Yes, I've recently been thinking about how something can look good as a piece of art/object but when you put it on it's not practical or doesn't suit you.
You may also want to try rings at different times of day- for people with certain health conditions, hands can swell dramatically at midday or after salt-heavy meals. What fits in early morning may be very uncomfortable in the afternoon if you fit this description. 😊
Consider "stone shrinkage"! If you go for a modest stone because you have delicate fingers, you may find you prefer a slightly larger stone later in life due to trend changes or weight fluctuations.
Me in a few years! The state of the economy isn’t keeping people from getting married. We live on a rock in space, and we’re basically insignificant specks of dust in the universe. What’s keeping people is their being ready to financially, emotionally, and physically commit.
@@isabelsalamanca893 I hope I didn't trigger anything. I would love to commit to someone in my lifetime and I hope the person I commit to doesn't feel entitled to something expensive. Like, how the value of the ring is the value of the relationship would, not, be someone I would want to be commit to. No, my comment is more about how people are complaining about house prices, food prices, and Gas. There are videos, here on UA-cam asking where are all the good men? and Men warning about women who feel entitled to a lifestyle most men can't provide. And so I ask how this video got in my recommended.
I got married a couple weeks ago! In this economy, it's important to make sure that any money you do spend on a ring, isn't going to be wasted on something that's going to fall apart. Lack of money isn't NECESSARILY a reason not to get married, it's just a reason to consider what kind of budget you can afford. I've got some friends getting courthouse married next year, and I think we're going to do a potluck or something? They got each other rings from thrift/antique stores, for less than a couple hundred bucks, as I recall. At the end of it, they're going to be just as married as someone who buys a huge ring and throws a huge party.
That first point is spot on. I didn’t like halos from the pictures I saw and then tried on a halo at the jeweler and fell in love with it!

Good advice!
Yes, in this economy being recommended a video about engagement rings is appropriate. Who is getting married now a days?
