STREET Glide or ROAD Glide? Which would you pick? Drop a comment and let us know!
Posted midnight 🕛 here in Romania 🇷🇴
Idk,both amazing
buuuuuut the road glide
Street glide. Not a fan of the road glide fearing . Just my personal opinion.
SG
Street Glide
The last bike I bought was in Cape Coral Fl. Flew in from Ar and rode it back. Got a new bike and a new adventure. Best way to do it in my opinion.
Street glide for me 100% looks so much better.
Street Glide is the best glide...
Love it but hate mirrors on handle bars
Rushmore Street glides rule!🇺🇸😎
My favorite ride for new bikes is to leave Seattle and go around Mt Rainier. It’s a great elevation change and lots of trees and backroads.
My second ride is around the Olympic Peninsula.
The three sisters in Texas starts about 30 minutes away from my house. Beautiful Hill country road takes about 3 hours round trip. It's a truly awesome trail
I'm a Road Glide person. Love the new redesign. Have to wait for the 25's for the RG Limited
I saw the whisky fire street glide and the black CVO ST road glide in person yesterday. Both very nice bikes and Harley clearly took things up a notch. Tested both as 2023 bikes and I am definitely a street glide guy.
I like it accept for the windscreen 😮
Like both - great job on the updates looks. I love that green!
What you explained was my exact reason for not liking full sized windshields. I prefer the smaller ones that slice rather than a sail. Memphis Shades makes cool ones. Keeps the bugs outta the jacket, and looks good, too.
I own an SG and have always preferred that, however the RG looks the business. Look forward to checking the new Glides out.
Thank God there are bunches of ‘23 and older bikes out there to be had for years to come
Same. I hope to have my '23 RG for life after this design
Come on man this 2024 not 1964.@@talkingrock7011
I like the mixture of analog and touch screen on the older bikes
And with all the improvements to the 24’s with a lower starting price, the 23’s are now worth less than $20K.
You should be able to get some deals on any previous M8 bike.
@@ThatMNTrucker93 You're going to have it for life anyway because '23 prices are in the toilet as soon as the new model redesign came out. Lol.
I liked when the SG had the mirrors integrated into the fairing. Looks like they went backwards now
They are actually, the bars on this one are customized so they had to change the mirrors.
@@AnonymousBosch3158 awesome, thank you for the info. I'll have to look at one next time I go to a dealer
That’s one gorgeous bike!
Omg those roads are my roads! I love riding out Fort Bragg 😊 you guys went north through Westport back to 101 it looks like, it’s beautiful riding out there. I can’t wait until the weather improves a bit more so I can hit those rides
Look Awesome! I'm looking forward to ride it and try new RG too.
I’m in the Road Glide camp. But I missed where you are riding. What a beautiful road!!
Love that digital dash. I demo’d the 2023 and though the mechanical gauges looked very outdated… classic, but outdated.
The analog gauge package looks so much better. Far classier.
I’m actually learning to ride my new 23 Road Glide on the route I ride my road bicycle. I know that route very well and you are right I am focused on just the bike.
NE Pennsylvania roads are great for the twisted travels. In general, PA has great scenery. Nice ride with that '24 Street Glide.
wish PA had secure elections
I ride an Ultra so batwing fairing. I like the lights that turn when I turn and having less mass in front of me. I did rent a RG standard last year in Sturgis (pre-rally) and it SMASHES through the wind in all conditions.
Damn...A Harley with style and power..finally!!
I knew you were in my neighborhood. I love riding those roads in the fort Bragg area!
Street Glide
I think the Street Glide looks absolutly the best - and the new one I think is the HD I want the most....
Man i got a lowrider s, upgraded from a sporty because of your videos.
Keep up the good work, hope to visit the shop soon
Looks real nice all geared up!! 😎🇺🇸
Street Glide! I love the new faring!
I do have a certain route that I take every year when i break out my bike after winter. It's actually the same route that I road with my dad the first time riding with him. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
It's about 30 miles highway and about 40 miles back county roads.
Great reviews of both the SG and RG!
Road that same stretch of highway June 2022. That is such an amazing ride on an awesome bike.
Not a batwwing fan but that street glide is official 💯💯 good job harley
I really like the new design of the 2024’s. The street glide looks really sporty. I really think Harley is trying to attract a younger generation.
Beautiful office
Really in joy the vlogs
Great review
5:22 I like both fairings on the bikes for different reasons. I don’t feel one is superior to the other. I’m currently rocking the baby shark fairing.
Aesthetically, the street glide. Beautiful, simple, classical. Ride characteristics, road glide.
My learn the bike ritual is seeing how far back i have to go in a wheelie to scrape it, and seeing how it does a rolling burnout.
Cant wait to see the hard lowers when they come out with em
Street glide looks so much more elegant and classy, for sure the better looking of the two!
Well done HD. Huge steps forward. No more mocking about yesterdays technology at todays prices. Once I am done with my Chieftain hopefully they would have ironed out some of the niggles with the tech and I might, just might consider a HD again. I would certainly check it out.
Great review Block! The bars on your test bike are the bars that should come on the bike stock. The stock bars on the Street Glide are horrible. When I say on one the bars were so low they felt like they were barely above my knees. The Road Glide stock bars are much better IMO. I've had one Road Glide and two Street Glide with my current ride being a 22 SG ST. If I was buying a new one I'd go back to the Road Glide to be honest. I love my SG ST though so I'll be waiting a few years before making the change. Thanks again for the review!
Love the new SG, I they did a great job with it. Prefer it over the RG for sure
I love the roadglide I had a 2013 roadglide custom twin cam 103 until my wife and I were hit by a car last year. I now have a 2017 roadglide special 114 Milwaukee 8.. I love the roadglides but I wish that they'd bring back the twin cam motor
Next time you make it to East TN, forget the Dragon. Go check out the Devil's Triangle and make sure to run it Counter-Clockwise. That is my go to road for figuring out what a bike is made of. There is a curve for every gear on your bike on that road! Plus minimal traffic. Oh and make sure to let me know if you come! I work at Smoky Mountain H-D. Would love to maybe ride with and show you around some
The dash appears smaller than previous SGs, and use to swing more towards the SG, but after watching both these videos back to back, I may become a RG person, an actual test ride be deciding factor. Have to agree that windshield I did not care for at all.
This baby will always be instantly identifiable as a Harley on the road or whenever you see one . Love the new road glide but I can’t say the same thing about it . Street glide for life
@@Your-Name_ the new one looks like an Indian …..

Might not have the canyons and the twists . . . but you can't beat the ability to ride through he winter in Fla. I live in Salt Lake and ship the bike to Fla in Dec. so I can ride year round. Come home in May. And, the overseas hwy to Key West is an incredible ride!
THAT'S ONE BEAUTIFUL LOOKING STREET GLIDE ❤❤I WOULDN'T MIND HAVING ONE FOR MYSELF
Bought a 2024 rg cvo st today! Raven metallic.
Just made the jump from a Street Glide Special and changing to a New Road Glide I am so glad I made the switch. Love the batwing but the 🦈👃🏼has bite me for sure.
I'd be really interested in seeing some Horsepower Science done on the new Road Glide and Street Glide to see what the HP and Torque output is in each mode. Where they come into their power bands, how much HP difference is between the modes, if any. I'd definitely choose the Road Glide if I was buying one of the new models.
Horsepower Science incoming! 🤘
I like the look of the road glide and like the fairing being fixed, but I don’t like how far away the fairing is. I wish there was a happy medium.
Cruisers are about long stretches of highway. I wish you would drive in traffic especially downtown to see how maneuverable in slow traffic. How does the bike handle slow u-turns or getting into/out of parking areas.
Awesome ❤😊
Great video. Do you know what size Harley windshield that is?
I have a good question before I consider purchasing a SG Special
If I were to buy one would there be an option where I can have a seat from the previous year? I like the 2023 seat a lot better
Not a fan of the square headlight, I miss the "passing" lamps. The new front signals are nice, what about the rear lighting?
I have a 2006 R1 and a 2023 LRS. I have two bikes and could not possible ride both of them at the same time. Just for comradery, I am trying to get friends that I know that have the license to go riding with me with me supplying the bike. All are scared of both bikes. Dammit! Lonely riding world. Solo is OK but is a lot more fun to share.
Quick question can you go over how you get cardo audio into your GoPro?
Looks to me like there are a lot of mods done to that streeglide, most notably perhaps are the bars. I noticed the bars you had on your bike are a lot higher than the knuckledraggers they have on the stock machine. It's obviously a difficult job to swap those bars out with the streetglide fairing. Sounds like you liked the position of those bars. Would have been nice to know what bars and what height they were. Good review though.
You mentioned Fort Bragg, CA…but what’s the actual road you are riding? Love to check it out.
IMO mountain roads are the best place test a motorcycle or 4 wheel vehicles. I live in NorCal, Fort Bragg is an awesome place to visit.
Street glide looks cool however I like a smaller wind shield
Love them both but I will always be a Batwing fairing guy.
I ALSO LIKE THE ROAD GLIDE TOO ❤❤
Team Street Glide
Awesome scenery you said that's PCH what City?
I think it’s awesome
Does anyone know if stretched bags are still purchasable for the '24 model year?
I love it
how is the weight displacement? I have not test rode a SG in a few years but tested an Indian Chieftain and the center of gravity seemed much lower. How does the 24 SG feel to you? Top heavy?
Great video as always Block. However baggers are such a dad bikes.
Street Glide. Awesome bikes and RG a very close second. But actually for this kind of money I’d go for the CVO ST…just wish I had that kind of $$
HELL YEAH ROAD GLIDE!!!!!!!
Where is this ride? Fantastic!
I LIKE THE COLOR ON THE BIKE ❤❤
Sorry just my opinion but the roadglide front end reminds me of Tommy from rugrats. His diaper with the little legs sticking out 😂. Shark nose? No Tommy’s diaper.Yee haww 😂
Old Pacific Highway is my testing ground. Aussies from Sydney will know!
Hey man, any plans to cover the 2024 police road glide? My dealership got a few. Pretty interesting bike. 114, featureless fairing, $20k. Great video as always by the way!
Looks like an Ultra Limited with the tour pack.
I’ll definitely stick with my 2020.
its the first bagger since victory magnum that has good looking fairing
The new Harley’s look great, but considering the weight, why haven’t they incorporated reverse like the Goldwing and R18?
Blockhead, I do like the green!!
Yep, needs a shorter windshield. I like looking over mine.
Can’t afford it but it looks sweet. Would choose the street glide over the road glide. Still like the road king the most. Less tech the better for me.
Are those the HD Tallboy handlebars?
I know the route, its a beautiful ride.
The sharper lines do look more modern but that windshield detracts from the overall styling (a bolt on mount) doesn’t look integral. Also hate the gas filler cap, kinda looks like an adventure bike.
Never rode a Street Glide. Own a 2015 Road Glide. Looking at the new bodies I’m stuck really do like the Street Glide. I’m thinking new bike Christmas of 2025.
We are living in a metropol city with a lot of traffic jam. Which is easier to ride in traffic jam and narrow streets. Street glide or Road Glide
The Street Glide looks better than the Road Glide. Perhaps the Street Glide will reclaim its position as the top bagger in the Harley lineup.
Still on the fence RG or SG.... definitely buying one or the other.
Same here always wanted a road glide but now torn between both the street glide looks much sportier now and I like the dash up close
@@socalgolf9978 bought a onyx white street glide... very happy with choice...a little more nimble than my 2000 Electra Glide...lol
I've ridden that highway (Hwy 1) many times while living in California. I've ridden in Florida too (Cocoa Beach and Key West highway). I've enjoyed California motorcycling much more....

You don't need all those extras on a bike. All you need are the basic controls: brakes, throttle, clutch, gears, lights.....
I'm in the Road Glide camp... bought a '22
