Hey Christian sure I can help you. So for dilution it is simple. Easy Example You buy a product that says it is dilutable. Say they said to dilute it in a 32oz bottle with distilled water 1:1. That means you use 16oz of product and 16oz of water. Now 2:1 dilution in a 32oz bottle means more water with 1 part product. So you will put 24oz of water and 8oz of product. No you have diluted the product more. And so on and so forth. 32:1 dilution in a 32oz bottle will be 31 parts water and 1oz solution. The larger number is always water. Hope this helps. Overall I am making the product less concentrated and in turn last longer for me.
Best bang for your buck in gallons from DIY. Top 4. Is their rinseless, All Clean, interior clean and protect and ceramic gloss. If you like spray and rinse protection h the en get quick beads. I like to use just quick beads for wheels. Everything else you can get in 16oz bottles. Unless you like soap as well then of course incredible suds.
I use CarPro Multi-X for my APC. It does a good job as a pre-treatment prior to a contact Wash. I also use Multi-X on interiors when I need a stronger cleaner for vinyl, plastics or fabrics. You can dilute Multi-X 1:15 or 1:20 and when I buy on sale it’s about $70 per gallon. How does the DIY All Clean compare to Multi-X ? It appears the price and dilution ratio is almost the same but what performs better in your opinion?
Yes MultiX is a great APC. Tbh that is a great comparison All Clean to Multi-X. From here we are just pulling hairs here. At this point it's whichever you prefer and enjoy using. They probably can’t relabel. Do you think DYI engineer all the products? They likely buy from the big boys and slap their name on it. To engineer all those products from scratch would take years and lots of $.
@@gvodoman8702 all depends. I believe they do make their own stuff or own their patents formulas. Just like food. To make an omelette you need eggs and cheese. We both make one. You make one with Swiss and pepper only and mines with cheddar and salt pepper. Same raw ingredients different results. Mines maybe saltier cause I added too much salt and pepper etc. Everyone uses the same raw ingredients it’s how it’s made and what they want to add or take out what makes it different
@@gvodoman8702 for sure that’s another added bonus. Even if they don’t have a manufacturing plant themselves to say “make”. At the end of the day anyone is willing to “make” great products for companies if the price is right. There are soooo many chemicals and products that are amazing during testing. Jimbo from auto detailing podcast says this. That because a product is amazing!!! Ready for launch the company is willing to make an extra 50cents more per bottle and sacrifice performance of a product. It’s sad but true
Yes I was super tired actually this day. Had a couple of interior details before this vehicle which had both I wanted to showcase the products and record as it was the best vehicle to do it on. 😂
What I love about DIY is the quality. It’s just that Nick makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up! Sorry but i just can’t listen to that guy for more than a second lol. Yvan’s knowledge is priceless and these products reflect 40 years of trial & error of what’s worked for him & what hasn’t. How can you go wrong with buying those products as your staples?

I though the same clicking around. I started thinking if you only use 2 ounces. Such as one ounce in a foam cannon and one in your 2 bucket wash. It's a value. I've been watching reviews. But hopefully Detailing Made Simple can clear things up. But heard and saw reviews the cleaning power of that soap is top tier.
Hey brother, so at 1 ounce of Incredible Suds per foam cannon, you’re looking at $.66 per car if you buy the gallon:) I know the gallon price seems steep but the value is actually there 💪
@@diydetailofficial couldn't have said it any better myself! If you use one ounce in a foam cannon. Whatever is left in the foam cannon dump into your wash bucket and foam up! Still crazy suds. Definitely a lot of value. I've used soaps that I have to use 4-5 ounces. For it just to be sudsy but doesn't clean well. That's when you lose value.
God I love DIY, I'm getting more and more into their products, one thing that bummes me is that All Clean is just not attractive here in the EU - Bilt Hamber Surfex HD absolutely DESTROYS it in price per let's say your American "ounce" (man I don't get the imperial system) All Clean is double the price of BH and we only get 1 gallon of AC, where we get 1,5 gallon of BH for a lot less, also it's dilutions - surfex is dillutable up to 200:1, I use it 100:1 on interiors and it works great while All Cleans max dilution is 1:30, I didn't try All Clean, I don't doubt its power (I actually think it might be a great product and will try it but I don't think I'll buy a gallon sadly) but man it's not price friendly here with BH being so good and cheap (I know the reverse is in the US - BH is expensive there) - just my rant as I'm a little frustrated by it all 🥲 Cheers Soc, fun to watch your,,begginer" series 🤣
@@victoryensured7137 definitely I get your frustration. For me yes even here Bilt hamber in my opinion is stronger than all clean. I have to give it to BH. As an all around interior cleaner to me it’s a bit safer than BH. But BH really tackles heavy dirt and grime better. As you said it’s cheaper in your area so why not. Also not one brand makes the best everything. I’m sure in the future they’ll upgrade their all clean as well. The way Phoenix EOD made Kraken amazing!!!

Just found DIY Detail products online. Enjoyed your video. Please get a better step stool than that folding chair. That's an accident waiting to happen! Be careful!
Hey Tom glad you enjoyed the content. Thank you for being concerned for my safety i really appreciate it. I’ve upgraded to a step stool/stand for around 6 months already 💪💪 hope you enjoy the rest of my videos
Nice video!
Appreciate it. Glad you enjoyed the content 💪💪
They need to relabel for professional detailers
Very great product line indeed 💪
I think the real value DYI brings is the knowledge they have. The tips and tricks are amazing knowledge to have.
Do it work? (In the video title) Lol!!
😭😭😂😂 Yeah only limited to 100 characters
@@DetailingMadeSimple Sorry, didn't know.
You don't look tired you look stoned
😂😂😂
A bit tired? You look like you're sleepwalking.
Their quality is really good. Like you said it’s trial and error for many years from pro detailers. That’s what’s important 💪💪
I got to the 'hair on the neck' section and thought you were going to make a comment about Nick's Italian mud flap (the no-longer present mullet). I like how Nick and Yvan play off of each other. Everyone should have an Uncle Yvan.
DIY products are tested ok
"Do" it work. IDK. Do it?
Yes it do work 😭😭 I finally changed the title we are limited to 100 characters for the title. I took off one of the hashtags so I can fit the word "Does". 😭😭 I hope you enjoyed the content 👍
85$ for a gallon of soap 😳
I though the same clicking around. I started thinking if you only use 2 ounces. Such as one ounce in a foam cannon and one in your 2 bucket wash. It's a value. I've been watching reviews. But hopefully Detailing Made Simple can clear things up. But heard and saw reviews the cleaning power of that soap is top tier.
Hey brother, so at 1 ounce of Incredible Suds per foam cannon, you’re looking at $.66 per car if you buy the gallon:) I know the gallon price seems steep but the value is actually there 💪
@@diydetailofficial I'm definitely going to try it out since reviews have been really good 👍
@@diydetailofficial couldn't have said it any better myself! If you use one ounce in a foam cannon. Whatever is left in the foam cannon dump into your wash bucket and foam up! Still crazy suds. Definitely a lot of value. I've used soaps that I have to use 4-5 ounces. For it just to be sudsy but doesn't clean well. That's when you lose value.
clickbait
