6 years and I still go back to this video so much so that I have it saved on my phone. Whenever I'd luckily chance upon a store that sells mochi blocks, I'd buy even though sometimes it costs more than it normally should. I have made over 40 mochi pizzas (some I've done shortcut and just used the waffle maker to make the crust) for myself, my family and friends. I don't think I'll ever get tired of it. Thanks for this wonderful recipe, Runny!

I've probably watched this particular video like 50 times. I've been wanting to make this recipe for a long time but I haven't had the time to drive all the way to the Japanese store to buy these mochi blocks. I've been craving this recipe for so long that last night I had a dream I was biting into a mochi pizza. I think its time for me to make time to get those ingredients........

wow I didn't know rice cake (mochi) can be a pizza crust it looked nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside this is a really good gluten free substitute to the regular glutinous pizza

Hello from Hawaii!!! Hope you are ok during our current pandemic situation! I just wanted to drop by and leave you a note. When you first put out this video, I made mochi pizza all the time!!! I was just craving this the other day so I bought a large bag of mochi because I missed eating this! I always used gochuchang instead of ketchup, though, because gochujang + cheese + mochi is AMAZING! Thank you for your videos! As a single person, it’s hard to cook single size portion meals so I was always happy you demo’d in smaller portions! Thank you for being around for 10+ years!

no, it's pretty much just rice. the texture is sticky and soft and chewy, it's so good n___n it can be sweet or salty though. most of the time i see it as a dessert.

I'm sorry but I didn't know ketchup for pizza sauce instead is not really acceptable for Westerner. In Japan, it's not that strange to use it for pizza or tomato sauce spaghetti. I may want to try tomato meat sauce next time.I make this. It'd be awesome!
    ケチャップをソースに使ったことに対して多くの外国人が喰いついてきた。ちょっと意外な反響でした。

@Rozencraft its actually flavorless, kinda chewy in texture, made from steamed glutanous rice then pounded into a sticky paste, there are many desserts made with it, so maybe that's why you think it's sweet! ^^
