- Professional match of StarCraft 2 between HeroMarine (Terran) and trigger (Protoss). In this match played during HomeStory Cup 23, HeroMarine decides to Proxy a Starport and make one Battlecruiser a time. In the late game he makes a transition towards mass Tactical Nuke as well.

It seems to me, Lowko mistaken the germans with british people, eating sausages, potatoes and Bacon with eggs (Eier is the german word) for breakfast😂

Surprised at how much value the single void ray got near the end. It just covered on defense eating liberators all day. The same situation would have half a dozen stalkers running in circles.

It’s a bit disturbing how long Terran can stay in a game trading like this while being outmacroed and also at a upgrade disadvantage the entire game, no?
Took the words right out of my mouth. We just watched the equivalent of someone almost beating a pro Street Fighter player by mashing the same single button attack. I don't even hate the player because I know it would be fun to goof off like this.
I think it's because they have way too much utility (scans, mules, etc...) paired with way too easy-to-setup-and-use static defenses (tanks, mines, libs, and PFs).
MULES is the answer, so fucking unbalanced game lol
Were you and your numpty upvotes watching a different video???!!!! 😂For literally the first 20 mins - the part of the game that matters - HerOmarine had far superior macro and better upgrades... this isn't zerg where you're supposed to trade units constantly.
HerOmarine stayed in the game because he's won 10 times more money than trigger at pro level and is obviously much better lol.

It is sad that every time he has something cool happening in a game, That player always looses. Mass NUKE, Carrier, Ultralisks they always loose.
"nukes", carriers, and Ultras all have the same energy. Big, scary looking plays - but when you see them used against pros, all they really seem good for is losing a ton of value very, very quickly.

Hey guys its been over 6 years since i last played stacraft and a few years since ive seen one of Lowko's videos. Just wondering how the state of the game is now and whether i should get back into it lol.

Not that i could do any better but there was a lot of sloppy play in this one. Move commands, nukes under photon cannons, so many missed repairs and that tactical jump in the beginning straight into toss...

@toughqs1991 Uh... there were a crap tonne of mistakes, starting with mis-microing his first two Stalkers and losing them both - early game mistakes are much more significant.

If protoss fooled around, he would be crushed by Terran. But here protoss struggles to beat Terran, who is not playing effectively, despite superior economy and upgrades... What a great balance.

12:31 marine+tank primarily with lots off marine drops are also the most enjoyable terran to watch ^^ with no more than few ghost as support and some raven, but again with support units in fewer numbers ^^
14:09 since this is such an importan spot and so close for attack, he needs to fill this area with wide spread pylon, photons and shield batteries and 1-2nexus for shield overcharge to batteries further back which heal the front structures and are harder to hit ^^ there is only upsides to creating such a defense.
when nukes start hitting you should have enough tempest to 1 shot them and enough oracles to revalation them, and FGS put up some photons so the gost can't get close enough to the mineral line without minimum detection on it. but pref not without the photon hitting it, a nuke for 1photon and 1 pylon yes tyvm
15:49 thats just awesome, and honestly late game it's much better, it can teleport away if it smells danger and it can kill reinforcements when they come alone, it can merge with other dt or just counter attack or clump up on reinforcement paths 6 dt ambushing reinforcements at different spots would be very efficient, especially with teleport.
and their cost is not that much more than an observer which is just auto sniped by every pro T player; its like their eyes has invis notice on them (yes hawk eyes)^^

Terran can last that long and come that close to winning doing the equivalent of mashing the same single button attack in Tekken. A well deserved loss for the cheesey ez mode race.

@@TheNerdForAllSeasons Not sure it could be genuine Protoss salt lol. Protoss have become the whiny race since the game when f2p lol. I think new players naturally gravitate towards cool techy Protoss, but they're too lazy to learn builds so they just get destroyed and can't make it past low Diamond.

nuke is useless imo, only time they work at all is when you do 2-3 at a time in different spots during other attacks. but i’d rather spend all that ghost/nuke $ on units. imagine spending all the nuke $ on 3/3 upgrades instead! way more value
