- The LEGO Great Pyramid of Giza is a cool set, but it's got some weird quirks that hold it back from greatness.

It’s so pretty!
I love everything EGYPTIAN so I'm definitely getting this especially the history of their empires and mythology a must have. The Nile inclusion is a great bonus with that solid layered depth building technique and the mini boats have some clever parts usage, I like micro builds but have never really gotten into them but these wonders of the world sub theme are very appealing hope they make Hanging Gardens of Babaylon or even a more stylised Mount Olympus would be cool.
I'll be putting it right against the wall don't necessarily need a full pyramid as the illusion is created but would have preferred a full one with a more detailed interior with some booby traps love the other buildings included with the spire/tower and sphinxes and the overall foliage looks like a cracking build.

Thanks for the good review, have acquired this set and looking forward to the build.....I do agree with the creator, and have absolutely no problem with the obelisk which I thinks just adds to the ancient Egyptian Venere. But, each to their own.
Pyramid is almost allien tech
What about the Titanic quite modern in comparison but still historical but agree what they would have been is better than the incomplete versions we have today due to the passage of time having 2in1 options is something they could consider.
