Thanks for watching! I would highly consider the Sony ZV1, it's about $599 and will give you 4K and a little advance controls for video. I'd def go with that one as a starter. It doesn't have a zoom lens, but it should do enough with the 20mm wide lens. For video, Sony is def king! I need to get my hands on one, would love to make a video about it.
I recently bought a used G7X MK2 and I was surprised with the quality. I use it mainly for photography as a hobby photographer. The best thing is I got it for $170 which is a steal! It's kinda rare too I guess. I had to dig a little bit to get my hands on one. I gotta say that it's still great in 2024. Btw great video🔥
I have the Sony ZV E10 and was thinking about grabbing the G7X Mark II because it’s a tad smaller, but I feel like I might be downgrading. What do you think?
Yes, in my opinion that would be a big downgrade. Keep the ZVE-10 for the fact that you can change lenses and stay within the Sony realm. The video capability is nowhere near as good as the ZVE-10 and the quality you can get with interchangeable lenses. The G7X mark ii is a good compliment if you're looking for something compact - but the ZVE-10 is def the better option.
So I have owned both and I grabbed the mark II, a lot of people don't like the mark III, so if you are trying to make a decision - definitely grab the mark 2. :) Hope this helps! The only big difference is you can't live stream or use the mark II as a webcam... if you don't want or need that feature, then the mark 2 is perfect for photos and video.
@@cleo.creator What an upgrade! I took the same path but switched from the Canon M50 to the A7iii, months later the A7IV came out and I was lucky enough to get it. Love the flip screen and the easy switching from camera to video modes - I'll never go back! Do you use it mainly for photos or video?
Really thinking trading in my M43 set up for a G7xii for it to be my every day carry. Does anyone have experience with prints up to A3 size with the Canon?
Because of the sun, I keep the aperture at F4.0 & the iso at 100. This is usually a good combination if you’re shooting in the sun. It was in manual mode, which makes it easier to set these settings. 🎉
Love the video! You mentioned that there are better options for video at the same price, would you mind sharing which cameras those are?

Can you compare the mark ii and the mark iii because I saw there may be some issues with the mark iii such as overheating and it being flimsy

Thanks bro been trying to see if this was worth the purchase. What camera do you recommend for video then?
What's your budget? If you have an idea of what you want to spend, I can def help!
@@andyxmunoz I was looking for somethign around $400. I went with a gopro
@Weebhelp solid choice! All my POV on my videos are filmed with go pro!
Audio work well? or are you using an external mic?@@andyxmunoz
Sorry for the lint on my shirt everyone.
I am currently using the Sony a74 and love it
That's what I shoot all my main cam/talking head with - love it as well, it's a beast!
@@andyxmunoz Indeed! Considering I switched from Canon M50 it feels great

That's a really good question, I'm curious what the print quality would be too! Great question!
