Hope you and yours had a wonderful Christmas. I've got a bunch of custom, stamped patios lined up for my last year. I'll be 65 in August and have been pouring for 35 years. I also had a brain tumor removed a couple of months ago. I totally feel like the best job in the world is pretty good therapy. You guys are great, I insist my crew watch you to get better!
Great team work! You are lucky to have good employees. Hard to find these days... Thanks for sharing. It was very interesting to see the full finishing process with time stamps.
hello i used to work for a builder for new homes chester county pennsylvania . i say you must take care of your guys concreters are always looking for help. i can tell your very good at it. i do not know how the world will be after all the old timers are gone you cant get any young people to do any manual labor these days . do you have that problem in maine? i thought about moving to maine. what do you think land looks cheap . i have bin up 2 times aroostook county. then i was in rangeley in august on my dual sport motorcycle doing the( bdr you can look it up on youtube) if you ever get to rangeley go to quill hill look out it was cool . thanks for reading happy holidays
We just started using power screedl at work.. What's the preferred slump and any tips you can give, getting taught in person is best but i gotta settle for online
Had to laugh when ya said " if it makes our job a lttle easier if its a half hour from now or 30 minutes ftom now". @ 3:06 . But all in all great information from a real experienced pro. Thks
Damn, I wish more guys had the boom arm for unloading the trowel. Even if you just had a hand powered boat winch for it, that'd beat the armstrong method.
As if you're going to hand finish a floor this size when you can just chopper it. The machines hardens the surface and the floor coverings stick better. An unfinished floor would go powdery and the floor coverings would not stick properly.
That truck with the crane is absolutely perfect for the power trowels
It is, we like it.

Thanks for this video. Learned a lot.
Wow I learned something today the difference between mag and steel trowel. Thanks
My pleasure!
You guys work perfectly. Everything you can do to make it easier on the next stage makes a nicer finish as well as easy to not bust your hump.
Thanks Andrew!

Wow! Tom, thanks for that.
Wow! seemed like a lotta pipes in this one. Very good informational Video again. Thanks
Kitchen and bathrooms, pretty typical for a house this size.

Just wondering if you guys ever use a float pan on your power trowel. Looked through a few videos and haven't seen it yet.
Awesome work!
What’s the typical elevation difference from house slab to garage slab?
Great Job guys! Happy New Year!
Happy new year!
Like the new intro Mike!
Thank you!
Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄
Same to you!
We Appreciate You 💯 🙏 🙌
I appreciate that
Can you please start all videos with:
Season
Temperature
Concrete mix & why that mix!!
I'll try to remember that!

I'm not familiar with slab homes in the north. I assume that the 2 boxed areas in the house are for access for the radiant heat?
Their for shower drains.
A.k.a Three Amigos Concrete. Thanks for sharing the knowhow.
Thank for the vidya
Nice work
Thanks

It comes with the hand boat crank. We take it off and add the winch. Northern Tool or Harbor Freight.
floor getting carpet and etc....one time shine? seems like extra work power troweling it
I thought the power trowel wasn't cosmetic but for strength.
As if you're going to hand finish a floor this size when you can just chopper it. The machines hardens the surface and the floor coverings stick better. An unfinished floor would go powdery and the floor coverings would not stick properly.
Not really, plus we want to get it sawed so power troweling hardens the surface so we can saw it right after.
It's cosmetic too. Some people leave it like this for finished floor, they just put a clear sealer over it.
Hey mike nice shirt , I think I have the same one
Nice floor
Skid it and be done! Small slab for a machine
So, is there a difference between 30 minutes or a half-hour where you live? Check 3:10. Just kidding around. You guys do good work.
I'm going to use that from now on 🤣🤣. I'll be there in a half hour from now, not 30 minutes 🤣🤣
You might want to have your crew say a couple of words through out your video?
They're kinda shy!
Where's the hard-working ladies?
I think tia went to college back in fall. She was really getting good at finishing too.
Tia graduated college and now has a full time job at a college plus coaches college basketball.
