It may be a good idea to have your thyroid hormones checked. My period was making me feel like that for a long time, and I found out my thyroid was really screwed. I never had any idea before that that the thyroid could mess with your cycle that way. I’m glad I got it sorted out before I start HRT.
I actually have a history of hyperthyroidism, so I get my levels checked every time I go in! Things are pretty much evened out now, but, yes, earlier on I didn't know whether my symptoms were T or thyroid-related. The body can be such a puzzle sometimes.
I don't know if you've ever talked to your doctor about medications to stop your period and also don't know if that's something you'd like to do but there's definitely options progesterone being the most common for people on testosterone maybe something to bring up to your doctor if you're interested. Good luck!
Thank you! Personally I'd rather change my dose and work with that first than go on another medication with other potential side effects. But it's definitely something to consider if nothing else is working!
