After this 97 yard run by Lamar Miller, no one in the NFL had another 97 yard TD run until week 12 of the 2018 NFL season in the Texans vs Titans game. This person? None other than Lamar Miller once again haha.
Andy Yang the jets are the most slept on team in the entire league ! They finished with a top 10 defense and ended the season 6-2. Oh and they had 59 players on IR, didn’t have Sam darnold for three games and went 7-9.
The best way to remind yourself how the worst NFL athletes are better than us is to try kicking a FG. I thought I was gonna hit a 20 yarder but I only could kick it 10 yards. I have to punt to get it high enough
As a Raiders fan I have a few Raiders games u could do. Jon Gruden’s last game with the Bucs Week 17 2008 Gradkowski’s game vs the Steelers Week 13 2009 The game we snapped 13 game losing streak vs Chargers Week 5 2010 Jacoby Ford’s breakout game vs Chiefs Week 9 2010
Sam Maugeri Eagles Fan I’m guessing I feel like he could’ve been a good starter if he wasn’t injury prone and played for a good team with good coaching. My Raiders would’ve finished better than 5-11 that year if fricking JaMarcus Russell didn’t start Week 1 and we didn’t wait to start Gradkowski to start until Week 11.
Thank you for these videos! I love watching all the older games. Even though I’m a Bears fan, I just can’t ever get enough football and this channel is amazing for the content it produces
This game is like watching a cursed highlight. We have Chris Ivory and Lamar with explosive runs, Decker and other Jets receivers doing their best, Tannehill on the Dolphins, and Geno Smith, of all people, with effortless dimes and a perfect rating. Nice job Lamar and Geno, but the longer you look the stranger gets. At least the Jets uniforms are better here.
Not really. I mean I get how you could say that if youre uneducated on how qbr is calculated though. Decker only had 1 of the 3 TDs and Geno threw 0 picks. Those contribute much more than deckers # of catches and yards. You can take away all the throws/catches, yards, and the TD from Decker and he would still have a 135.2 qbr which was still 46 points above league average. Jason Cumberland had 2 catches for 23 yards and 1 Td. Take away just his stats and Genos qbr is 138.2, so Cumberland contributed only 3 points less to the qbr than Decker did so he "carried" Geno just as much as Decker.
Watching this video reminded me of how much talent the dolphins had back in 2013-15. The philbin era underachieved. Those rosters shouldve won 10 or 11 games in 13 & 14. Bad coaching. The offense during those years def underachieved badly. U had landry, mike Wallace, lamar miller, reliable hartline, & charles clay on offense.
Yeah. Geno has never been as bad as the lazily thrown together narrative around him makes him out to be. He was a guy with a lot of great football in him, who predictably struggled when thrown into a dumpster fire year one, then was injured and forgotten when he was poised to make a big jump on much improved team. But alas, the false narrative of him being some legendarirly bad QB had already been fed to the masses, who know nothing better than to make decisions off only box stats and wins, and not consider the whole picture and circumstances. Will he succeed? I have no idea. I just really hate the inconsistency in how player narratives, especially QBs, are formed. He really ended up with the short end of the stick and it speaks a lot about the work he's put in until now to still be around and finally get another shot, unlike most post-1st round QBs who fizzle out of the league in just a few years if they don't immediately succeed.
How different the Jets look by then...this game slips under the radar cause of the virtually meaningless circumstances but yeah...Geno had a perfect game at one point in time. Thanks for posting this. Another good Jets game is Jets vs Texans in 2010 in week 11 when Sanchez drove them down the field in 40 secs with no timeouts for a game winning drive.
Tannehills talent was always there. He may have had lapses in decision making due to pressure, but give him an offense line & a defense & that boy decent!
Dolphins got the last laugh against Rexy though, beating buffalo in week 16 of the 2016 season, both clinching a playoff spot and getting Rex fired in one game!
Loving these Geno highlights, but Eric Decker was so slept-on, too. I dunno why I had so much fun watching the Jets in these years, especially when they got B-Marshall. 😂
I guess Rex Ryan's era in the Big Apple with the Jets at the time, ended very well with this 2014 NFL regular-season-ending win. Despite the horrid 4-12 finish.
As a true Giants fan I just can't get with the Jets at all no matter what,........except the years that Rex had the team. I can't explain why but Rex made me actually watch and have interest in the New York Jets!!! I rooted for them to win those 2 AFC Championship games and go on to win the Super Bowl!! I truly had interest for Gang Green when Rex was at the helm. He made the relevant again, in a small way.... LMFAO!!
As the Jet's best player is requesting a trade, I think of all of the lost years this franchise and it's fanbase has lived thru.. We need winning. We need anything positive.
You guys should do the Titans vs Eagles game where the Titans converted multiple 4th downs in a row to defeat the defending super bowl champions and score a near last second TD to win it at home
After this 97 yard run by Lamar Miller, no one in the NFL had another 97 yard TD run until week 12 of the 2018 NFL season in the Texans vs Titans game. This person? None other than Lamar Miller once again haha.
Wow, that's a crazy stat!
Wow nice stat dude. Derrick Henry ended up having a 99 yarder against the Jags late that year too lol
@@jvtherrien Even more insane, lol.
Fun fact: He scored both 97 yard touchdowns after both Dolphins and Texans defense stop there opponents on 4th and 1

Please do Derrick Thomas’s 7 almost 8 sack game (I’m not a chiefs fan)
This was a game against the Seahawks in 1990 and Thomas sacked Dave Krieg all 7 times.
I'm a Seahawks fan and I still want to see that game. At least we still won :)
Bro the man had him by the ankles
I can’t believe Seahawks actually won that game
I love how bewildered they are at Geno Smith playing well
The way Geno effortlessly lobs up those bombs while on the run, reminding me even the worse QB in the league is still 100 times better than me
The best way to remind yourself how the worst NFL athletes are better than us is to try kicking a FG.

Geno always has the arm talent to be a starting NFL QB, but his decision making at times was downright confusing
At 8:29 when he threw a perfect touch pass to Decker with pressure in his face, off his back foot
Geno is one of the most underrated passers in the game. Never had a real chance or any real weapons around him.
But he did have tools some times and still have a passing rating of 0
#Facts
@@Dele83 He will get his chance this season!! QB1
@@thomasromano1417 yeah bro I'm psyched for the guy. He can change the narrative with exceptional play and smart decision making

9:54 New York Special
(Then the Philly special in SB).
New York failed special
I remember how bad that oline was for the dolphins
Nate Swaggin its always been noutoriously bad
Him and Andrew luck were the most sacked qbs around the time
Y'know, thanks for the bitter memories of 2014 NFL throwback
This game perfectly describes the T-Hill era in Miami.
@UCJeR56aMaxGltGVcGxVxL_g Ryan Tannehill's nickname.
I mean you can probably blame that on the coaching of Joe Philbin.
Tyreek Hill didn't play in Miami tho????
Alnitak Tannehill you idiot
Plays great, terrible offensive line play
Being a Jets fan, I remember watching this game and thinking to myself, where was this offensive play calling all season?
LOL I was thinking the same damn thing too
Mike Vick AND CJ2K on the Jets at the same time is still mind blowing
Eric Decker absolutely carried him to that perfect QBR
Damn you’re a hater. If carried him so much he should be Antonio Brown the way you’re talking.

Leave it to the dolphins to make Geno smith look like a good quarterback
I forgot about this performance, so what Geno is doing is not necessarily a surprise. He has pieces in place in Seattle.
