I've gotta give props to that German engineering. I thought it wouldn't have a chance with 300 horsepower less and way less tire. Rubber is important man, I mean that's a stock car with a few online add-ons not a full competition drift car!

@@user-tc7fp1nu6t I know, that's where the extra 300hp filled the gap, he nearly spun his wheels across the finish line lol. And formula D cars aren't riding on vaseline trust me, they're trying to lose their opponent *while* sliding. They're grippier than you think.
@@cybertree That's a fully built motor and transmission in that RS3... the car might not be set up for competition, but it had way more done to the engine compared to the Z - which has a bolt-on R35 setup. It did look like the RS3 wasn't launching in AWD though, that was probably their biggest issue.

It’s all good, either way we sent it hard lol Don’t want to take away anything from Chris Forsberg, but just makes us proud that a FWD sedan with air conditioning making 300hp less was able to keep up with a full race car. Can’t wait to get a rematch and have some fun. 🙏🙏

Somethings not right here. I just checked the RS3 owners channel and the thing launches hard af off the line on his drag videos. Thing was leaving slow as hell on these races. I call shenanigans
We later found out it was stuck in FWD mode. Diff controller failure.

Hoonigan Thanks for the reply bro. It looked like it left in FWD mode the first time...not the second or third time. It looked slow all 3 races just by comparing it to his channel. Either way, I think it would be a much better race if the RS3 is running like it should.

RS3 was on lowest setting and didn’t even launched it. That’s a high 8 sec - low 9 sec 1/4 mile car. If you followed the guy’s channel or any other built RS3/TTRS, you will know that they launch way harder. Low to mid 2sec 0-60mph on the street easy. I guess that 370 must be doing sub 2 in 0-60mph.

Yea there was definitely traction control issues there. That rs3 has launched 10 times harder than that usually and it's a low 2 sec 0-60 car he was launching worse than stock cars in this video
Those formula D cars are usually pulling 1.8-2.1 0-60 times
The Z will most likely have difficulty in doing a 2 second 0-60 but will definitely eat up that audi at the big end of this little strip. Good thing its 1000 feet and not 1000 meters they were racing. Now that would be overkill gainst that little audi.

I love audi, i own one they are fast but the thing about them is people building them only go for easy power because of the potential of the engines... but you cant douchebag it... you gotta build around the power also...

The power wasn't turnt down the control to the differential was. They were having issues with the power being put down properly probably an issue with the rear diff syncing with the front or the diff controller. You Guys obviously don't know how these cars work. The car wasn't launching right at all I've seen stock cars launch harder than that. They should have been neck and neck or at least if nothing the Audi winning due to Chris spinning so much. If you go look at any of the other videos George and his brother put out or see races they have done you can see how hard this car should actually launch it cuts almost a flat 2 sec 0-60
