They say that he will be an olympic champion but hardbats are not allowed in the olympic games . Those rackets have grippy rubbers like butterfly or donic etc and their feel is different . These are sandpaper rackets have very less grip.

neilzone lubao yes but they should teach him by following the rules, in one of the matches he hits the ball before it hits the table (illegal) but still gets the point
I think this is a perfect table tennis player who should take Ian Lariba's place since she died yesterday. He could be our one & only hope for our country to compete at the Tokyo Olympics in 2 years.
Dear Philippine Sports Commission, please support this kid. Send this kid to China to train. He'll be world class and Philippines hope for more international medals.
Nevermind, just realized he's playing a totally different sport. Sayang. He doesn't need to go to China. He can be Sand Paper world champion training in the Philippines.
All I know is this kid has been training and playing with guys above this skill level. Just think what he will do to kids who only train for their skill level. Blue bat, rubber bats, stiga or dunlop. This kid is going places
He actually use rubber and really good at it. As a player and trainer, using liha/sand paper will help him feel the touch of a ball...his spin will become more powerful when he go back to rubber.
MegaOrox Sandpaper bat training will not make him that much better. It will mean less playing time with rubber bats which have a very different feel. If it was a good strategy then other people would do it.
Your said "For your information and enlightenment... many of table tennis Olympic medalists also plays sandpaper Pingpong on their training. " Absolutely nonsense !!!!! Who is the Olympic medalists play that sandpaper pingpong on their training ? the Korean, Chinese or German? You are lying to people again.....
Sorry, you use the wrong word ..... Championship of Table Tennis and Olympic gold meal The games in this video is that everybody had to use blade with sandpaper on both side . This is totally different in Olympic game and game held by International Table Tennis Federation. People playing in these games must have rubber (which generate spin and speed) on both side or one side (Japanese penhold). You are misleading people.....

For your information and enlightenment... many of table tennis Olympic medalists also plays sandapaper Pingpong on their training. It's a strategy.
neilzone lubao Do you just copy paste ur replies from somewhere? And give me one example for an olympic medalist that uses sandpaper bats for training. That is absolutely nonsense.
So the reason he's winning most of the time is because he's playing with paddles that have no rubber or any padding for spins.. and the other player is provided the same paddle that the kid is playing.. it's a bit unfair. Because you're touching the base of ping pong fundamentals but later this kid should learn to play with padded padles
This is using sand paper bats. You cannot compete in the Olympics at Table Tennis with these bats. Modern Table Tennis uses high spin rubber faced bats and is a very different game.

Piano 120 aljay does and with this kind of training he has started to make a name for himself while you remain bitterly unknown.
Well sure. It's at least clickbait . Because the title says "Table Tennis Player". And you mentioned it. Table tennis ist NOT Ping Pong.
Ben C I know it's different but they are also using the same donic table tennis board as it is used in Table Tennis

Training with hardbats trains touch, feel, and strokes. All important components of table tennis.
If this training strategy is so good why don't chinese players do this? Its cuz its useless. It ruins your stroke and technique.
i know that in Philippines playing ping pong is prevalent but i still think table tennis gives u a more promising future if your are a pro play
