So many good memories of this campaign, crazy to think its nearly 10 years old. Its too hard to pick out a favourite.
Loose ends is the famous betrayal, Of their own accord has you in DC where the whole city is falling apart (and the crash scene), The Gulag sees the return of an old friend, Takedown sees a frantic chase through the Favela and No Russian cements its place as one of the most controversial missions of all time.
For me there was nothing as emotionally powerful as the campaign with Foley when your facing the Russian invasion. Seeing the Russians invade the country and making it look like you're hopelessly outnumbered to the despair of seeing a wreckage of a city in Second Sun to a true fightback in Whiskey Hotel. A truly memorable, powerful campaign they made. Almost every moment was incredible. #4677 Brookmere Road.

Thunder (throwing a rock at an enemies head makes them explode)
Sticks & Stones (knife and rocks only)
Pain Killer (Throw rocks at downed friends to revive them)
Berserker (3 kills in 5 secs, become invincible)
Paintball (because why not)

What seperates the new cod campaigns and the old cod campaigns is that you almost never run out of ammo when they give you almost 800 rounds in most ars

The Overlord voice from the Go Wolverines! level plays General Shepherd in the new MW2. That's kinda neat.
There's still no reason Shepard had to kill them besides "We need a different bad guy so we don't kill Makarov this game"

Not mole, but it could've revealed that certain things were setup by Sheperd in order for him to become what he wanted, a "war hero". And ofc if hes found out by anyone, he'll probably be locked up and labelled a traitor.
In the end, Sheperd's betrayal of Task Force 141 carried so much emotion through to the final scenes of his demise. It ended up being one of the best cod singleplayer campaigns of all time.
Shepherd wanted ww3 because he lost all of his men by that nuke in mw1. Why? Cause the world just fucking watched as his men died one by one.
No way a triple A game would get away with an airport like mission these days
The devs of this year’s game said they made a level that’s even more disturbing than No Russian. I don’t believe them though.

Honestly they barely got away with it back then. They pretty soon after release had to patch in a skip option because of how uncomfortable it was to massacre civilians

I never got past that timed submarine mission in veteran, that´s the farthest what I got in veteran mode. And that oil rig mission took like 4 hours to do.
I love how General Shepard is voiced by the same guy who played Admiral Hackett in Mass Effect.

the spec ops mission? I cant tell you how many time i tried to beat it....on the 5th try i had 1 enemy left. He came up the stairs and tripped a claymore i set, and i was just close enough for it to kill us both. Didnt have the heart to try again after that

Another thing that confuses me, the EMP would take out all of the American civilian equipment but military gear tends to be EMP hardened. Also seeing as there's a massive evacuation going on Price killed every American soldier and civilian using planes and helos to evac.

I replayed BO2s campaign and enjoyed it so much, so I went to BO3 and holy shit it was garbage

I get why people don't like it, but I thought the BlOps 3 campaign was neat. The big twist (spoilers not that anyone cares) being that you died in mission one (well technically on the table in mission 2) and the rest of the campaign is you reliving a twisted version of the other guy's memories. There are a lot of hints towards it along the way.
That said, they did a pretty poor job of explaining it unless you go looking
It also had absolutely nothing to do with the previous BLOPs campaigns.

There is a vending machine next to the elevator where you come out of and if you hold X or E etc a drink will come out (you can still do this) and the achievement was to dispense I think 30 drinks before makarov reaches the stairs I’m pretty sure there is still a video of someone getting it a few years back
Also I believe if you got one of the original discs from 2009 and you deleted all updates/DLC’s it would work

The Sorge I did that and I also felt bad about the dude in the bookshop comforting his dying friend. I remember standing there getting ready to execute them both since they wouldn’t escape alive anyways but I put my gun down b/c I had it aimed on the uninjured guys head for a quick death but anyways I put it down and prayed that makarov or his men didn’t find them then the dude in the brown suit just waltzed in and shot them both and I was so full of rage that I shot him and he and makarov and the others lit me up so when the check point reloaded. I went into the bookstore said I was sorry pulled out my pistol and both gave them both a single mercy shot to each of their heads and then moved on.
