
I really would love it if you could test Avalon King's Armor Shield Lite, ceramic spray. I'm so curious how it'd compare to all these other products you've tested so far.
Which product out of all you have reviewed within the last few years are #1 for gloss, hydrophobics & slickness. Price being no issue. Spray coating or detailers. Thanks
Awesome video and comparison good friend
cant ask much more of a detail spray than that especially at that price. now the rinseless wash looks intriguing.. if yvan put his name on it....
Yvan and Nick did much more than “ put their names on it”, they worked with the chemist to develop products that they would use in their shops.
I like the DIY performance and the price point.
That's a decent QD for the price. I would buy that before I'd buy the Chemical Guys. Only problem is DIY Detail isn't as ready available like CG. Bummer! Thanks Brian.
DIY is available on line through idscarcare.com and our own website diydetail.com. More distributors are coming on line soon.
So its super slick and still OK to put on RUNNING BOARDS and Step bumpers?
There is more and more great products outthere. There is one product line used by a lot of detailers here in Quebec that is look to be one of the best but I didn’t test it yet and it’s called Labocosmetica. If you can test it out and compare to others it will be very nice !!
Pretty impressive even 4 a detail spray
All I can think is do we really need another detail spray?
In reality no, that said every line of products does need one. Our DIY Ceramic Gloss is closer in performance to a spray on ceramic coating than a detail spray. Nick and Yvan worked to develop a complete line of products that is high quality, easy to use, fun to use, and economical.
This stuff looks like it’s great, too bad they don’t sell it in gallons or 5 gals, or maybe even 55 gal drums, this stuff looks legit - Surviving 2 rounds of Citrol you don’t see very often if at all on the channel here, hell you see some “ceramic” detailer/sealant sprays that don’t even last a wash or two. If they sold this in bigger quantities i might be in on this stuff - awesome review as always Brian!
Thanks for your enthusiasm, the DIY Detail line isn’t meant for professional Detailers ( though they can definitely use them). It’s why we went with 16oz bottles. Some products will eventually be released in larger quantities if demand is there.
@@diydetailofficial understandable - but something that was still standing after two rounds of the sealant killer should spark a lot of sales and demand for at least gallons - I’ll be hoping that happens 👍🏼
@@diydetailofficial we're demanding at least half gallons! Lol you know-for the diy detailer's
@@diydetailofficial i hear you- BUT- in my family, we have 4 cars and one detailer (guess who). I would love gallon sizes
Dang! That's very impressive chemical resistance for the Ceramic Gloss! Real world durability may be different, but still...
Thank you, we worked hard to provide quality products at an affordable price
👍
DIY is definitely not bead maker relabeled!
Just to clarify, are you thinking it is or it definitely isn’t? Just couldn’t really tell with your statement. Thx
Nothing in the DIY Detail line is relabeled.
😁👍🏻
🤙🤙🤙🤙
The artifacts when your pressure washing the hoods outside is crazy, very tough to see. Think about upgrading to a quality 4k camera.
Only 14 bucks for shipping on a 14.99 item.....I'll pass.....
That is the problem with a lot of their stuff. The shipping makes it expensive.
