- Jeep has always had our hearts with their fast Cherokees, from the very first SRT-8. And the new Trackhawk is the greatest, most evolved version of one. We had some time to put it up against Larry Chen’s brand new (and tuned) Toyota Supra, so we thought why not: pitting a pricey, but crazy fast SUV against a modern sports car with a little extra sauce.

I think the appeal of karts is the fact theyre cheap as fuck. My dad is the GM at a lithia jeep dealer and trackhawks dont go for any less than 30 grand. Maybe buy a wrecked one but the sensory schematics are so complex to chop one apart and get it to actually run and shift gears properly would be a massive undertaking. Ya you could throw a holley ecu at it but why?? If you want a awd kart, buy a 2004 or so audi tt with the NA 2.8 v6 and throw a ebay turbo kit at it and watch it go 10s and handle like no other.

@@chrishelm7754 Many autos and bikes come with "brembos" You know how you beat brembos? Endless and ProjectMu. But with the newfangled ECUs, it can pull pressure, or slip, ect. Too many factors to decide on it. I swapped my S13 to Z32 30mm and race pads, with it can over power them all day also with a little 2L turbo i4, and lock all four at any time. Brands and such don't matter, just like over powering brakes when many stock vehicles can do so.
Yeah, for another data point, my dad's stock 2000 suburban v8 would creep forward while on the brakes. You could also feel the frame twist from the torque.

@@THESLlCK As the owner of a Doge durango I can confirm Ive spent a lot on my car mostly for the supercharger but yea. Nobodys who cant afford a track hawk will complain about gas.
Simply putting it. I didnt buy the jeep version because it looked outdated. The Durango looked a little better. Not to mention the supercharger it comes with is identical, but its just nicer. The vented seats are nice if you live in nevada.

Supra doesn’t come off the assembly line with 1000hp, you’re gonna need to mod it heavily and then every JDM fanboy will say “it’s the fastest now, no other car can beat it😩, king is back”. Stock cars vs stock cars are fair, a modded car vs a stock car isn’t so fair. This the same shit that everyone always did and still do with the MK4, it’s a slow car stock, modding it makes it very fast no doubt, but you can do that with every other vehicle you’ll find as well if you have the money for it.

Congrats we just sold ours and bought a bmw x5m competition but it doesn’t feel as raw as the trackhawk I’m gonna miss it so much all I can recommend for the first two mods is cool air intake and rear muffler delete

The RS200 would lose, not by much, but the dual clutch just gives the R35 to much advantage.
The RS200 Spec Evolution does 0-60 in 2.9 to 3.0 secs while the old R35 did it in around the same time, with the new gearbox it's down to 2.7 seconds.
Not to mention you would need someone like Ken to get the RS200 to go 0 - 60 in that time, most people couldn't do that but, they could get the R35 to go 2.7.
Honestly I think it's mental that an actually road legal car from 34 years ago can almost keep up with a car of today, the RS200 is really something beautiful.

I had completely forgotten about the OG SRT Cherokee until a few weeks ago, when I saw one on the road that was ratted out to the point that the guy had dropped those gorgeous center exit exhaust tips about 4" lower and stuck a trailer hitch ABOVE them! I feel like way too many of those trucks got trailer parked out once they got old

I have an 07 wk1 SRT8 had it about 8 years now. Been a great truck. All I've had to replace was a water pump and radiator. 214k on it and still embarrasses people lol
