Namjoon’s lyrics in Born Singer pull my heartstrings so bad every single time. It’s so raw, honest and genuine. I really respect BTS as an artist and also an individuals, they’ve been this genuine since day 1
It's probably going to sound weird to some, but I'm really glad they're taking this break because they're clearly tired, stressed, and not happy. It bothered me and I felt so selfish when I realized that they are doing things to make me happy while they are not. so I wish they would enjoy their time and live their lives the way they want and deserve. No matter how long it takes, I will always love and support them. They have my blessing and I look forward to the next chapter when they are ready!
Until then, I’ll be here for their individual activities and projects, while watching run BTS.

Basically it is the time that they outgrew chapter one. This doesn’t stop them from being BTS but gives them the time to grow individually as a person and comeback as BTS whenever they wish.

I understand all the extra curricular activities like being spokesperson because I think they earned that spot too BUT those just made them limited in expressing not just to their music but also within themselves. Expectations would grew and the weight to their shoulders would just get heavier and that worned them out. They’ve been running so hard and passionately to things they didn’t even need to do hence loosing their direction as Namjoon said. I just hope in the next chapter of their career, everything would align. Struggles are inevitable but I hope they will overcome it. I trust BTS and ARMYs will always be by their side no matter what.

I've watched the 2022 Festa dinner video numerous times. I cry every time. I appreciate your take on this and I think your observations were very astute. I'm a 68 yr. old ARMY, so my perspective is slightly different than the younger ARMY. BTS came into my life in Jan. 2020. When the world turned upside down and then locked down, BTS got me through some dark days. They made me laugh and their music was a revelation. When I couldn't leave my house even to hold my first newborn grandchild, I fell down the proverbial BTS rabbit hole and they got me through a mental wasteland. I am forever grateful and I want them to have actual personal lives. Fall in love, fall out of love, hang out with friends. Spend time with their families. Just normal shit. All the things in life that shape and enrich us as humans. Since this video, the solo efforts have come out, Jin and now Hoseok have enlisted and things are rolling right along. I do have some sadness regarding JK. I have watched his vlives, from start to finish. He seems a bit lost. "My plan is to have no plan", spoken like a true 25 yr old. But he is smart. He'll get it together. I am ARMY, these are good humans and I will support them until the end. Apo Bangpo! Hang in there, ARMY! The best is yet to come!
Rewatching the BTS Festa 2022 with you again, I can now see how everything the guys shared with us makes so much sense now! JHope's solo album & activities, RM's album even Jin's comment about a song he received were things they were working on before they released it! Jimin was the only one who couldn't see himself as a soloist but just officially announced his album release date! I'm so happy and proud of all they are free to do all the things they wanted to do and finally have the time to do it, since this aired!
I'm sad, but I'm also happy that BTS are in a position where they can decide for themselves what's best for their career. As I've always done, I'll support and love them no matter what. I always knew that BTS has it really hard, but when they express it themselves it hurts so bad that they feel like they have to apologize, or explain themselves, and even after this video dropped, the antis, journalists, and different media sources have taken their words and twisted them and spreaded so much misinformation. And the members had to explain themselves once again. It's so frustrating, but real ARMYs will support the members regardless
Saw lots of over analysing in the comments, people just projecting their thoughts on them , hope jungkook's live and especially joon's letter cleared things up. Take their words as they are, they shared in clear terms what they wanted with ARMYs and that's that. No need to make up theories on their behalf or for them.
But do not expect anything as a group from them. Whatever JK and RM tried to follow up, they literally struggled seriously. They are free now, so let them be.
@@eukue I don't know what you mean by they are free coz yes they were struggling with an artist block as a group feeling themselves stagnant and they deserve a break and taking time to rejuvenate just like any other artist. Not expecting anything from them as a group for the time being but that doesn't mean they are not still bangtan and that they will come back together when they want. Plus they all got a lot to show us an individual artists with their different colors. They are not going anywhere.

Tbh I am worried about Nj the most. The way he said other members are good at performing as if he isn't and he just goes along is really heartbreaking to me. I have really felt like he doesnt get much appreciation in this fandom. Like his leadership gets talked abt a lot in the fandom and outsiders talk about his english. This has reduced him to just as a spokesperson and the one who speaks English. I wish armys praised his performances too bcoz whenever they upload a performance not a single soul talks about his. The comments say "best leader" even when the video is not about leadership. When bts was not that big he used to get a lot of collab opportunities but not anymore (maybe he doesn't want to collab or other artists have known by now that they won't get much clout and chart higher due to lesser support if they choose him) and now he just collabs with globally lesser known artists. I feel bad even if it's his choice bcoz the song doesnt get much attention despite being good. He must have felt like he's nothing without bts. He has played biggest role in bts discography and is essence of their lyrics but gets paid dust. So I'm worried whether armys will support his work or not. He'll make new fans for sure but that doesn't mean instant loyalty. So i hope all armys remain loyal and support all members equally.
I also noticed that RM is often praised for his great leadership in BTS, his good English and eloquent speeches and interviews. But not enough appreciation for his songs or any collaboration. When Yoongi mentioned that some young songwriters had approached him for advices, Namjoon was surprised and maybe slightly disappointed that they didn't go to him. He jokingly/sarcastically said were they afraid that he might speak English with them.
Lately Suga had been known for quite a few great productions such as Samsung On the Horizon, Girl of my Dream, Coldplay My Universe Remix, Stay Alive, That That. Of course, there is no rivalry among the members but all of them are passionate about their music and wanted to do well.
Hmm. I don't know how much and what of what they see gets to them. I hope RM sees us fan and squeal over his incredible command as a performer, the delightful way he rides the beat and embellishes every song he's on, his prowess as a lyricist and songwriter. Actually, I belive he most definitely knows all of that in theory, that we think he's an incredible artist. But of course, realistically, the heart often takes the negative comments, the hurtful thoughts, in deeper. So though his brain knows it, I can see negativity polluting his thoughts when he's vulnerable

Some of what u said is not true at all... But i agree with people over saying best leader about namjoon videos when even the video is not about leadership, when its just him being goofy or performing.... It annoys me alot
I'm watching this more than one year after and thinking in hindsight, so much of what you said happened, especially the weird solo fans and the backlash part of the fandom against their growth and less "meaningful" lyrics. With Seven we could see exactly that, as if they weren't allowed to express trivial things, because sometimes you just want to release a banger, not a deep philosophical or political piece. I also noticed some people kind of not liking this new Yoongi, who is brighter than before, as if he should continue in that angst vibe forever. I'm so happy to see that he could overcome so much and live a happier life. People who have been in this dark place know how scary it is and how precious this brightness is.
This so-called hiatus is being so important for them to grow as people and find new boundaries (either expanding their horizons or setting some limits for others, including ARMY). Everyone has the right to have freedom to just be themselves and not be afraid of how they will be seen or to disappoint others. They need space to live for themselves, they dedicated far too long to others. Also, if they are always afraid of showing their opinions and feelings now, how can they be sincere in their craft, something that was always praised before? We should be happy that these 7 people we adore have the opportunity to live happily and by their own terms. They may be where they are thanks to the fandom, but we, by any means, own them or their lives. They are their own people, and we should never forget that.

Actually jk went live yesterday and cleared many things that made misunderstanding, [they aren’t going into a “hiatus” bighit said the subs were wrong] also k-armys corrected a lot of wrong subs in the video, the translator just made a mess , and jk in his live said that they won’t separate or disband or any thing they will just take rest and focus more in individual projects for a while and he said there still many projects as a group aren’t out yet and more to come in the future and said “bts will be forever “😂😭and they will still continue doing run bts together, also joon in weverse cleared many things.
They are tired and of course they need to rest , it’s been 10 years and they faced many many hardships, but jk’s words just makes you feel that it won’t take that long .. maybe 2 years or something and the group work won’t STOP
Also this might be because of the military service, there is a news that the members will release a video about this next week

The word just has a negative connotation in the west from groups using this word and then never restarting activities together. At the time of the Festa it seemed like filming Run BTS was just an idea. They promised it because people freaked out. Hybe lost a lot of money in one day. That is also BTS’s money. They are invested in the success of Hybe. This is their job.

I will support each individual in whatever they do and wish them all well in completing their military service with no major injuries or mental health struggles. K-pop is different from western artists though in the amount of input the company has. BTS has been given more creative freedom than most but they are still under Hybe. K-pop contracts have even been called slave contacts. Western artists who have worked with them have stated that they are heavily managed and you can tell this is true by the amount of staff and that their managers follows them around.
*OK I JUST WANNA SAY THIS BECAUSE WATCHING THESE LIVESTREAMS, FOR SOMEONE WHO BIASES JHOPE YOU DON'T LISTEN TO HIM WHEN HE SPEAKS SERIOUSLY TBH OR YOU DON'T BELIEVE HIM (or think he's joking).* Jhope is a listener, if you notice in all their festas the members always describe him as someone who listens to everyone before he says his piece and that's why he balances RM & Suga who are the talkers, they respect him a lot in that aspect. Jhope is assertive too but not arrogant. He doesn't like to step on people because of his own greed but when things needed to be said he will say it one on one to that specific person. That's why everyone from the group vents to him the most, even jimin vents to him and jimin is seen as the most empathetic. Jhope is an action person, even if he's scared of new things he never backs out. He walks the talk. I admire this brave trait. He is smarter than you probably think, he calculates and plans a lot of things but he's not braggy about all these. We will know when he wants us to know.
Just wanted to say this because I like this channel and I love hobi. I love that his face will show what he feels and how he's honest like that. For a group with dominant personalities like bts I like seeing him be observant and know when to step back, when to lighten up the atmosphere if everyone feels off and when to be serious. He is incredibly intuitive in that sense. I admire him.

For the past 9 years going 10, it' s been rough and tough for them. At first, the need to prove themselves that they are worthy to be acknowledged, and came 2016 they skyrocketed to fame and next years passed by it has been unstoppable for them. They made music, album,concerts here and there, social media contents, endorsements, guesting, and I mean they got burned out. This is the perfect time for them to take a break from being in a group and explore what they really want to do..they are already in their mid 20s to early 30s..so they have to take a breather as solo artists or whatever endeavors in store for them and what will make them happy the most as an individual. They have already proven themselves as a group- no questions asked. They are worldwide phenomenon Kpop superstars!
As an Army, I will never stop loving and supporting them and in this time of their hiatus, I will love and support them most.
They will comeback stronger than ever.

Thanks Jino. I feel so much better. I agree RMs want for idealism took out the musician in him / what he wanted for BTS was idealism. I would be lying if I hadn't thought about it myself. I hope we get better music in times coming either as solos or a group from them.
This is my 3rd time or so watching this video ( between the day before and yesterday) I was emotional at rm's part and had a mixed bag of feelings. Of course happy for them all the way. But it's like sending ur sibling or daughter or son off to college. It's sad to see them go but u know they have to grow and learn as people and experience things. They don't need our permission to do that.
This video really helped me get more perspective. I can't even imagine the pressure they are under and the lives they are living that they can't do things I take for granted everyday. I don't cry at RM anymore because I'm in acceptance. I do believe that BTS will be back as a group someday and stronger than ever and I'm glad their still gonna do RUN BTS. I think military is a big part of itand them wanting to branch out more as artists. I wish them the best of luck in everything and I will always be following them and an ARMY. I do feel a little sad for those that just got into them as BABY Army and want new content but - hey people you have 9 YEARS worth of content from these guys, music videos, behind the scenes, documentaries, variety shows, trips, music performances, merchandise... tons of stuff to tide you and army over until their return not to mention their solo work as well.
It's bittersweet but they deserve a good LONG rest.

Totally agree Jino. The level of success they reached obviously became a burden when they started being pushed into the role of representing their country on an international scale... doing speeches at the UN, meeting politicians and visiting the white house... I think this started an idea that BTS's music and image had to be 'respectable' and 'family friendly' and this must've had a huge impact on what they felt they could talk about in their music... they were pretty edgy for kpop at one point and then their image became very tame and clean cut... I never felt like that was true to what they wanted to say or that they would be happy being stuck in that lane based on the guys I watched grow from the beginning. But how can you be meeting with the president and shaking hands and rubbing shoulders with politicians and then criticise the government or leaders in society in your music in the next breath... it's so much harder to do that when the weight of the expectations of your country and even global organisations like the UN are on you. So although I was proud of them for being acknowledged as role models and as young men who have achieved so much with good character and hard work... I also worried about how that would affect their art. I saw that indeed it did affect their art a lot over time.... it got to the point that BTS were releasing songs that didn't even sound like them....that had nothing to do with them or their authentic voices, or style or sound... and I knew there's no way that these guys, who I always respected as artists, would be happy with that... and a lot of fans could tell especially the fans who were around for a long time... but we weren't 'allowed' to talk about that before because others thought we were questioning their integrity... but it was never about that. You can just tell that situation got out of control, the pressure and expectations got too much and it was obvious it was going to affect the music and the direction of the group... how could it not? So although I'm sad we will probably not be getting the full BTS album of new music I was hoping for, or a world tour any time soon... I'm happy for them that they're taking a step back to get grounded and explore themselves as solo artists, hopefully with a bit less pressure and expectations of having to be some kind of perfect squeaky clean role model... because how can a perfect squeaky clean person like that really make art that breaks the mold and challenges anything? How can such a person even express the truth of their own experience truthfully without shattering that illusion? That's the chain that was holding them back from evolving and maturing as a music group and I'm glad they've freed themselves. Whenever they come back all together I'm sure they'll blow our minds and shake up the industry like they did before.

You summarized my thoughts on this. I used to blame Hybe a lot for this lack of direction, but after seeing this Festa, I think is a shared responsability (the group and the company), due to the absurd pace of their rise to international fame. Some things that probably appeared harmless, like speaking in the UN for the fisrt time, ended up bringing progressively more pressure and restraints over time. That`s detrimental for creativity and artistic freedom.

This break has been years in the making. Their bar is set so high. From Hybe to the negative comments, toxic armies, People who hate them for no reason ( subconscious jealousy). Racist comments, not letting them do adult things in peace. RM did not want to be the spokesperson for anything but music.(RM's body is beautiful). T

Jimin does amazing on his own, he just had a super well performing OST that he never even promoted it reached #1 in 100 countries faster than any artist in history including BTS. His solo song Filter is still #1 charted out of all BTS solos.... like y'all trippin' if you think Jimin NEEDS to rely on BTS. Plus he said he's working on his music, he'll be fine lmfao

I also think that they can't write because they aren't able to have real life experiences. They can't have relationships freely, they can't drink and smoke freely. You said they can't sing "shake that ass" but when do they have the time to see asses shake to sing about, lol. I think they need time to explore the world and life as their individual selves. Grow and mature as their individual selves. Experience things as their individual selves. And this is what they are going out to do. The words will flow so freely once they are able to do that. The songs will just come. And it's our responsibility as Army to allow them to do that. If we want what's best for them and want great music, we have to be ok with this and understand the process. I love my BTS and will be ARMY for life. 💜
I agree with this 100%. Yoongi said he has nothing left to say and I believe it’s because they haven’t been able to really LIVE since they debuted. Artists get inspiration from experiences and if all of their experiences revolve around performing nonstop as BTS you’re inevitably going to run out of things to say. They need time to live life, explore, have relationships, etc. in order to gain experiences that create that inspiration to write again. Of course I’ll miss BTS group music and concerts, but so what. They deserve to live their lives and I have 10 years of content to watch and rewatch along with their solo content going forward. I just want them to be happy. And this is clearly what they want and need in order to be happy. 💜

I think if you look back at the statement BigHit put out December 2021, about BTS’s vacation, you will find this process has already begun. They started putting out solo work the same month with Girl of My Dreams and it has continued all year with more solo songs, collabs, and albums coming out this summer. We started talking about how their break wasn’t one for us. Sure we may not get 0T7 concerts and new music for a while, but that doesn’t mean we won’t be busy supporting members individual endeavors💜
Actually, BTS has said a lot of times that hobi is the quiet listener when serious talks come up and only speaks after he understands other perspectives. 🤗 They've mentioned it in other festas! I loved just about everything you said here Jino, I do disagree about some of the j-hope comments? I think j-hope has always expressed a desire for BTS to stay together even saying he struggled with "who is Jung hoseok without BTS". But he's smart and desires to change and evolve as an artist, he knows doing solo work will benefit all of them and will also give him more room to grow. Even if something challenges him or puts him out of his comfort zone he throws himself into it to improve. So I guess I agree that he is VERY EAGER for this but I don't think it's out of a desire to not do BTS work but a desire to have time and space to improve and move forward? (as you can see he was quietly emotional throughout the dinner) Hope this doesn't sound like a criticism! Of course I don't know him personally I'm just observing so I could be wrong. Just sharing some thoughs.

I feel like a lot of Army on Twitter are really downplaying the reality of what the future is going to look like...treating it like another break. I don't think things will ever be the same again. And I don't think we'll see ot7 music or performances for a very long time. And as necessary as that may be...ugh, it's hard.
it's going to be 4+ years before they're a proper group again, especially if the military is involved. I've seen off seasons with other kpop groups and after the first year they stop doing those cute little "Group activities."

I have such respect for the seven of them and looking forward to their solo work (along with run bts woooo)btw Namjoon and Yoongi have pointed out that Hobi is actually the listener. JINO, just THANKS! I've watched so many videos on BTS and your post here is the BEST! Great idea to combine the Proof LIve Performance and Festa 2022. Would love for all my friends who know how I feel about BTS would watch it. They would have a new respect for them. I am eagerly awaiting what is in store for them and US! And you have a new fan, too.....ME! OH and thanks, too, for your positive comments about V. I'm an alto/baritone and love his singing and speaking voice.

I always worried about how much they had to do at all times for so long. I'm glad they're taking a break. It's like they're working 5-10 full time jobs. I didn't think about Jin's enlistment but it makes so much sense that that will be playing a role as well. I'm sure that Yoongi wouldn't be that far behind considering he's only a few months younger. I think the fact that so many of them are working on solo projects means that there will be a lot of content coming out anyways so it's not like we're going to be starved for new music. I'm curious about the other stuff V said he wanted to share as well. Maybe his photography or more acting or something else?
Either way, I think getting the freedom to live and grow and make mistakes and learn and use all of that as fuel in putting new messages into their music. I also hope those of them who want to try finding love and romance get that chance as well. We've heard of Jin wanting to be married and RM wanting the be a dad so maybe they can begin the first steps to those dreams. I prefer them as a group but it sounds like there will be collabs with each other and I love them individually enough to enjoy their solo stuff.
Yeah jin's enlistment time is really near and there is no signs of exemptions but tbh I think that is a very secondary reason for this whole thing.
The main reason seems like the growing expectations and then not being able to deliver it coz they dont feel for it like namjoon mentioned he doesn't understand where this group is going after dynamite.
I have a feeling they think have lost their identities not only as a group but also as individuals as you can make out with joon's speech. They are tired of fitting into a narrative that fans media and everyone around them has set. Joon mentioned that they have summed up everything they want to say in the song yet to come and Hobi's verse in the song talks about how they aint about those things.
At the same time, I think they want to work as individuals as well If you look at their recent interviews they have talked a lot about idivisuality bts have always been marketed as a unit 7 or nothing even when they put out solo stuff like mixtape, collabs, ost a very big part of fandom initially shows resentment towards the whole thing coz they are always fed in 7 or nothing format. I am not generalizing coz ik and just like tae said 90% of our fans will support. Like I remember recently when lollapalooza was announced if we remove that 10% who were not happy most of armys were again tying it all to other members not sayings its bad its just armys cant see them as individuals. Same when In the soop was announced a lot was sad as it not with bts, same for CP X JK collab.
All in all I am happy they are taking rest and will do things how they want to do and whatever they want to I am really happy for them.
@@jyoti9105 I agree. I think the enlistment is only one part of their decision, but the biggest part is that they've run themselves ragged pushing to be the best and give us their all. They've also had their BTS personas since they were teens and now they're heading into their 30s. It's only human for them to want to live actual lives as individuals. I just want the best for each of them and I don't want them to grow unhappy and resentful toward their music or Army because they feel forced to produce in the way we expect. Even things like Bon Voyage and In the Soop are only kinda like vacations because they still need to be constantly doing things and being entertaining as content creators. I think any true Army would prioritize their happiness and mental health over us getting content. Especially since they are still going to release material anyways. I hope fans rally together and support each member on all of their projects so they know we still love all of them as people and not the idea of them as a group. I really hope people don't just focus on their bias and ignore the others.

You are so right Jino: nothing is gonna be the same after this break. BTS and ARMY won't be the same. That's why I'm so sad, because it is really the end of everything as we know it. BTS is great because the sum of the parts and it would be challenging to get the same hype for the music from individual members. Solo stans will are already breaking the fandom and would created more damage when the boys release their solo music. I hope ARMY get ready for what is coming. The "breaking records" has ended.
i don't think the change will be as drastic bc they're not exactly on hiatus, they will still be doing group activities, but instead they'll focus more on individiual music. however it's undeniable that solo stans will grow bigger and there will also be new fans of specific members which is normal since they will release solo music and promote themselves as solo artists. i think as long as they're still a group, the fandom isn't going anywhere, but i can see some changes definetely, especially in terms of solo stans.
I think the greatest value between creators and viewers in art is empathy, and we, including you, are at that stage. Isn't this feeling of happiness that all of us, including ARMY, feel as we assimilate into their music a blessing of this era? BTS has opened a new chapter of empathy for the times beyond the relationship between producers and consumers. They have been with Fandom 'ARMY' for 10 years, including the Covid-19 era, and that's a fact I don't need to glorify.

Sometimes one same song may sound different and even better under another format or on another environment, this presentation was waayyy better, it sounded perfect, the studio version was good YET this live version was out of this world. I felt it since the very beginning, specially YET TO COME. I´m not a music expert or anything like that but I´m 52 yrs old, and my ear became kindda expert, I went through Michael Jackson, Prince, Queen, Madonna, etc etc and I can honestly say BTS is a pehnomenon, and their Live Versions as the BEST. Loved JIN and V´s voice.
I'm glad they're getting to take time to just be people, just be musicians. You don't get to set a nice easy going schedule when you're this HUGE, so why would you desire to keep working yourself half to death, you'd know it was time to develop inside now. They now have the money anyone could ever want so they have come to realize that you only have so much YOUTH in one lifetime to be able to enjoy parts of that youth, to meet people and fall in love and start a family, be lazy, to get to do things we've all done in our youth that they delayed in pursuit of this extreme level of greatness, this level of income and success. So what do you do when you've made plenty enough money so that money is no longer a main impetus pusing you onward, the goal, then you begin to look at all the things you can't buy with money and that fame can not provide you. Now it's time for them to have time FOR THEM and they surely deserve it and owe it to themselves and eachother.

47:32 Jino has a rant about BTS losing focus by going to the white house and being the spokesman for UNICEF or Stop Asian Hate, etc. I respectfully disagree as how Jino described BTS being the spokesman as what is making them lose focus. BTS & BH got together to create the entire #LoveYourSelf campaign. This is how BTS started out the gates from pre-debut. They strongly felt for kids being bullied in school and some harsh situations caused by the school system. They have lived this. They spoke up about it. They own it. It is everything they put into their music about self and encouragement. Their own experience. When RM says from Dynamite on, we lost our way. This means the pandemic. All they had planned went up in the air, and they started doing English songs. Other things were intended to follow MotS7, but that was robbed from they by the pandemic. So they started doing new stuff that was just music for comfort. It's been 2 and half years. They have to find themselves back to what they wanted to do. Music has changed. Demand to collab with BTS is at an all-time high. They are a household name in America. They really achieved everything that mattered and laid a huge foundation for any groups to follow, but the boys themselves with music, what do they yearn for? J-Hope said it over a year ago in a vlive, he said he wish we could go back to how it was in the beginning and the music they made in the beginning. The other members have been leading more songs esp in BE. Each member added a song with a theme and the other members were to add lyrics to it to see what worked. They competed with each other and RM's lyrics got turned down because they did not convey the feeling, in this instance, Blue & Grey, that V wanted to convey. I think he chose SUGA's lyrics. SUGA told him it's because you wanted to say too much. Back to RM was not able to publish or work on his music since he put out MONO in 2018. He promised over a year ago that this will be the year, 2022. Also, remember when he tried working on his music last year before the concert and years worth of work. He was functioning on probably no sleep and made that mistake. So speaking about UNICEF and Asian Hate coincides with their message and their music. One 2.5 min speech does not make them the spokesman. They just brought attention to the matter. THey are not flying the banners or anything like that. BTS stock shot up because of that visit, so it worked in their favor. It did not take over their music. It is a side event and a great opportunity. RM said it himself. The company did not hold a gun to RM and tell him to speak up during Black Lives Matter and say those words about them as Asians and how they were treated and them force them to donate 1M$ to the cause. Jino, I think you are missing perspective on that a bit. The company did not contact the White House. The White House reached out to BTS because of their own personal activism. BTS on their own time donates to many causes in society. It is not forced or a corporate schedule. RM talked with the guys and they agreed to drop everything to have the opportunity to speak about Asian Hate. The boys have been leading the company with their convictions. What they feel passionate about they do. So this break is a much needed and expected opportunity since we knew from INS first season that V and JK were already working on their mix tape and RM was pushing them to do so. This is about maturing into their own and finding their inner voice to for themselves. It was the end of the lease to the dorm. There is no better time. Mil srvc on their heals.
RM was out there swearing the most at the concerts. He was being himself. There was a couple people with their little kids hoping he would do that again, but nothing stops RM. He is not a kid anymore. It's like people who wanted JK to always look like a schoolboy and got crazy when he was growing out his hair. We can't call him Baby JK anymore. He has changed his image despite how people tried to control him like a doll. The tattoos are to fend off those corporations too trying to use him for sales. I'm sure BTS gets a lot of companies asking for them, BH probably brings them a short list and they consider what would work with their music promotion.
I somewhat agree with you that it may not be the UN /White House stuff that's making them lose focus and draining their energy. It could be more trying to fulfil the idol roles of being perfect, not dating, frivolous marketing (games, BT21 etc) that are dragging them down. Also, interesting take on JK's tattoos!

What you said about their relationship is sad heartbreaking. I have seen many ARMY on Twitter posting 'Oh sorry Yoongi or Sorry BTS but I got engaged or I'm getting married' and tagging the members. Yes it's good to share happiness but also think how they might feel, wishing and possibly longing for that type of friendship or relationship. I really hope they can find their happiness just like ARMY and the rest of the world do.

Most groups who stay around take breaks. Look at BonJovi or the Stones. People still love them.
BTS has 300+ songs, dance practices, Run BTS, etc. We have lots to listen and watch besides Proof and new solos.

This is why lately we get more substance to their MIXTAPES now because at least they have their own individual names like August D and not BTS. It just sucks they can’t express those same feelings and lyrics as the group BTS because of the image created.
