I was completely fooled by Jeremy the ghost boy. He had a very clever backstory. I thought his parents were depressed because his dad had an accident and couldn't work, which is why they didn't talk to Astrid. I also thought he had 90s albums in his house because he liked retro stuff. I even believed his story about him owning the Handbook for The Recently Deceased because he said he had found it at a yard sale. It's very easy to pick up random, weird crap in 2nd hand shops, so I believed him. I thought this was the cleverest twist in the movie.
Unfortunately I have a very strong intuition and pick up on most things 😅 movies tend to be quite predictable for me but I still very much enjoyed the movie despite this . I’m glad this twist worked for other people it was still a great movie !!
