    good video, mining is going to get radically more difficult in 2022 unless bitcoin pumps large. 1,000s of s19 xp's will be coming online after 7/22 and with overclocking will radically raise the network hash-rate. Marathon just closed a large deal, among others. As a side note, notice the sudden influx of used units on Compass mining.

      I’ll have the layout in an upcoming mine update video, but it’s an 8’x8’x8’ room with a 4000cfm fan on one end exhausting to the outdoors, and then three 24”x20” HVAC filters in openings of the same size on the opposite end. Then I have a rack with the machines at about the same height as the filtered air coming in.

    There are three of us in the process of setting up container mine that we want to be strictly Liquid immersion cooled. I would love to pick your brain on the water cooling side of the system. We have a source of cold water we would like to repurpose for the cooling of the bitcool through the use of a heat exchanger instead of a dry coolers or a radiator! Let me know what you think !
    - Tim B

    • @SPACEDESIGNWAREHOUSE
      @SPACEDESIGNWAREHOUSE  2 роки тому +1

      If you have access to some sort of River or stream, the cooling you can do through a plate heat exchanger is WAY more efficient than using radiators. When I had the one hooked into my pool that thing was about twice as good at removing heat as an oversized radiator. Unfortunately the chlorine was going to wreck everything but that wouldn’t happen in a natural body of water.

      Yes sir it’s a artisan spring that we want to loop back to the lake it’s near. Totally green. Totally renewable. No water loss or use.
      Just cold up up through the exchanger and slightly warmer water back to the lake. The water is a constant 72 degrees. Is this cool enough ?
      Where would we begin to find the formulas to determine needed flow rate, minimum temperature requirements, heat exchanger size, etc ..? I’m sure a lot of trial an error will be involved but would love to do as much math as possible before hand. Haha !

      I wasn’t joking. I use 40 amp breakers, then 8 gauge wire from the breakers to the room where my miners are. And then I simply wire two c13 cables straight in to those 8 gauge wires.

    Not to be forward, but what is your average daily mining after fees from nice hash? I'm with slush now but I kinda want to move to higher hashrate mining pool. Foundry looks awesome too but I don't think I have enough power yet. Do you have a discord or something? You and I are on the same path.

      Actually, I JUST heard about this pool.sbicrypto.com/ pool where they do 0% fees for bitcoin! I have one machine on there and the other 5 on Nicehash now.. But its looking like an average of $194 after everything per day. I am running a slight overclock on each miner AND every pair of miners are different speeds, I have two 95's, two 100's and two 104 TH machines. Oh and three L3+'s that are not making much daily.
      Im actually going to be making a more detailed earning report video of all of these sources so youll be able to see how each one performs, in a couple days, on my downtime on this cruise.
      And yes! I have a discord discord.gg/49ecbMAT see you in there

    • @SPACEDESIGNWAREHOUSE
      @SPACEDESIGNWAREHOUSE  2 роки тому

      Oh funny, those are the ones I’ve been using. Since you’re splitting the load between two cable ends, you don’t need 30amps, in fact at 240 Volts the machine is only taking about 13 amps total, split between two cords. The c13’s don’t heat up at all, while the cable coming from the wall does a little.
      These ones say 250v on the listing www.amazon.com/dp/B004WJM2V0/ref=cm_sw_r_as_gl_api_glt_fabc_G22T6BE2F8H0RTTVFVKR?linkCode=ml2&tag=spacedesignwa-20

      @@SPACEDESIGNWAREHOUSE So is it safe to assume that after cutting off the ends of the 2 C13 cables, that you then splice those cut wires together along with some 10ga, where the 10ga then connects to your 30amp,220v breaker, or is your breaker panel real close to your ASICS such that you directly connect those cutoff wires directly to the same 30 amp,220v breaker? I would think in either scenario, the closer your panel, the shorter the cord length needs to be, therefore less heat generated.
