Well yes, I obviously look filipino - emphasis on *i feel* ‘white washed’ = referring to my own feeling of disconnect to my asian culture / heritage, mostly because I can’t speak my mother’s tongue and I didn’t grow up in a filipino community, so we don’t celebrate any traditional holidays etc or even own any traditional clothes - hence, I wasn’t referring to my appearance ♥️
