It will bring players right into epic Sci-Fi adventure, as they will play as 4 sections (security, recon, science, engineering) onboard the first human ship with the possibility to reach outer space. Campaign will introduce the unique story written by Krzysztof Piskorski (Tainted Grail) full of hard player choices, twists and branching storylines. The game will come with over 100 different Crew members, each with unique characteristics. Gameplay is divided into 2 main stages: Ship phase and landing on planets. During the Ship phase, players will manage their ship (binder with printed sleeves), where every section will have to make gameplay decisions. Then, you will prepare your crew for landing on the next planet, in search of answers to humanity's biggest questions. Together you will pick lander and customize it with modules, then each section will choose a crew member to take on a mission ( more experienced crew members will have better ranks ), deck-build skills deck, take equipment and choose dices for his character. During all phases of the games players will be directed to Log-book, consisting story encounters, often written in the form of action-packed dialogues between the characters." *Media Inquiries: rollingsologamer@gmail.com* *Want to support the channel? I have a playthrough of ISS Vanguard on the go and am so in love with the game. I love to see coverage of the game and to see the choices others make and how the different planets play out. In step 4 of the Production ship module, it says you may slot as many production cards as you space for in your production queue. Is there a reason you only slotted the one production job?
@@RollingSolo You did slot all of your jobs into page 13 but you could have added two more jobs into production queue 1, stages 1 and 3. Each stage in the production queue can hold a separate job, similar to the med Bay. With the research jobs, they stay in the awaiting bag until you spend a command token to go to the research module. So you did play that correctly.
We have really been enjoying the game. Love watching other people playing through and their decision making. Quick question - why not max out production queue one, as you could have also started Section Tools (starting stage 3) and Pelican Lander (starting stage 1)? Quick clarification (23:43) - you state your section deck is up to 10 cards. Per the rule book pg 36. Section Deck needs a minimum of 10 cards, there is no maximum card count. 🙂
It’s a great solo experience for sure! I will get more cards into the Production Que for the next video (retroactively). Correct, misstated maximum instead of minimum. Thanks for the feedback!
Hi, I first started with campaign games with ATO, and it was a really nice experience, and I am really enjoying it so far (Cycle 1 done), and it even make like more this kind of games that the Games Workshop stuff. Wanting to grab another one now that I am about to travel to the US, so I can play it once I get over Cycle 2 and Cycle 3, before 4 and 5 arrive next year. Which game you would recommend or pick if you have to choose between ISS Vanguard or Tainted Grail? Thanks!
ISS Vanguard would be my recommendation out of the two. Both are great but Vanguard is better. The next iteration of TG looks much better but it isn’t out yet.
@@RollingSolo thanks for the quick response! I ll go with vanguard them! And it also like in the future so completely different thematic to ATO might be nice! And also if you are saying there is a newer version coming for tainted grail maybe better waiting for that one!
This game is basically a single experience correct? I looked A LOT into it and I can count in one hand the amount of people that say they like replaying it
I am still on the fence about buying this. I am worried that its just a puzzle game hidden behind a brutal survival mechanic. I had to house rule Tainted Grail because it had a similar problem for me.
the fullfillment of the game is a mess so far. so many people waiting for the game to be delivered but its not visible on the horizon yet. and even the not english versions will be very very late. maybe in 18 month or even never. i would have loved to back this game but the developer has started to delete questions from backers on gamefound and i think this is very shady behavior. there are so many better developers and games out there i can easily skip this one.
Wave 1 is delivered an i see only people asking for the timetable if they choice single shipment. AR updates the timetable for wave 2 and other languages quite frequent and it hasn’t shifted much. At BGG there are no negative people about fulfillment. So i don’t know what negative experience you had, but generalizing with “fullfillment is a mess” is not a valid point.
Hey! I’d say the opposite from everything I’ve seen. Sounds like your experience involves something outside the norm. Awaken Realms are very well known for delivering games and providing updates and Q&A along the way as well. Hope things get sorted out for you or the game arrives in the future if it’s delivering to a more remote location. Cheers!

You bet! Hope you enjoy this and the exploration to come. ;D
If you've only played the tutorial mission before this one shouldn't the rank 2 recruits be in resting? and only have rank 1 recruits available
I was under the same impression
Thanks for watching! I’ll have to look into this more. Cheers!

Hey Addison! That’s certainly a part of the magic with this one. It can play out differently based on a number of factors. 👍🏼

Where did you get the game mat from? Space background is much better than plain black for this game.
Got it from Game Toppers! Thanks for watching Sam. 😄
Do all versions of the game come with these components seen in this video? Like the binder?
Yes indeed!

I would recommend that approach! You could always jump on the new version which I think is open for late pledge atm?
Reminds me of original Star Trek, 👍
Hey Sam! I can see what you mean. Enjoy 😄
This game is basically a single experience correct? I looked A LOT into it and I can count in one hand the amount of people that say they like replaying it
This is a two play game imo. You won’t see everything the game has to offer in one play. So it has at least two in it.
@@RollingSolo thanks, ill just get something else
Sounds good!

This plays different and is it’s own experience in comparison to TG.
Yippee-Ki-Yay
🔥 This is what I like to hear! 😜

It’s only the beginning! 😜
