This 2300 square foot stamped concrete pool deck is the most concrete I've stamped in one single pour.
The video shows you how to stamp concrete for a very large concrete patio deck.
We are using stone textured stamps for this concrete pool deck pour and stamp job.
We are also using Poly Meta Forms flexible forms for the exterior forms and we're using Z Poolforms for the pool coping forming system.
This is part 3 of this complete stamped pool deck install.
Part 1 - Forming: • The Best Flexible Form...
Part 2 - Pouring: • Huge Stamped Pool Deck...

All pool decks I’ve done had coping that gave at least a foot of separation from the water. That’s a lot of forgiveness you didn’t have. Beautiful job
I was thinking the samething lol
For home owners watching this, what you see is why stamped concrete is usually 2 times the cost of regular concrete. Not only is it labor intensive, but it is also MORE difficult in applying the stamped patterns in a timely fashion than doing a standard brush finish. This is soooo easy to mess up that it rightly scares away contractors that don't have the people & tools to do such work.
Great job, again, Mike & crew.
Thank you!
Organized and very talented craftsmanship at it's best.
Thank you!
Awesome video Mike! My friend and I have been inspired by your work, leading to us starting our very own Concrete Flatwork LLC. Keep up the good work, keep uploading content. The knowledge you explain is worth more than gold!!
That is awesome!
@@MikeDayConcrete If there’s ever a opportunity that presents itself, I would love for us to collaborate on a project! Have a good day🫡
Looks killer.. Well done Mr. Day.
Thank you!
Wow that’s a lot of stamping! Awesome job !,,
Thanks so much!
WOW! Nice Work!
Thanks!
Great job Mike, well done to you and the rest of the crew, I would consider putting an extra pin per section of the forms, you can see a little bulge in the forms between the end pins and the middle pin, just a thought, again, awesome job, well done
We wanted it to look that way
That came out really nice.
Thanks
Awesome Video!!
Thank you!
The teamwork is great! I'm impressed, no yelling, lol. Thanks for doing these videos! Nice music!
Glad you like them!
If you were to add colored powdered release to the liquid release for the antique look, how much would you add? Would it look the same if you used powdered release? Also, I've been doing concrete for 20 years, and I learn a lot from your videos. You are truly a professional. Please keep making the videos.
We add about a cup or two to 2.5 gallons of release. It doesn't look exactly the same as pure powder but if you keep the liquid shook up in the sprayer it looks close. It tends to want to settle in the sprayer a bit if you leave sitting for a minute.
@MikeDayConcrete do you still power wash it when you use that method, or do you just let it dry and seal over it? Thanks
Thank you for your videos Mike! After watching your videos I was able to resurface my front porch and steps, along with filling the crack in my basement floor. You are definitely appreciated!!!
Great job... Looks very nice
Thank you so much 😀
Awesome work!
Teamwork wins again great job guys.
Thanks
I like you work .
Looks Great. Reminds me of working with my Dad as a kid.
Another awesome Job 👏🏼
Thanks 👍
Amazing!! Looks great! What is the blue rollers you are using? Do they add texture also? What stamps would you recommend? We are looking at getting a set. Did you make your shoe covers?
The rollers have texture on them as well. We're using Stone texture stamps, I like these. We're wearing "Shoe In's" for stamping shoes.
Big job, Mike! I know you Got this 😊
Thanks so much!
Outstanding job where can I get some of these forms 🎉❤
It was so massive a project I got "second hand anxiety" just from watching! :D
Stressful video!
Mike have you tried the magnetic stamps like Ryan is using now ?
I haven't, but I do like to lay these stamps down at any angle I prefer and not have to worry about the magnets lining up.
You guys are amazing. Keep up the Great work
We will!
@@MikeDayConcreteand a country boy can survive
Hey mike , Do you did any saw cut’s?
2 Thumbs Way up looks really nice guys
Thank you! Cheers!
Great work mate next time get a blow up boat to get around edges 👍
I wonder if you can do stuff that big here in Florida with the heat.
Very nice soundtrack to this video!
Also the foot stamping kind of sounds like clapping cheeks.
Mike what kind of texter rollers are you using and what's in sprayers?
I'd fall in the pool... especially when it's 95 in South Ga ..lol..
KRAFT!!!???? jk Everyone worked well together! You hand floated that so good. You can see the long even strokes in the light!
Why don't you use expansion joints? Great video, very informative!
Guessing they’ll saw cut them…
We cut them in with a soff-cut saw. works much better in this type of heat.
@Chris_Moncada that was not my question. Lol. The question was, why?
How much cost to build one like that
I was just wondering if there are any concerns about the chemicals from the release agent getting into the pool water? I have to say that it is rather entertaining to you and your guys out there clog dancing on those mats.
The pool water already has chemicals in it 👌🏻
I am suprised they filled the pool before doing the concrete
No worries about the liquid release, it evaporates
@@MikeDayConcrete Thanks Mike.
Will you do a colour enhancer , sealing update on this job ?
Big stamp area, like driveways I see on the wet coast. They seem easy after this pool job.
I hope it's pitched away from the pool lol
@Mike Day Concrete, now play with the speed x 100 to bad you did not have a camera out on the lawn and see people reactions, ha ha ha!!! Clap, clap, clap, Patio Dance!!!!
The clip clopping made me think you were working in Amish country. Expected to see a horse and carraige any time
The guys are a little slow I stamp 1500 alone in the Texas heat especially just texture it’s easy
Promo-SM 🤣
Great-looking job is always Mike. Have a question do you spray your stamps every once in awhile as you're stamping also or just the concrete
