@@ShinningCrys i ate a cricket once. it wasn’t very nice so i can see why we don’t usually eat them

I now understand how Clark Kent's disguise works after seeing Emily without her glasses.
Has anyone ever seen Emily and Supergirl in the same room?
Yeah, me too. She looks different, maybe younger.
@@juliusroman8616 She already looks super young with her glasses
One time I tried to fake out a friend by taking off my glasses, turning my mask around, and putting my hair up (I never do). It worked pretty well
If I could like this comment 57 more time, I would!
“You can mix dry ice in drinks”
*Me having been told my whole life you would die if you touched it:*
👁👄👁
Same here!! I’ve always been so scared to touch it because of the rumors I’ve heard as a kid.
Actually, yeah it's really dangerous if you touch it for too long or swallow it. However if you crush it up really fine then mix it in a drink it should all evaporate by the time it turns into a slushie. Another trick is to put it in the freezer because the freezer is warm enough for the dry ice to disappear but cold enough so the freezee won't melt. Obviously do your own research if you plan to mess with dry ice though!
i did too until i saw some kids crunching on it at a school trip and got real confused
lol same also love the bakugou pic
i had it in school and my teacher said “don’t touch it or you’ll get frostbite and die ;)”
This is such a good idea! A lot of people like snakes, but don't want them as pets because of feeding mice/rats. I think this would allow more people to try owning a snake!
Was just showing these to my mom because she's deathly afraid of mice and rats! Here's hoping I'll be able to own a snake thanks to Reptilinks!
YES
Yes I would really love to own a snake but I don’t have the heart to feed them live mice. I have a soft spot for rodents lmao.
@@seras2996 you can feed them frozen rodents! I’m pretty sure most frozen rodents are killed by being put to sleep by a gas or smth so nothing violent. (that is if you don’t get disgusted by dead mice and don’t mind putting them in your freezer ofc)
@@cubenugget335 do they sell them like that already? I have some reptile pet shops near me I should ask them
It would be such a cute idea for the store if you made some stickers for each of your most popular animals (Rex, nearly headless nick, etc) that said "blank approved!" And put them on their favorite snack products!
This is such a cute idea!!!!
@@Lexiebear230 maybe just a big cutting board? courser than a counter, easy to clean
Omg, so adorable!
I like that idea

Hello from Australia, Blue tongue lizards are very common where we live. They would normally eat a lot of slugs and snails in their natural habitat. They would also eat lots of spiders, ants and cicardas. They love living near veggie gardens, but they are not known to eat the vegetables just the insects and snails attracted to them.
Clever little lizards!
I have one that lives in our back yard and raids the strawberry patch on occasion
I wish Australia let American snakes in Australia cause I want a bull snake and a hognose
@@margotjones9664 same there so cute
@@margotjones9664 main reason I decided not to live there,,if I can’t have my giant South American spiders,it ain’t happening!
I always like the way the tegus tongue folds when she’s licking her lips
I think the best possible advertising for Reptilinks is Emily's surprise at how quickly they were accepted and consumed.
Yea
Yea lol, I’m going to buy one because of her lol
I'm definitely gonna use Reptilinks when I start my reptile collection.
I guess Raichu got really hungry and decided that pikachu is back on the menu 😂
I wonder if eating another pokemon from the same evolutionary line is considered cannibalism.
AHAH
@@novaava would a barred owl eating a spotted owl be considered cannibalism? (Since they’re from the same genus) I think it would be considered cannibalism.
Wobbuffet and ditto are lookin pretty hungry too... And who gave wobbuffet a knife and why
@@SnakeDude. I don’t think so, they yes are from the same genus that does not mean they are the same so I don’t think it would be considered cannibalism
I ordered my reptilinks for the first time and got a “due to the high volume of orders from Snake Discovery please allow two extra weeks for your shipment.” Notification 😂 also the money back guarantee only applies to first time orderers and does not apply to ball pythons. Which is understandable. But here’s hoping I can convert my bps.
Its honestly scary that ball pythons are so popular as a starter snake and yet notoriously hard to feed consistently
@@edwardhisse2687 I honestly didn't really know this until I met someone whose bp went off feed and never recovered. I literally went "... Aren't those a typical starter snake? That's scary!"
@@kyrab7914 That's why I prefer corn snakes! I did not even smell like food yet my baby corn snake thought I was a snack. He would eat daily if it was up to him and I love him for it. I get easily stressed so a picky eater wouldn't be good for me even if I think ball pythons are really pretty and friend shaped
@@idiotically-everything I not very smartly want a hoggie or MBK, altho oketee corns have been on my list as well lol. Just don't get as big, tho the wonderful thing is there's a snake for everybody, like your lil corn!
@@kyrab7914 Yeah. I have also been obsessed with corn snakes since I was 7 and will most likely end up breeding them in the future as a hobby. I already have a science project planned. How does Abbots okeetee morph change if you add het palmetto to the mix? That's like 4 years away, but I was planning on getting a lovely palmetto corn snake since they're an interesting morph and there should be palmetto babies near me in fall
Why was the only thing I could think of is “Can I Eat Them?”
I thought that too 😂
Don't recommend! In the video they mention that the links include organs, bones and fur/feathers/scales!
You could with little harm but I don’t think you would like it (cooked of course)
Not all but the ones mentioned prior
Maybe with a little hot sauce?
They probably gave up on cooking eggs and now started cooking pikachu with Raichu being the helper
thats the first thing i saw on the vid lol
I noticed that too, looks like alolan raichu
Wobbuffet and ditto just waiting for the pika to be ready too
i like ur gameplay vlogs
Same. It was the first thing I noticed, then I saw Wobbuffet and lost it 😂😂

An explanation about the Pokémon in the background for anyone curious: in the livestream they said that beginning with the Regurgitation video they are creating a ‘Survivor’ scene in the background. So everyday there will be one less Pokémon and a new Pokémon in the pot 😂😂😂
Thank you!!
Can confirm
😂 I was gonna say something about them it's great.
The beautiful serpent at 15:08 was the most gentle I've ever seen a snake eat. Incredible.
Sometimes I don’t understand how Superman’s disguise can just be glasses but there was a solid 1/2 second at least when Emily took her blindfold off that I was VERY confused
The true sign of professionalism: "Ooh, that doesn't smell great. Gimme another whiff"
Haha ya
Raichu lowkey cooking Pikachu in the backround, like "Nothing to see here folks, carry on with the video" 🤣
Underrated comment lol
And then the ditto and wobbufet
Can I ask what’s low-key about that
xD
Pikachu’s my favorite Pokémon! ❤️
Best choice on the planet for "assist feeding" when necessary. But their training videos are really helpful to get creatures to recognize links as food.
That makes a lot of sense, I've always though that I would probably cut the arms and legs off of the mouse or rat if I assist fed, but this slim, sleek, homogeneous sausage seems like a much better idea. Especially for how much good stuff it has in it, no dust required!
My first thought was, this would be a good way to get Ally to eat her veggies.
It's kinda like the bean brownies lmao
@@bean6045 my mother made brownies and I got suspicious, the next day I found out xD
i was thinking that too
I love how Rex gets super amped when she sees the frisbee
I love this so much. I am absolutely not surprised by our girl Alaska’s reaction 😂 if it contains meats, she must eats!!!
She's a beautiful lizard
Wait... aren't you the one that gave her to Emily and Ed? I am sorry you had to give her up. At least you can still see her in the videos. :) I hate the new laws :(
@@kenna_c yea you are so sweet
@@Skrillo7510 Are you agreeing with me or saying you are her previous owner?
She is so sweet
I have been feeding my blue tongue skink, bindi, and she really enjoys reptilink sausages!
I give her calcium dusted carrots, bananas(cuz it's her favorite),some live worms and a piece of reptilink sausage, she loves it♡
Such a cool idea. Love how the creator saw an empty niche and filled it!
"I guess we have to drive a half hour to the facility"
Me coming from a rural area as well: so right down the street
I feel, I grew up at first in a village where you can walk to the store and then when I moved we had to learn where the store was. A 35 minute expressway drive to the store so when people say its a long 20 minutes to school I think psshhhh what a baby
This is a good idea that I'm surprised no one has created before. It's essentially just like commercially prepared raw diet for dogs and cats. Good idea! Sorry for any English mistakes
Your English is great :) but even if it wasn't, don't apologize!!
@@kaelplatt thank you! I cheat most of the time and use a translator but it makes a lot of mistakes. I'm still learning, English is very hard lol but thankfully my husband is from the usa and a good teacher
There was a company that sold whole mouse sausages for snakes back in the 90s-00s. The idea was that they would be good for people who were squeamish but wanted a snake. I guess that market wasn't big enough because I don't see them anymore. Hopefully Reptilinks will do better.
@@blazertundra I heard that that company used really poor ingredients and eventually folded because people caught on. Reptilinks seems to have found a great niche though. I think they'll stick around for a while!
I love how you can just hold a lizard, snake, anything in your hand, and it’s completely calm, and just chills
To be fair they have enought animals to pick chill ones in a good mood that day for filming
I watch other you tube snake channels. But Emily is my favorite she treats the snakes with so much love and “baby talk” she has so much emotional love for these reptiles. You can tell the snakes do really love her. People say snakes as pets cannot love or show emotions like dogs but somehow Emily has that”snake mother whisperer” gift that it elicits love out of these snakes and reptiles.
Reptile Sausage: Exists
Tegu: I see you have chosen death.
I was gonna comment that 😢
Me: *wondering why Emily looked weird after taking off blindfold*
Emily: *puts glasses back on*
Me: *Shocked Pikachu face*
Me too
I know our brains just delete them and I don't realize they're there but when there actually gone oh boy
2 of my brothers and my dad have glasses, one brother only wears them sometimes but you just get used to the glasses and forget they are there
This is the first time I realized she has glasses xD
and how pikachu is just on the oven is really weird
As a person who has 3 hognoses who have had reptilinks, from my personal experience none of them got hooked on reptilinks. Two of my three were terribly picky, like one went on a 6 month feeding strike so I had bought reptilinks in hopes to get them to eat. They ate the reptilinks for two feeding and that was it.
I fed the leftover links to my non-picky hoggy but they all easily transitioned back to mice.
When Emily did the smell test, it reminded me of the time I switched my answers on a test and turns out my first answer was correct.
So many times I did this, and it just made me want to give up
I have an idea on how to keep the animals from sliding! You guys could have a small cutting from a yoga mat (a rather firm one, so they don't rip it with their claws and accidentally eat any peices) and have them eat on that when you're filming on the countertop!!
That sounds like a good idea but keep in mind they'll probably want to clean it after every reptile. The bare counter is easier to clean
I'd imagine that these sausages would also be a bit more UA-cam friendly for feeding videos. If not then I have no idea what's happening with UA-cam
Some radical vegan will get offended that you're feeding your carnivorous animal actual meat, even if it's in sausage form, and will report the video to UA-cam. UA-cam will then flag and demonetize it, if not pull the video altogether.
It's so sad some vegans are like that, please know they don't speak for all of us🙏😓
@@hottiekitty96 i know. I believe most vegans are good people
@@hottiekitty96 Yeah, they probably come from that ridiculous community that wants to rewire carnivores and turn them into herbivores, which means they understand nothing about the environment. Respectful vegans are fine with me.
@@Dandylion567 extremist vegans are harming the vegan/vegetarian community, we're usually normal people :c
When I was a kid, my biological dad raised me to love snakes. We had a serpentarium in our city and would visit it often, as it was just a five or ten minute drive from where we lived. I wanted to own a snake when I was little. But my uncle kept a bunch of snakes. At first I was very excited. But then.... he let me get attached to a live baby mouse before feeding it to a snake and making me watch. You can guess how that effected me. I still love snakes but I was convinced I could never own one. This and your other videos actually give me hope that I could one day own a snake comfortably without feeling horribly guilty at watching a baby animal suffer. My gf and I were talking and she's actually on board with us own a snake one day as long as it isn't a huge one, and the idea of reptilinks makes me feel so much happier. I'm so glad I was able to find your channel and discover this!
I explored getting these when I had an extremely picky hognose baby. I know they're an option for some, but they're ridiculously expensive & not always effective. I ended up finely mincing thawed frog legs I found at Asian markets with great success. And far cheaper. She later switched to f/t mice, and has been a great feeder ever since.
Love that raichu is in the back cooking a pikachu-
Oh wait there’s more! It’s a party

I wish I could show you the screen shot I took of their website!! Go look at the notice they have on the dog treats! It says....
“We are overjoyed for the opportunity to make product for you! Due to a record breaking spring surge and an unprecedented number of orders from Snake Discovery, we are experiencing a shipping delay. Our products are hand-made to order and shipped on each Monday.”
This makes me so happy!!!
There is so much to love in this video, but I think the Pikachu fry-up happening in the background of the intro is my favorite!

I’m sure they may not taste great to people, but Rex’s reptelink made me want to grab a fry pan and some eggs.

Rewatching some old videos and I finally thought to ask the question - how does Rex even know if she likes something? I mean, Emily and Ed are always so excited and saying they think she likes it but honestly, she just inhales the food 🤣

As the name reptilink sank in I was just like, yes. Never heard of it, but yes. Genious.
When she had no glasses she was like super hero in street clothes. She put them on and it was like Spider-Man peeling his shirt off with the suit underneath.
The last snake was so gentle it was sooo adorable to watch I was waiting for the jump scare ❤️❤️😂😂🤣
Seeing your reptiles gobble down this food, all I can hear is my mom when I was a kid, "There is no way you could taste that, you swallowed it whole!" LOL! Your reps, just like me, so loved what we were eating we gobbled it up! Keep up the great work! Love y'all!
The garters like the mini links quail ,rabbit ,and frog. The shipping is a killer the minimum order is about$80 so it's good you are going to have them at the store.
Thanks y’all for making these videos. After rediscovering your videos this month they have made a dark time and no spring break better. I can’t wait to see y’all when you open!
I had never heard of these. I went to the website to order some and they are backed up. Literally says because of Snake Discovery viewers! Haha! That's amazing! Thanks for giving an awesome company some great business!
Loooove reptilinks! I use them for my hognose and get treats for my bearded dragon. Plus for those who are sensitive to looking at dead mice, these are great!

Up until the feathers, fur, and bones part, these things sound like they'd be great people food too.
We can digest them too as much as we avoid them. Even the organ meats. Once cooked in our case though.
I mean, hot dogs have cartilage and bone in them…and rat poop as long as it’s below a certain amount

Human stomach acid can dissolve through metal so really as long as it’s cooked we’d probably be fine
You are not wrong but omg did this comment and the replies make me gag so hard.
Let’s be honest Rex is a gator and they’re meat dumpsters. There was no question she’d eat it

I love the idea behind this, especially the smelly stuff to put them.
Btw, my parents have had a large blue tongue living under their deck for several years who we have decided is the Snail Control Officer lol
Reptilinks are great in variety, my Colombian tegu loves it. I have tried it with my bearded dragon and blue tongue skink and they will eat but is nowhere near as enthusiastic as my tegu. I finally try it on my young hognose who decided to be picky and refuse pinkies. I got the micro frog reptilink and it opens his appetite quickly. I even bought the frog juice to scent the prey items for a few of my other hogs who were being picky and they all took to it fairly well.
I love that you have the option of adding quail eggs if you want to. The only negative thing is you have to spend at least 75 to have them ship. But I have plenty of animals that I always go above that. Overall great product as it gives overall balanced nutrition.

@@Apokalypse456 Yeah, sadly. my mom found him in alabama. She gave it to my litle sis who was scared of him, so he was pretty much never handled. My mom was a pet store employee so she thought she knew everything. He had no heating, 1 hide he could barely fit under, newspaper bedding, a water dish that never got cleaned bc my sis is only 10 and always forgets, and the most disturbing thing is that when they put him in there, they didnt clean the tank. there was kinetic sand all under the newspaper and spots of sticky who-knows-what. he himself was in terrible condition. he had parasites, constipation, and was teribly skinny. I begged my mom and my sister to give him to me. eventually, they said yes. btw, I live in florida with my dad and step-mom. anyways, My parents were also fine with it bc i already did lots of reaserch on snakes. So once they said yes, i sent my parents everything i will need for him. He was only a baby at this time, I think around 2-2 and a half months old. when I got home, first thing i did was set his tank up. (I was in alabama over spring break, and thats when i got him and diagnosed him) now he is in a bigger tank with proper heating, enrichment, hides, and water. as soon as his parasites go away, I want to release him. and thats the story of bullfrog :)
