As a Crypto main, I love the new crypto buffs. Forgot to add this: I go with the 25% larger passive and ult since I'm already good at flying his drone, and the hackathon one. The 1.5 second scan duration is nice, but 20 second cool down and speed boost is just better in my opinion

He actually extremely good for solos do to him have the integrated # of squads near you whenever you throw his drone
Only reason why i go drone handling bcos in theory bigger it seems better but when u think about it. His ult is already big enough to do EVERYTHING you need it to do and with a bigger ult you have to wait at a further range (just outside the radius) to avoid the dmg/slow effect.
Even tho I am good enough to handle the drone reguardless I am like eh why not maybe i can do some better movement stuff with it with better handling etc. Paired with me being good and handling it
@@RJxHunterz I do see where you're coming from, but with the Hackathon perk, the speed boost definitely helps you push and cover that extra little ground.
No one is talking about the newcastle buffs. He feels so much more fluid and viable. And his ult is just delicious now with the longer time and now EATS nades.

EXACTLY the tac change is amazing and being able to eat grenades means people can't spam u out of ur ult. It actually makes the second perk in level 3 viable I didn't even think about it before 😂😂😂.

Ballistics buff to his sling makes him super powerful. You just shouldn't put the wingman in your sling because it's pointless
Havoc on main slot and another Havoc in sling slot, with purple evo, teammates with more havoc... “Our foes will suffer the rage of outrageous fortune.”

29:02 Bruh, uses the worst weapons for upgrades in sling and says the perk is bad. He should've put in the RE-45 instead of the wingman, arguably the worst sling weapon.
no hate to tgm but yeah I agree. I don't even carry ammo for my slings because it's unnecessary. You play Apex perfectly fine with just two weapons usually. So for the third weapon I get the most benefits using something like mozam, alternator, re, or even p2020. All weapons that get great hop ups when Ballistic pops his ultimate. Essentially if you're gonna fill the sling slot ask yourself "what weapon benefits most from being gold and otherwise works great with my ult" not "what weapon is already great that I can add to my inventory"
@@yellowflashgamer5460 I personally like the new sling perk and using RE-45 just as a third weapon because you can get the hop-up at purple armor; the ultimate is just a huge power spike.

Ballistic is ranked too low. His ability to pressure and open fights is underrated. The fact Octane would be above any of these legends, except maybe Ash, shows the legends you play more often. Crypto, Newcastle, Mirage, and Ballistic are all better options than Octane.
Drone healing is super simple and makes a massive difference to your uptime with Crypto. If you press the heal button while throwing the drone out you can fly it while healing
And it reloads your weapons in the meantime as well, very efficient
As a ballistic main I’m loving the buffs he’s been getting recently
As a ballistic main here, when you drop in the beginning, you should Immediately put your gun in your sling so you can get lol 1 attachments straight away, and then lol it up in mid combat
Also, while ulting, you can keep your sling weapon out, as it doesn't slow you down. Like Maggie and shotguns.
Catalyst buffs were actually so good this season she needs to move up a tier
I played Crypto most of last night. The new buff just pop out his drone and then recall is amzing to know. Was very good and helped a lot with the games.

Ballistic got a huge buff because on level 3 it passively gives hammerpoints and boosted loader on a sling weapon if you have the new perk
When playing Ash choose the Greedy Snare perk. It increases the damage potential of snare immensely due to an unintended effect of it being able to hit twice.
The flying snare and the snare that lands on the floor are two separate entities. So if an enemy gets hit by the snare while it’s flying, then are standing where the snare lands, they’ll take 40 damage. This also goes for any teammates nearby.
I might have to switch back up to crypto, he was my second main after bloodhound. I now use catalyst which is great for control. But I can use a switch for a bit. Great video

As a crypto main, I prefer the right upgrades. After all these years I’m used to the ult range, so the improved drone handling just makes me more efficient. The only thing that’s annoying is that it calls out the squad count every time you throw it. I’m more aggressive so after throwing out my drone consistently it gets ridiculous.
Wingman in the sling for testing the Ballistic perk is a terrible choice. It doesn't affect the wingman in any way.
It's literally the worst weapon possible to test that perk, which is funny he didn't think of that.

Bro I’d love for this channel to talk ab what’s going on in the world of Apex, you channel is big enough to take creative risks would love to hear thoughts on ALGS LANS, comp playstyles, Dev responses, actual positive news circulating etc etc within the gameplay even if it’s a short segment.
The divide in the community is so big we need creators help to bring us all closer and have better understanding. The casual community and comp community couldn’t be farther away from each other in this game and really creates a huge disconnect
Yo merch there is a glitch i just found with the reactive pk skin.
If u kill enough enemies and ur pk is like maxed out animated and ur switching to melee and back to pk the animation is just gone its so weird.
(And I would lowkey wish if the smoke that comes out of the crystals would be as much as it was back in the day, now there is almost no smoke)

If Crypto could auto call out changes to the "nearby squad count" then that'd be super nice... eg "another team has entered the area" etc.
Moving Ash up a tier but not Ballistic is insane to me. A guaranteed fully kitted weapon is huge
I've been playing Ballistic in solos and he's arguably one of the best legends to play. Having two whistlers basically guarentees a win in each 1v1.
And a sling weapon that upgrades is nice too.

I really like ballistics buff, in ranked i can have a purple g7 in my sling which is epic and in pubs i can do wingman mastiff and an smg like the volt in my sling with purple attachments later in the game.
I would still like to see Ballistics speedy whistler move to level 2 and for level 3 it should be something like the overheat slowly ramps up no matter what/it heats up just a bit faster guaranteeing an kver heat
2 buffs or in this perks i wna see happen for octane a perk where if he uses a stim and gets a knock while stimmed his damage that he got from a stim is recovered. FOR CRYPTO PLEASE BRING BACK where he needs to only mark a location for his drown to automatically fly towards the location he had marked. its soo good and crypto players could engage with their teammates in fights more while being tactical that for crypto could be a park or a rework

But honestly, its super OP for weapons like the flatline or hemlok, because they are fully upgraded *at base* with your armor level when you put them in the sling! The best thing is the free 2x scope tho. Very nice for AR's and you also don't have to deal with horrible iron sights for weapons like the G-7 or the mozambik anymore.
It would be cool if they're was a mechanic so that crypto could move his done around without being in it. Similar to the way new castle can move his shield.
I was very confused about the octane perk changes when I started playing again

Can they fix lifelines' ultimate where the package drops, but you still have to wait a little bit after you can use an ultimate accelerant? ik, it's not a big deal, but it's annoying.
Another crypto buff idea: the amount of people he emps determines the amount of time he’ll have a speed boost. Obviously this will have a cap
The newcastle buff messed me up so much until I saw it with my own eyes while my friend was talking about it. Wasted 4 arcs because of the new wall perk
I think they need to move one of the Ballistic tactical perks into base kit. Probably the 3x duration one.
Then they can open up doing something with the ult.
His tactical just needs a rework or a strong buff and maybe his ult too

I didnt think they would buff crypto but buffing him saved this season for me. Ill be finishing yhe batlle pass . And getting at east 1000 kills
Using both jumppad perks is so usefull.
The second jumppad perk (the red pad) Allows you to gain massive amounts of speed.
When pressing backwards (only backwards) and jump at the same time from your jump pad its double jump.
You will gain increased speed

Most of those feel like great quality of life changes, still waiting on more impactful buffs to Crypto and Ash ults.
Oh and they nerfed Caustic again for no reason, feels like a joke at this point
Ngl Crypto might be borderline A Tier, if they just add a perk that gives his drone a free roam capability maybe at the cost of limiting its range Crypto becomes S Tier easily
Or add it into his base kit, if echo can controlled while on the move, so should Hack for Crypto.
The Crypto buff makes him feel. OP especially in Solos. Hes so stromg now and im here for all of it!

Crypto struggled playing with randoms but did much better with a coordinated team. The buffs helps while solo queing and makes him soooo much better while playing as 3. I suspect we will see him in ALGS scrims once players get comfortable and move away from blood bang

Best sling weapon to use with ballistic?

How does the ballistic change do anything? Sling weapon has no attachments so leveling it up to purple chamges absolutely nothing right. Weapons dont get more powerful only the attachments do and it has none
If you use the right guns it can be pretty good.
Example is getting a free purple havoc, or getting a purple 30-30. The 30-30 would allow you to cover all ranges without hindering your ability to fumble where to switch to your third weapon, and havok is havoc, and having a purple one for free is pretty good.
Also i aint glazing, legit last season i called him a useless legend.
@@dragonboydragonyeah, never put a long range weapon in the sling before S21, but now that it can be upgraded to purple (once hitting level 3) having 2-4x scope makes snipers or Marksman in the sling not a bad choice.
