The way you beamed with pride and admiration while talking about Yoongi's hard work and passion for music... I couldn't relate more. You described him and his approach to music so perfectly, it reminded me yet again why he has been my bias from the start. Thank you for always appreciating him with unclouded mind for who he truly is and what he is capable of.
I loved that moment too 😭 reminded me of one time in one of the past livestreams when Jino said something like how yoongi despite being such a successful and rich star today he’s not the kind of guy u can imagine to drive around in a fancy car with pretty girls tucked by his side, lol. Instead of the stereotypical image of a mega celebrity he’s the kind of guy who would fall asleep by the desk in his studio with headphones on late at night. His passion for music shines so much through his work ugh it’s so amazing and the purity of it is so endearing somehow

For me Suga reusing flows is a signature thing. I hear it and I'm like yes! Just like the "suga". I'm sure some might find it cliche, corny but others look forward to hearing it. Never would think of it as a "pitfall" because he knows exactly why he does it that way because he's capable of doing it the other way
same. it’s very much intentional, and feels like he’s building this rich world of motifs and references, which includes his flows. for me the self-referencing is something i look forward to in both his and bts’ music.

Same. I found him 'hmmm' on Suga's Interlude seems revolutionary (for his style), but he repeated it on 3 other songs. But I found it to be a 'continuation' that these songs was made with that hmmm sentiment.

You said it, Jino! Yoongi is in the industry for the right reason: Music! He hones his craft and lives for it. Daechwita attests to his experimental mind and attention to detail, from variation of rhythm and flow to inspired use of traditional instruments. This is a 9.9 for me!
There's a reason I love that they're able to produce mixtapes on their own and can do whatever they want musically. It's self expression without limits and we get to see Yoongi's amazing abilities in full force. His first mixtape broke my heart because he doesn't shy away from his struggles and while this one is deep, I don't think it has the emotional punch that his first one did. I haven't cried... yet but I haven't ruled that out entirely either. Yoongi was also a troll by teasing us saying that we shouldn't expect it soon and then drops without any REAL warning. That's why I love this man to pieces.

For me, Jimin will always be my ultimate bias because he brought me to BTS. That aside, Yoongi/Suga/Agust D will always be my rap ultimate bias because you can count on him to ALWAYS come for your neck. I have deep appreciation for RM and J-Hope, but as someone who is a hip hop fan since the birth of hip hop, there's something about Suga's rap style (ESPECIALLY when he's channeling Agust D) that I vibe with to the core.

You can really see how much they've improved. How much they're polishing themselves especially this year. It make me so excited for the next album. Cause seriously all of them are really improving. Wether it's rapping, singing, dancing, or even just pure production value. Its really insane. It's world class
When Jino elaborate about 'world-class mixing', Yoongi (and Namjoon too) has polished their craft more than a decade. There will be a room for perfection - and the same, downfall. But result never betrays process.
I've heard Yoongi refer to his character as "the mad king" and his other character as the revolutionary who overthrows him. No mention of "Masquerade." And he also made theorists look like clowns basically saying "sometimes a scar is just a scar". If anyone has evidence to the contrary, I would legitimately like to know about it though.

I appreciate all the work that translators put into subtitles, but it is VERY helpful as a non Korean speaker to hear the exact translation along with some explanation if we need more info to understand! There is a song called "Tony Montana" on August D's first mixtape track 8. He is a character in the movie "Scarface," chasing only money and ruining his eyes. "Daegita" is interpreted as an autobiographical story that follows "Tony Montana" four years ago, and the blonde suga looks like a king, but has no real king's clothes and locks. In addition, the song was likened to the unfinished King Gwanghaegun because of tyranny. The black-haired suga, on the other hand, is modestly dressed, but she says she is the king and has the royal lock and chaki. On the frame of the background, there is a kanji written below "bulbogeumok". This means "don't be a slave to money." The last black-haired suga seems to be telling her story about not to be a monster that chases money by sniping a blonde suga.

BTS rap line mixtapes are always gold and comforting in different ways. JHope's is a bit dark but very fun and hopeful just like his name. RM's is at first aggressive but turned dark and lonely and crying while embracing your sadness and loneliness type of vibe. Suga/AgustD is very aggressive with bragging here and there but comforting in a way by seeing and facing that harsh reality in a very raw way. I dont know I just feel like I can relate to how they express their feelings in their mixtapes. I wanna bop my head, cry my eyes dry or rip out my heart and hair😂
Actually Yoongi says this songs was the last adding to D2 and was made for fans enjoy.
