Gorgeous to watch ballet in slow motion! It just shows the novice, how complex and hard the training is, to perfect. Well done, Kanno and Bevilaqua. I LOVE too, the Staatsballett Berlin ballet company, they're excellent.
I dance ballet, and this truly highlights how much control we must have and how much we actually do to do one Leap. This is amazing and i appreciate that this was made. Ballet may take hard core dedication but for me it's all worth it.
the lines that they created, the precision... damn near kills me that the human body has that much potential and more people don't use it to its fullest. so beautiful.
Amazing. I like to think that at the end of the last lift they hold that pose until they turn to marble and become gorgeous statues.
My god the slow motion really highlights the precise control the dancers have over their body and movement! its amazing Dancers always amaze me!
art of human bodies ..beautiful
Disgrace for the company who muted this song. This is beautiful!!!!!
Rubén Losada Alvarez Any idea what the song is?
Everything In Its Right Place by Radiohead. Unfortunately though, THIS version is slightly different than the one you can buy on amazon music, and in my opinion, it was better than the one you can buy. :(
Rubén Losada Alvarez but they would have been out of sync with the music.....
@@manichairdo6346 That's exactly why reason music won't work here!
@@gddada I guess we could watch them with a soundtrack of our own choosing. Lol.
Still amazed by this video every time I watch it. It is perfect and amazing.
This is so perfect. I've watched it over and over for the past couple years and always notice something else beautiful. Today it was the lovely hands, especially in the partner sequence at the end. She looks like a rocket achieving liftoff; his positions are perfect.
It's much the same with all of the arts. It takes the mind and the body and the spirit to produce art that touches the souls of others.
This just shows you how bloody perfect ballet dancers are
Beautiful.....Dance makes me feel alive
I could watch this forever. I could watch great ballet in slow motion forever.
Just an art student casually screen shooting around 200 pics to study the movements and is utterly amazed at their control of their body.
The synchronization in the first jump is amazing!
my god they're soooo good and talented, the precision is unbelievable
That pas de deux at the end was breathtaking!
I wasn't planning on watching the whole thing, but once it started, I couldn't stop. Wow.
ah...perfection. Just perfection!!! BEAUTIFUL!!!!
my two favourtie things radiohead and ballet, never thought i would see the day :)
I completely agree, using Radiohead just made it so much better!
You really see how much work is put into the movements.. just amazing.
My two favourite things; ballet and Radiohead :)
Please make more of these videos! the music is great.
Outstanding, fabulous, whatever term I'll use,it will be weak to describe what I felt while watching this combined beauty between dance, music and way of shooting it:) I have danced ballet long ago and I know what stands behind all this,too...Admirations:)
The most beautiful thing ever.
Exactly. Dedication is dedication. Well said!
can't stop watching this. so beautiful!
This video is aewsome because there's no hiding possible. The slow motion really puts the emphasis on their technique wich I believe is incredible! Amazing work!!
beautiful, simply beautiful.
This must be one of the most beautiful things a human being can do..
I never wanted this to end.
So beautiful. I could watch this 100 times.
Vraiment magnifique ! Merci Fabien
Imagine how cool ballet would be in a low-gravity environment, like the moon!
SO TRUE !!!!! you" can see every movement
Stunningly beautiful. Totally rapt. Absolutely love this video, could watch it over and over, and each time would be like the first time seeing it!!
Glorious. Absolutely glorious.
If ballet was always this interesting to watch I'd be going to more recitals!
this has left me utterly speechless... I wish I could leave a more articulate response, but... WOW. Absolutely brilliant. Thanks for posting!
I watched this over 30 times.. it never gets boring, I always see new things! zoo beautiful! perfect dancers, perfect music! YES!
They need to make more of these.
20 seconds in and LOVE IT already... could be because I'm obsessed with Thom Yorke??
well thank you, for saying that. Most people don't realize how much we have to do. BBut i'm so glad this was made :)
As a student who is studying medicine and dances ballet I can tell you that it takes more work in dance than it does in medicine. Medicine is mostly memorizing and application. Dance is so much more than just memorizing steps and manipulating your body, although those are some big points. It's so incredibly physical, but your mind has to be there too. That emotion and control of your body comes from your brain. Besides, if I'm terminal than I'd rather be watching ballet than my doctor's face.
Fantastic composition, wonderful and beautiful display of the skill and beauty that is dance.
THIS IS ART
my gosh...they are divine
AMAZINGLY PERFECT
the helicopter lift looks gorgeous slow motion! :D
I wish more slow motion ballet was available on UA-cam
Body, why can't you be this elegant and graceful? :c
So beautiful and so satisfying.
Stille Schönheit - Freiheit in perfekten Bewegungen!
One word...AMAZING!!!!!
Now that i've seen this video everytime I start my day it has to be played.
Any gymnast is really impressive to me too. I just like when peoples' bodies seem to defy physics, when they're really just using it to their advantage ;)
I saw those too but remember this is at 1000 frames per second. Think about it, you're in the air for about 1-2 after you push off from your back foot; when her back foot isn't pointed it's because she's getting ready too land, not because she's making mistakes.
jawdropping!
Stunning!!!
Like a dream. So beautiful !
Beautiful. Absolutely beauruful
Looks cool and super amazing like this
That incredible jump is known as a "grand jeté" in ballet lingo.
Radiohead "Everything in it's right place"
... just like in this outstanding video ;)
Magnifique !!!
Yes, and if you move your cursor along the time bar backwards, you get the real time version, only backwards!
Nice!
This clip was way too short. I could watch an hour of this. Mesmerizing.

♥love ballet♥
Sensational!!!
Nice RadioHead mix version
THANK YOU!!!! I used it on a Flipbook that we had to finish for school ♥
dance is love
And that's totally your decision to do it. It should be commended, finding a way to move through life fulfilling a goal that betters you as a person :D
That's funny... My dad works in concrete construction and my mom was a stay-at-home mom. We didn't have much money at all, yet I'm a student of dance at Julliard. Let me tell you something.. I didn't choose to dance because I thought it would get me out of working. I chose it because I fell in love with it. In dance, you tell a story with your body, with your demeanor. And if you don't think spending 8 hours a day in a studio perfecting technique and rhythm is work, I don't know what is.
I'm watching this on the time bar :)
великолепное шоу
One problem: this is too short.... it ends too quickly. MORE!
Очень красиво!
Quelle grâce !
Love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Amazing flexibility amazing bone strenght
wow !
