I'm serious man, BTS is one of a kind. They are incredible in their solo projects, each member has broken world records, but when they get together they are monsters, extremely talented. And their live performances are just insane.

I can't remember who create it but it was very well made and I actually watched and was so impressed with BTS even more. The song "Run BTS" , "Airplane pt 2" "dionysus" and "Black Swan" - is also amazing,TBH all of their music is good no matter what you listen to. Everyone 1 in this group are extremely talented :) Suga/Agust D right now is on tour doing his solo. His album is called Dday its the 3rd solo album for Agust D. - check it out.

fake love is actually about faking love for yourself, the lyrics make it seem like it's a breakup typa song but it's actually deeper than that , like one of the members said " you can't love anyone unless you love yourself first " this love yourself album trilogy is based on this , fake love is more about the way we wear a fake mask for the world never really show our true self because we don't love ourselves but we expect others to love our fake self that we show them , the love yourself album trilogy is something that has changed my perspective of life tbh , bts really are special artists who actually put in effort in their art , none of their songs that they write are meaningless , they always have a different message than what we usually see in other artists music

Thank you for your reaction. Mic Drop isn't when they popped off in the US. That's just when American award shows couldn't ignore them anymore. Actually the songs Dope, Fire & DNA are the ones that got them a ton of western fans.

The line “I’m sorry mum but your son is killing it”. Basically suga’s parents was against the idea of him becoming an idol they wanted him to work a proper job according to them. But they know believe in him and support him. Mic Drop was basically a song to their haters
BTS has such an extensive discography that whenever someone says they have an interest in listening to BTS, I never know what song, era, music video to start with 😭All of their stuff is so good and creative!
I'm a 68year young nan from New Zealand and I introduced my 15 year old granddaughter to BTS two years ago. I love all their music artistry and agree individually they are talented in voice & dance and creative in writing and producing their artistry in a visually impressive way. Whose my bias....ALL of Them even now as they come of age in their solo careers Ive loved the transition from Boys to Men each uniquely recreating themselves #NanFanFromNZ ❤💚💙💜🤎🖤🧡

Butter live at the Grammys is a MUST to see, they had one day to rehearse as a group (2 members got covid right before and Jin had hand surgery) and they freaking NAILED it

They have choreographers for the dance part, but they also contribute to that. Also they do compose, write and produce most of their songs ( they also have producers/writers in their team tho, it's not 100% them all the time).
But the main idea is they are very involved in everything and the music is their own message, it's not just handed to them.

bts are self-directed artists so they have a lot of control over their careers and releases. they are highly self-motivated and team (bts) focused despite all 7 of them being highly successful as solo artists. they proudly say how they want to remain a group til there old and grey. they have a large team behind them supporting them to help their vision come through. they don’t choreograph their own stuff but they work closely with the choreographers/backup dancers to decide what works for them. they’re amazing and once in a lifetime artists TRULY. i would love to see you react to their 2019 MMA performance it’s one of the most spectacular performances i’ve ever seen. it was for an award show, not even their own concert! i also recommend a guide to the bts members: the bangtan 7 by taylor mari to get to know the members as individuals.😊

I enjoy your reactions. My favorite live Idol performance is the one they did for the Jimmy Fallon show during the pandemic. They filmed it in Korea and streamed it to Jimmy’s show. They’re all wearing their Hanbok, traditional Korean clothing. They do it in front of a palace, and it’s very powerful. It’s incredible that all 3 of these MVs have surpassed 1 Billion views!!!
I have listened and watched idol a few hundred times but that was the first time I saw that video clip... It's ducked up. I love it!
They are awesome!!! Nobody even comes close to them at all; yes they are all VERY talented, sing, dance, write, produce and all college educated. There's a Guide to BTS, forgot the complete name, but the one updated since May 2022 is very good. Also live, MMA 2018, that has IDOL, oh my goodness, just incredible!!! You should watch any of their MAMA award show performances. They go all out for all their performances, but for award shows, the production level is over the top.
I remember that I was 10 when I discovered BTS in 2018 through Fake Love, 5 years later and I still love them.

Glad you are giving them a chance. BTS is different. I am a 58 year old African American woman, and they have captured my attention like no other group ever has. I have been listening to them for 7 years now, and thye never cease to amaze me. You should also check out some of of their individual projects. Oh, and I don't know if they can be considered a "Boy Band" anymore considering that they are all in their mid to late 20's, and early 30's.

Can I recommend On Kinetic Manifesto, and for early days BTS I suggest No More Dream or War of Hormone. The last 2 songs are about 9 to 10 years old, but still fire, and you can see the boys in their younger selves

You're coming into the Fandom right at the perfect time. It's their 10 year anniversary (June 13th to be exact. 💜) so you have A LOT of music to choose from. If you want to learn more about the group, there are plenty of videos on that too. War of Hormone is an oldie but goodie, same with Fire, On is another good one, DNA, and ANY solo or unit song.
As for other K-Pop groups, I'm partial to ENHYPEN, Tomorrow x Together, and BlackPink. ENHYPEN just released some new stuff but you can't go wrong with anything from them, same with TxT.
There’s a Mic Drop + Idol Performance from a past concert that is actually epic. Fake Love best performance for me is MMA 2018. Dynamite and Butter - I recommend the Grammy Performances. For live performance in general, I really like Festa Room Live 2021
Really enjoyed your reaction! ☺️ For live performances you should watch the BTS MMA 2019 (It's actually an award ceremony, not their own concert, but it's absolutely insane! It may appear long, but it's a must watch!)
Other options are the BTS Tiny Desk Home Concert (it's a seated mini concert, but it's still very fun since you can hear their amazing vocals), which has Dynamite in it. The other one is the BTS Room Festa Live (it's similar to the Tiny Desk concert, but it's a medley of BTS' songs and their vocals and group chemestry really shine here)
you should check out their behind the scenes for their music videos, they’re actually insane and you can see just how much is actually real and how little cgi they use
One thing that I absolutely love about them but sadly can get lost in translation is their lyricism. Idol in particular has a lot of hidden meanings within it. The webpage "Doolset" has some really good and detailed translations for their songs, and the youtube page "DKDKTV" has gone over a few of their songs (Including Idol) giving a Korean perspective to their lyrics

There are hundreds upon hundreds of live performances and all of them are available online somewhere, like seriously I’ve been a fan for 5 years and I still find ones I’ve never seen or songs I’ve never heard. Wait until you learn how diverse their discography is. Their roots are hip-hop, but over the years, they cover so many different musical genres and they aced them. The seven members brought their own specific capabilities and taste of music that's why they were able to pull off so many genres. Hip hop, R&B, soul, jazz, pop, latin, EDM, you name it. And because they wrote most of their own music and lyrics, the songs carry so much of their emotions and thoughts.
BTS is releasing a new ot7 song “ Take Two ” on 9th of june (1 PM KST ) as their 10th anniversary gift for ARMY 💜.
