Thank you for showing all this. Since here stores are only selling what people want compound stuff and instant stuff...its very hard to grow in trad archery just getting arrow making supplies is a pain archery people in stores look at you like your an alien when asking for trad stuff. Your my principal source on trad archery...so thank you for sharing.
friend... the hunting points should be placed on the arrows perpendicular to the ground, that is, with the edge vertical?... or horizontally?... how would the arrow fly better?... or how do you place it? I hope you take some time to help me. Greetings from Venezuela
Would you recommend using hot melt for aluminum screw in adapters as well? I would assume so, but didn't know if there might be a better option. I definitely like the idea of being able to change the alignment later on.
What do you think of the eclipse heads for whitetail? Only shooting 40# right now and field points are tuned to 150gr. Deff want a 2 blade but I'm not sold on single bvl.
@@clayhayeshunter I also am shooting carbons..if I go with a tuffhead would you go with glue in or screw in....if screw in then what kind of adapter do you recommend?
Question? How you ever tried Gluing the Breadheads onto the Wooden Shafts, Using a Hot glue Gun, Just wondering,? If that would work also.? Thanks for Sharing your video very interesting etc.
y6ou use a block of glue i would like to know what it is called as i was told a name i ordered and it came but it was blue looked nothing the same and did not glue the same

dredger9mm Ha, you're welcome...
Thanks Clay! That is an awesome jig and it would be perfect for cresting arrows too!!!
trollforge thanks, I hadn't thought of using it for cresting, but that would certainly work.
Thanks Clay. Great jig for cresting too. Going to a Goodwill today. Hope they got one or two.
+Tom Panetti I'm sure you can find some old wheels somewhere.

Doesn’t matter
Is there any direction that a broadhead should be aligned with the fletching, I’m shooting left wing feathers with a left bevel broad head...
Appreciate the video and think I have a pair of nasty rollerblades that might get a second chance at use.
Las puntas van colocadas en la flecha de forma vertical u horizontal?.. cómo vuelan mejor las flechas?...

Yes but not the stuff that goes in a glue gun.
how long after I put the broad head on should I wait before shooting it?
+Bryan Miesen Until it's cool. Dip it in water to speed it up.
Clay, Where do you get your Wooden Shafts From, Looks like you have a nice supply of them, Nice.
+MyREDTAIL there are lots of good manufacturers. Surewood shafts would be a good place to start.
What is the best taper tool in your opinion??
The ones that work with a tabletop belt sander are the most accurate. Tim’s taper tool is a good option.

I’ve been shooting the Tuffheads.
@@clayhayeshunter dangit man! Lol I really want to stick with a double bevel....is that what your kiddo shot his hog with?

Awesome🤘
As I am new using the Wooden Shafts , Do you line the blade of the Broadhead,? With the Cock Feather, Is that how it is done.?
+MyREDTAIL different people do it different ways. Doesn't matter.
Question? How you ever tried Gluing the Breadheads onto the Wooden Shafts, Using a Hot glue Gun, Just wondering,? If that would work also.? Thanks for Sharing your video very interesting etc.
+MyREDTAIL that would work for a while but it gets brittle and the heads will pull off eventually.
