Hello all, Chris here from Huntington Beach California. I have always loved Miss Dusty Springfield, and have all her music. R I P Dear Lady. Thank you, Paul, for taking us along.
I'm so glad you made this video. I always enjoyed listening to her music back in the 60s. She should be remembered and no one ever mentions her these days. A talented lady!!
Fantastic singing voice beside the petshop boys on what have I done to deserve this..absolutely fantastic..r.i.p dusty greatly missed but never forgotten ❤
hi still missher great singer and our best female uk singer her version of going back is so great jut listen to the vokals my friend nothing beats that her singing that song will live for ever
My parents took me to a TV studios to see Dusty on the Tommy Leonetti Show when I lived in Australia in 1969, she gave me a signed photo and said she couldn’t believe she had a 10 year old fan! I still have it in a frame! Thank you for posting, I plan to visit Henley in May so will definitely pay my respects.
Loved the harmonies of The Springfields, then Dusty then with Pet Shops, to me she was the Queen of Soul and much more. If I remember correctly they played Goin' Back at her funeral . Amazing voice.
Dusty is one of my favorite singers. When I used to commute by train to work I used to listen to "Summer is over" again and again. I can't get enough of that song. Such a wonderful voice.
I was in my primary years in the 1960s, but such wonderful times growing up, music was very close to me as memories, Dusty Springfield was one of them...great video...
Dusty was an absolute legend who, like the Bee Gees, reinvented her music style to suit new audiences. Loved her Duet with Pet Shop Boys (I've met Neil Tennent) What Have I Done to Deserve This and still have it on my Spotify Playlist Brilliant job yet again Paul and thanks for keeping her memory and legacy alive PS, Hope you didn't get a ticket
Such a great singer. I loved the songs she did with the Pet Shop Boys. Apparently she used to go over each recorded phrase until she was satisfied with it, building the vocals up as if she were painting a picture.
My mother loved this woman. I grew up listening to her. I feel like her name & personality is more famous than her music. Gorgeous woman r.I.p Dusty. ❤ Thank you Paul ❤️ it was worth doing it twice & I hope you never ad a parking ticket after. 🙈 You literally always bring a smile to my face. ❤ xxx
She was indeed an amazing singer. I didn't know she passed from breast cancer, difficult as my Mum is fighting the wretched disease again. Dusty deserved much longer on Earth bless her.

I've been to Henley many times as I live 20 minutes away in Reading. As a painter and decorator in the 90s, i did some work in the houses in your video. And by chance discovered her plaque. That church was amazing. Her brother, Tom, wrote 2 of The Seekers biggest hits, "I'll Never Find Another You ", and " The Carnival Is Over ". Thanks for the video. If you did get a parking ticket, we'll pay for it.
