- Dirt Bike Handlebars On Street Bike - Ninja 300 Handlebar Replacement
Ninja 300 stunt bike build, installing Pro Caken (similar to Pro Taper EVO Adventure) dirt bike handlebars on sportbike (Ninja 300). It's relatively easy if you do not mind modifying your motorcycle. The only parts you will need are supplied in the kit (link below). I did replace the M12 bolts with 40mm long bolts for this particular bike.
Thanks for watching the S09 Engineering channel.

Just got these in and installed it on abs model everything fit nice 👌 thank you
Thanks for the feedback. I'm glad it worked out for you!
Hi, what was the reason to fit in a handle bar for a super sport bike? Is it for achieving up right sitting position?
@@9feetfrog more up right the Ninja 300 not really made for tall people and the factory bar are so close together
@@9feetfrog and it feels like a dirt bike lol
@@donay3773 now I know what has been making me feel uncomfortable when riding my Ninja, the factory handle bars are too narrower!
I was just about to order a new throttle and clutch cable for my ninja 250r after i put dirt bars on it, this vid may have saved me money and time🤙🏽
Update: the video helped ALOT and worked exactly perfect for mounting some fat bars on my ninja 250r. Thank you big time
I'm glad you found the video helpful!
For the love of Pete please step the drill bits next time ‼
Thanks! Just got my sportier bars in for my (adventure) bike. Getting my head in the game before I dig in!
I love watching rookie mistakes 🤣🤣 i gave it a thumbs up
That's part of the fun! I could have easily edited that part out and made it seem like I am an expert, but I would rather be real. It turned out good in the end.
pilot hole?
Thanks for the video. I am going to do this same setup on my 300.
Glad it helped
Looked way better without the screen and mirrors on 😂 Cool video man, thanks
Thanks, Jake
Looks good and wanting to the same setup. Id like to know where you bought the bars and riser.
There is a link to Amazon in the video description.
Don’t see the link for the kit, could you place the updated link?
You cutting oil next time and it will drill alot easier and the bit won't break.. it got done but that could have been alot easier..
Thanks for the tip
Have you ever heard of drilling a pilot hole,we teach that to first year apprentices;also you could have spanned those 2 holes with a plate and tapped plate for more a stronger mount as not much meat left between 1/2 inch hole and originals.
Thanks for taking the time to comment. I will make you proud next time I drill a hole.
@@S09Engineering and Jimmy can brush up on his grammar.
Dude I was thinking the same thing. Grown ass man doesn’t even know how to drill a hole in metal properly
What did you do for longer clutch cable ?
I didn't have to change anything. I was able to reroute it and it worked fine.
Like these for a r6 conversion
It is a pretty complete kit. I imagine it would work well for a r6.
While most mechanics/carpenters would say “play” (for room to move) you replaced with “slop” 😂 nice video . Trial n Error at its finest. Good work . Btw chicago electric is good quality just dont buy their heat gun 😅
"...but...I drilled 2 big holes...sort of in the same place" 😂😂😂
😅 It turned out good in the end.
can you tell please if you have changed the throttle and clutch cable, and the brake hose ? or the stock ones are long enough ? Thanks
The stock cables and brake hose is long enough. You will need to reroute them though.
Looks good!
Thanks man!
Does this cause any issues with the position of the morrors
I have to admit that I don't really remember. I don't have this bike anymore.
What grips are these? Cheers
Now all it needs is a big sprocket to go with those stunt bars!
Yep!
Bars look really good on the 300. Are you stunting the bike or did you just go this route for the looks and a bit more up right ride? New sub for ya. What CAD software do you design with? I run NX and Catia at my current job and have also ran solidworks.
Thanks man! No stunting here. I just thought it would be cool. At work I use Creo and I started using Fusion360 at home.
how would these work on a dirt bike, do you mind explaining how I could attach these mounts to my normal original mounts. thanks
Assuming your dirt bike has original mounts for 7/8" bars, you would need a 7/8" to 1 1/8" adapter riser.
I know I’m a little late but the links gone?
amzn.to/3smn1yf
Does it hit anything with maximum turning?
No. Everything has good clearance.
what millimeter bar did you use and what kind of seen it before I know the name but did you get the SAT with the riser or what?? Have a 250 R trying to put dirt bars that on it or like that on it to make it more comfortable
They are 28mm bars. The link for the exact kit is in the video description.
I've seen all this will it fit a 250R 2009
Cool! Thanks for pointing that out.
Where can I get these handle bars
Amazon. I'm pretty sure I talked to you on IG.
Or if you have any recommendations im open also shoot me a link i need some. Thanks
I replied to your other comment. Hopefully that helps.
Do you still have the link??
This is the closest thing I can find at the moment.

Que longitud tiene el manillar ? Quiero uno igual para ponerle a la mía

Titanium drill bits or nothing sir!
I'll give some of those a try in the future. Thanks for the tip!
FOR STUNTIN purposes and also Street fighter type
These would be good for both.
🙋🏽♂️ahh nice job bro but I was a little worried about ya @1st ok serval times...,😂 do yourself a favor and next time get yourself some cutting oil and then step up to the size you need...,👌🏾 get a handle for that wrist breaker...,🤕 how did those brakes turn out? your bleeding style is unique but if works it works👍🏾
Sometimes I worry about myself. I have always liked bleeding brakes like that, especially on cars. Makes it much easier to do it by yourself.
I hope you see my comment but I have a 1999 Suzuki katana 600 and I have a alternator problem need help
I see it! I' not sure what I can do to help. I have no experience with that bike.
Hey great vid! Do you know if these bars and shit will fit on my 2001 Kawasaki zx6r?
Thank you! I finally found a good picture. It's hard to tell how thick the material is where you would be drilling. Put a strong washer on the bottom side and I bet you will be good.
You can use the link in my video description, if you like.
@@S09Engineering Hey thanks man appreciate it 100! Im trying to build a street fighter so if you say its a good shot with these bars and risers on a zx6r all have to grab em!
just thinking maybe you should of used a smaller drill bit first
Yeah, I agree.
Yo soy de Perú 🇵🇪 por acá están 29 dólares
Ese es un gran precio!
@@S09Engineering por el mismo precio es que por alguna caída simple ya se doblan
You've got a little red spot on your tank lol
Yep!
That's what happens when you don't lube the bit & hole while drilling. WD40...
Is there anything WD40 won't do?
DRILLING skill level 0 ... next time loose 3 screw and remove that upper steering plate, mark the point with a screwdriver, drill a small hole and the the big one
Thanks! Any tips for interrupted cuts when drilling?
@@S09Engineering mmm you mean when you break the drill bit inside ?
