@richardlabarre7892 what is the model of the android device you use? I have a SX4 in Brazil, and I'm currently looking for a similar device to replace the semi-useless original radio. Great video, by the way.
Hey, what kind of radio are you installing and do u have a serial number to find it on Amazon? I just got suzuki sx4 2010 sadan (not the 4x4 5doors) and was looking for Android, GPS +reverse cam + Bluetooth to play music from the phone. Thanks in advance!
Hi! An interesting question: You unplug the "GPS wire" at 2:29 and install a "GPS puck" at 4:00. While the GPS puck sits just below the glass window, where does the original GPS antenna go? If it goes outside the car, then it would provide a less shielded, stronger GPS signal. Moreover, the original GPS connector, which you disconnected looks like a proper coaxial cable. The other one is very easy to bend and loop. What are your experience over this? Have you tried the original connector as a source for the GPS signal?
I may have misspoke and I don’t mean it was a GPS why I mean it was a radio antenna wire. And yes if you install the puck outside it would be a better signal. That’s kind of obvious. But most people don’t want that outside the car so I put it right there on the center of the dash underneath the plastic and the windshield so that it picks up a signal. Is it accurate to survey the road or property probably not is it accurate enough to drive you down the road probably is.
Any device that fits will work depends on your skill level with the harness adapter. This Android device comes with the correct adapter for the easiest installation. Plugs right into the factory harness.
can you add link where you buy this android media for suzuki sx4 and why not add rear camera, if you have another video how to you set camera add this link ok thanks for all, perfect
@@richardlabarre7892 in the comments of the ad on eBay? I was only asking because I added my car to eBay an says it won’t fit? My gf has a 2012 SX4 crossover
That's showing how easy it is, even a spatula can be used to do this. No special expensive tools. And those are working mans hands. Just changed out an engine that same day.
Hey, thanks for this video. I actually own a 2011 suzuki sx4 sportback. My radios (LED?) lights are faded out so i cant see any info on them, but this will be useful to replace it myself. I had a couple of questions: 1) whats that plastic tool you used to remove the sideguards called? 2) on the pop up / down gps holder. Do you know if they still sell any of those gps's? Id like to have one again just to say its "complete". But if not, what kind of connectors give power to the gps unit? (In the gps holder itself) 3)is there somewhere online that gives the dimensions of the stock gps, that goes into the gps holder? I ask because i was wondering if i could find something else online that could fit into the gps holder
Very common on the 2011 radio’s for the LED’s to fade out. I had to finally change my wife’s radio last year as it was driving me crazy! The tool he used was a pie cutter/server utensil. I’d pick up a set of nylon trim removal tools from Harbor Freight for 7 dollars as they will always come in handy.
I've been looking for a video like this for my sx4. Thanks.
Suzuki SX4 best cars too exist
Clearest video online. Thanks!
Nice video !. Good job. Please upload more Suzuki SX4 videos
Normally I would but I’m so busy working on them I have no time to video my work.
Terima kasih Bung, salam dari Indonesian
Thanks for the video :)
Thanks for sharing, would you have the harness and radio head part numbers or a link where to order them from. Thanks

Would this also work with the 2006 model sx4? I think mine has come with a factory fitted screen as well so just wondering if this would work?

Most of the time, they are instructions for removing car panels
